I don't care. I was not a whiny child and the ones I've been around, more often than not, are not whiny. Every sound he makes is a whine. Every time he talks, he's whining. I absolutely get that it's Jenelle's fault because she doesn't pay attention to him. But he's still a whiny big baby.
-
When he was trying to get them moved and Jenelle was having her meltdown. He wasn't yelling and screaming or even throwing out insults. He was being fairly logical and trying to get her and Kaiser out of the situation knowing full well it wasn't helping his cause despite her bawling like a six year old and slamming doors in his face. He also doesn't seem to lose his temper when it comes to Kaiser who is an EXTREMELY whiny big baby of a child....I can't say I wouldn't have turned around and told that kid to shutup myself once or twice. Based on what I've seen from Nathan and his complete inability to control himself when he's angry, that would've turned into a visit from the police which would've resulted in him throwing up his hands and walking out mid-move. David doesn't really scare me at all. I've never really seen the rage all of you point out or the quiet seething you all see. The only time he really goes off is when Barb is involved. He absolutely says inappropriate things to those kids all the time, but I guess you can't have it all.

How do we know it was the next day? It was just her next segment. Doesn't mean it was the next day. I'm also kind of done with this whole idea that we have to be hyper aware of how a kid views something these days. I doubt Nova even noticed.

Jenelle's inability to see how she's contributed to Jace's propensity for hitting is upsetting, to say the least. And for all the talk about David being full of rage, Nathan is downright fucking scary. David at least seems capable of some introspection and self-awareness. Nathan just straight up looks like he'd have a roid fueled explosion and not realize he'd beaten someone to a pulp. He's also going to end up at a Physical Therapist if he doesn't learn how to lift weights correctly. Just watching him made my neck hurt. I did appreciate Leah's discussion with Gracie about her insensitivity regarding her sister's condition. Gracie is a sweet kid but she needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. What I don't understand is that if Chelsea knows Adam is on meth why doesn't she tell the courts that and remove any contact with Aubree at that point? I get that Aubree loves her dad but....yikes. I'm puzzled by Briana. What does she do all day? Does she have a job? Go to school? She's so Eeyore about everything in her life. She doesn't seem to have any spine whatsoever when it comes to her baby daddy or her mother or her sister. I applauded her discussion with Luis about adoption, but she's just so blah with everything.

Ya know...I dunno if I agree that Michelle Carter is guilty for killing that kid. What she said and did were disgusting but was she at fault? I dunno. But I will say this...if her conviction stops people from telling other people to kill themselves online then I'm all for it. Kids these days think that because they are behind a screen their words don't matter because it's not as bad if you aren't saying it face to face. It's about time someone's feet are held to the fire for the disgusting shit people say to others on the internet.

Boyz II Men still got it....damn. None of these boys seems especially talented or memorable. I struggle to remember names and faces every time I watch. They all sound the same. They're pretty much interchangeable and that's not good for hitting it big. It bugs me that the audience is stacked with women. Who chooses the songs they sing? Every damn time it's the cheesiest, hardest, most ridiculous songs for them to sing. Simon Cowell would be telling someone "Terrible song choice" every week if he was on this show.

I'm not advocating for anyone. And unless you've been rummaging around in every previous post I've made on this site, it's unfair to say I have never supported Javi. I have repeatedly said in every post that she has her issues as well. Don't ignore that to satisfy the agenda to prove I'm advocating for her. But it seems rather hypocritical to demand she answer for her actions while simultaneously absolving him of his. The point is in THIS episode the boundary violation was JAVI'S. I'm not about to white wash it with use of fluffy words to make what he's done less of a violation. What's clear to me is that the abuse, both mental and verbal goes both ways. He is not void of responsibility for his actions just as she's not. Both of them are immature children who like to pick at each other. I'm just saying that a lot of the blame is being pointed in one direction over the other and from where I sit they are both absolutely to blame for the continued state of their relationship. And it's not "his own house" anymore. They are divorced. The house is hers. He doesn't retain ownership because he lived there once and helped pay the bills.

It doesn't matter what she said to him in response. The threat was made that he was coming over which she states she told him not to. He insisted on coming anyway and then showed up. At that point she could have said anything and it doesn't matter. He pushed it past a boundary when she told him not to come and he did anyway. That's the foundation of understanding what the word "no" means. Javi clearly doesn't have a grasp on that word as he's continually come at her after she's told him no or asked him to stop. That's not ok. That is concerning. Javi's entitlement ends where? Because from what I've seen, as a woman, I wouldn't go near him with a ten foot pole.
-
Just so we're clear. I never said he abused her. I said he was entitled and threatened her. Which....since he signed it and all....means he accepted responsibility for doing that. If Javi has been or feels abused, he is more than entitled to go and get a protection order against her as well. And people can miss me with the "I feel for the women who have real issues and can't get any support." None of us is around enough to accurately judge the level of fear Kail feels. I mean, what is that? Here, your fear is justified so....you can have a PFA. But you? Nope. No PFA for you. If you're not doing anything and a PFA is leveled against you, then keep not doing anything until it's over. Problem solved. Judging a woman's fear and justification for that fear is why some women don't report the issues at all. I'm also laughing at the "I send 10 texts in a row all the time!". Please. You are missing the point. Javi was sending demanding, threatening text messages and when she didn't answer, then he threatened to come over. THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS "Oh hahahahhah something so funny at work happened today that I have to tell you (10 texts explaining follow). Gimme a break. So....my comments stand. Have a great day.
-
Really? She would've had to have shown the texts in order to get the protection order. If she showed the texts and he made a threat to show up at that point it doesn't matter if he did or didn't. The threat was there. She told him not to. He said he was coming anyway. Protection order granted. Watch what you say in a text message. C'mon now.

