Yeah I guess you'd be forgiven for hoping they won't shoot you. I think I'd rather go down swinging.

I find the acting in general on this show to be really bad. It's like watching a rehearsal or a play where the actors just wait to deliver lines. Weatherly's PTSD breakdown in particular was poorly done. Good to see Chunk wearing grown up clothes though.

Wow did they lay it on thick this episode. It was like a series of political speeches. I actually lost interest in whatever it was they were trying to solve and I still don't understand how most of the crimes they investigate are linked to the Navy. Deeks' speech in the car about being so angry and how America is the best and most powerful country and how could this happen? Ok, so I am not American but he was talking as if crime doesn't happen there. As if the elderly don't get abused as if people in general don't get assaulted and murdered etc. It came off as very try hard and naive. The rest of the team were just as nauseating.

Yes exactly! She was very youthful looking, I don't know much about the actors on this show so not sure if she got sick or had something happen that just aged her quicker in some way. or if it was just the outdoors life. I just saw the first ep of the new season and it looks like word got out because she seemed to be wearing a lot more foundation which has softened her features. And yes, killing off Ty has pardon the pun, taken the "heart" out of "heartland". For a few seasons now anyway they have just been repeating themselves by getting in younger actors to do the rinse and repeat. I hated Georgie when she first appeared but grew to like her. I have not liked any of the younger replacements since. They have just been annoying. I have to admit my interest was waning last season anyway and I just watched the new season ep. I struggled, I don't really care about the family anymore. I think the show ran it's course a while ago. They need some original story lines instead of just repeating themselves and more actual horse stuff not show riding. I always liked seeing Gramps and co out on the range.

He looks like he has lost some weight so not sure if that is due to illness or some strict regime but that can mess with someone's system even if weight loss is meant to be seen as a good thing. I think in real life Amber is an outdoorsy horse girl so I'm thinking she spends a lot of time in the sun and wind and that has made her look much older than she is.

Watching this for the first time as I only ever caught the occasional ep during it's initial run. I really don't like Shaun and I see zero chemistry between him and Megan. Shaun really is a dead weight even when it comes to his business partnership with Noel. Every character really seems to be a mess anyway.

I get the impression where he burned the body is Voight's burial ground! I don't think cops waste all that much looking for some of these people generally but yeah given he shot a cop they will waste a lot of time.

Going strictly off the show the sense I get is that you would be walking on eggshells the whole time. And if the kid wants to bring a special friend up to their room than you have to allow it. And of course if they don't like the clothes they are expected to wear for a someone else's event than you better alter it quick smart even if it ruins photos and that person's special day or even their deposit if it's rented!

I got the impression at the end that they did one of their famous time skips, this time a flash forward. So it starts off as being about Kevin's wedding but finishes up with it being Kate's wedding in the future. Far from an expert on the show but the This is Us Wiki states Kevin was born 1980 which makes him 40/41 years old. Whilst preparing for what is now Kate's wedding he makes a comment that he is 45 years old. So based on that, the writers have jumped forward 4 years at least to Kate's wedding. We also know from a previous flash forward that Toby attends a family gathering in the distant future alone. Regarding the dress. We all have something we don't like wearing or doing. It's called being a grown up and we realize it's just for one day. The idea is for the bridesmaid dress to be a uniform by changing it you ruin that effect and make it look like one bridesmaid is more important than the others. Fine if that is what the bride wants but not cool if the bridesmaid wants it herself. Especially since Madison doesn't even know her bridesmaid all that well. It is just out of courtesy and convenience that she chooses Randall's girls.
-
A case of Tess saying she wants to be treated like everyone else but then gets upset because the dress doesn't reflect who she really is it whatever! And inconsiderate of Madison as well. I always felt uneasy about Kevin and Madison without the baby I don't think they would be getting married.

Yeah, how many times have we seen in TV and Movies the long drawn out revenge chat only for that person to be killed or overpowered because they spoke too much! Although, head shots would have been more deadly. I didn't really get that either. Unless he knew it wouldn't look good, how does a veteran officer explain how the cuffed criminal takes his gun? Yep. You would think the advantage those two have is they do the same job for the same boss! I mean it wouldn't have been unbelievable at all if she said "Voight was beating the crap out of the guy and then he took his gun somehow.. I mean.. it was like Voight allowed it to happen and then I had to shoot him". Just a regular day under Voight's watch! I think Burgess spoke too much and just pissed the guy off so he continued hitting more than he planned to. I thought she was going to manage to crawl to the hospital while her colleagues were beating each other up.

I remember Katrina Law from Hawaii 50 and thought she was a terrible actress. Nothing has changed. Knight didn't seem to have any emotion or anything about what happened. Maybe it was a bad script as well because her or Knights attempts at cute humour fell flat. If the show is ending it would be good if the could show how Gibbs gets those boats.out of the basement. This show has been dull ever since DiNozzo left.

I only watch this sometimes due to a friend who likes it. The rampant stupidity never ceases to amaze me. I kind of want to see the show as a parody of Cancel Culture hysteria but I know that the writers etc take it all very seriously. And what if they change the name of the hospital? Given Native American's didn't have hospitals in the Western sense, wouldn't the building itself still be a reminder of their ancestors defeat