From what I see he does as much digging as she does. He knows damn well she doesn't like it when he walks into the house and starts asking her questions and raiding the refrigerator....yet, what does he do? And when she makes a comment, he smiles because he got his little charge out of pissing her off. He then sits down and asks her questions about where she's going and what she's doing. Knowing full well how she's going to respond. And I guess I'll need him to explain to me what his altruistic end game is for texting her to demand answers about who she's dating and then showing up at her house. It was clear he didn't want to sit down and have a calm discussion about the pros and cons of this guy being around his kid. He wanted to fight, tell her she was a slut for getting pregnant again and start making insults about her choices in men, hence the threat to show up at her house. I'm not defending Kail. She's rude and mean for small reasons, but she's not the only one at fault in this relationship hitting the toilet. I really don't see Javi as being the poor, put upon ex-husband who just doesn't understand why she's always so pissed off. He knows what sets her off, he tweaks her nose constantly in an effort to get her to react. They both do it. Twitter has a blocking feature, as does every other social media platform (I've had an online stalker who tried to drag me into bullshit constantly. I blocked her and kept my mouth shut until it stopped). He enjoys the drama just as much as she does. It's become a sick game of "Who can hurt the other one the worst?" between them. All I'm saying is I'm seeing a lot of feeling sorry for Javi and just....no. Nope. He's as much at fault for their back and forth as she is. He needs to take a note from Jo. Jo finally realized he wasn't going to win so he shut his mouth and stopped allowing her to drag him into the drama. I think Jo thinks she's fucking insane, makes shitty choices and isn't the greatest mother...but the courts are involved in their relationship now and if he wants to see his son, then he needs to be a grownup. Javi hasn't learned the lesson yet. Hopefully he does soon. Let her look like the asshole, stay out of it and keep your mouth shut.
-
Last time I checked, two wrongs don't make a right. Javi is an adult and is responsible for his own behavior.
-
So...while Kail has some issues and is extremely blind with regards to her own behavior, Javi gets no pass from me for his behavior. He is not justified to demand answers and then show up at her house in order to have a screaming fight because she wouldn't answer. In that respect, I agree with Kail's order of protection. In so much as Javi has reacted like that in the past. He gets pissed off and decides he's due answers and he comes over and bangs on the door in order to have it out with her with no thought for the fact that HIS CHILDREN are upstairs. She's no paragon of virtue when it comes to parenting, but he's not much better. Isaac is obviously understanding now that sometimes when Javi comes over it means an argument and it's scary for him. For all Javi's "care" for "his boys" you would think he would recognize that and take it down to a 1 when his kids are around. Javi is due some answers when it comes to who Kail has around his son, but he doesn't have the right to come over and scare the shit out of everyone while he yells and screams and pounds on the door. Which he's done a couple times now. There was a big difference between Jo's interaction with Kail where he seemingly got the answers he wanted and Javi's where she barely interacted with him and now has pushed a protection order. Jo has learned to deal with her and Javi needs to do the same. I have no sympathy for Javi at all. He saw what she did with Jo and he continued on without any trepidation thinking it was all Jo that was the problem. He backed her up and in some instances pushed her into tweaking Jo's nose and now he wants to claim innocence? Nope. He needs to chill out, calm down and stop reacting to everything she does. It's only causing her to dig her indignant heels in the sand and that's not healthy for his kids. In some respects I get Kail's irritation towards him. He's very entitled when it comes to her. She could be nicer about it, sure. But he walks in that house and starts grabbing at things and asking her questions and it's clear she's over it. They aren't married anymore and they aren't friends. There is still a lot of hurt and pain between them and it seems like he wants to go from 0-60 in six seconds with her. Please with the "Javi just wants to know about who's around his kids" crap. Javi wants to know so he can judge and insult. If he was so damn worried about who and what was going on around his kid he'd think twice before rolling up to her house and getting into screaming arguments in front of him. Javi decides he's due answers so he sends her text messages one after another and then ends it with telling her he's coming over to her house. I mean, Kail is rude as hell but she is a girl who lives alone with two boys she is responsible for. Any male continuously text message me in anger like that and then show up at my door would be facing the face of my extremely protective and irritated German Shepard who doesn't let anyone near me unless he says so. From where I sit, Kail is within her rights to get a protective order against him. He has no impulse control and he's about as self-aware as she is. When Javi's pissed off, it doesn't matter who's around or who he humiliates. He wants to rant and rave like a six year old in a grocery store who didn't get his candy bar. Kail's behavior does not negate his. He is an adult and a father and he needs to knock it off and start acting like it.

It was a strangers car. http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2012/04/13/car-that-went-down-with-titanic.html The 1912 Renault Type CB Coupe de Ville, painstakingly recreated for the film, was purchased in Europe by William Carter of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, who was travelling with it and his family. It’s presence on Titanic confirmed as well as it can be by an entry on the ship’s cargo manifest, as well as a $5,000 claim made on it with the Lloyd’s of London insurance company after the disaster, which Carter and his wife and two children survived.

I guess I'm not one of those people who picks apart a movie to death. I never cared that Jack wasn't on the door, it made sense to me that if he had gotten on as well it would have sank as was evidenced when he did try to get on and they both fell back into the water. I don't care if Mythbusters did an experiment on it. I also didn't care that she never told her mother she survived. Had she done so, she would have just been put right back into the chains she was trying to get out of. Her mother was bound and determined to marry her off to some rich dude so she could keep up appearances. The sinking is mostly why I watch. James Cameron did very well portraying the desperation of those trying to get off along with the panic when the final realization came that the ship WAS actually going to go down. The terror was palpable even though I was watching it 80 years later knowing full well it was going down. It's still one of my top ten favorites.

I don't think he was on the boat that got torpedoed as there were a few lifeboats in the water headed to that boat when it got hit. He also spoke of a U-Boat being the reason his boat sank. While he was yelling down at Tommy and Alex to cool it he also said that the lifeboat had been capsized twice since they left the beach. I'm not sure what boat he was on when he got bombed.
-
That wasn't him. It was the depiction of the first officer Murdoch. The family was pissed off he was depicted as shooting people and then shooting himself when they say that didn't happen. As far as I know Lightoller's family didn't have issue with how he was depicted. Probably because in the movie, he was actually seen as being someone who tried and failed to tell the Captain to slow his ass down.

I loved this movie, even though it was SO EFFING LOUD. I walked out of that theater needing to sit down for a minute after I'd just sat for two hours and then wasn't able to sit still. The ticking clock really got under my skin. Interesting tidbit I ran across this weekend... Charles Lightoller was captain of one of the "small boats" that rescued soldiers. His boat was named the Sundowner. The boat was requisitioned by the Navy to go retrieve soldiers but he refused to let them captain his ship and instead took off for Dunkirk himself with his son and a friend. They rescued about 130 soldiers. His evasive maneuvers helped them avoid an attack from the air that threatened to sink them on the way back. Sound familiar? Why am I mentioning this? Charles Lightoller was the most senior officer to survive the sinking of the Titanic. He claimed the ship sank in one piece and because of his claim (despite most of the survivors who were asked saying the ship broke in two, his word was given more weight because he was an officer) no one knew the ship was actually in two pieces until Ballard found it in 1985. Wonder if Nolan gained inspiration from this and that's who Mark Rylance's character was based off? I really wish someone would ask him.

I laughed the entire way through this episode. What a gigantic tool.

The first time I saw this story was stupid and now that I've seen it a second time it's even more stupid. Yes, women fighting over a man. How idiotic. And Bonnie with her self-righteous bullshit. Frances wailing "I LOVED that man." Why? He didn't love you. He was an asshole and you should've acted like a grown up and left him. I have no sympathy for anyone in this story. All of them are idiots.

I mean...there is another side to the coin here. Just because you are overweight and lacking self confidence doesn't give you carte blanche to steal someone else's pictures, pass them off as you and lie to people. Yeah, Robert was an asshole in the end because it was clear he just didn't like what he saw, but she toyed with his emotions first. Unfortunately she has no leg to stand on by way of morality in this situation. If she was just some girl he rejected knowing full well what she looked like then that's one thing. But she lied and manipulated him out of the gate. It was a sad situation but I didn't really have sympathy for either one of them. Fear of rejection is horrible but you can't run around lying to everyone. She gets no pass from me. She knew what she was doing was shitty, hence her come to Jesus moment, but she did it anyway.

I've seen people say that Kaiser is paying for his father's mistakes in Jenelle's eyes and I never really saw it until last night. She hates that kid. She wants nothing to do with him because he reminds her of her father. Her exasperation every time he opens his mouth is going to turn him into one helluva teenager whom she can't control. That's what we call Karma.

Just had the AC guy in my house. My dog is a large black German Shepard/German Shorthair mix and he HATES other people. I put him upstairs but behind a baby gate so he could still see someone was in the house and get past it easily if he heard me scream or anything. The repair guy heard him growl and was like "You have a dog?" "Yep." I told Finn to go lay down that it was alright. Finn did so but not without a good long look at the guy. He got my repair done and took payment in ten minutes. Saw Finn peeking out from the baby gate and just about ran off my property. Dogs....yep. Better than any gun.

I"m so sick and tired of hearing people take up for OJ Simpson. It was refreshing to hear someone finally say he was a fucktard who got caught this time. That one guy "I ain't goin' down for OJ because I know he ain't goin' down for me." was awesome. I applauded him. He should stay in jail for the rest of his life. He has a shrine to Nicole on his wall in his cell...pfffft shouldn't have killed her then dipshit.
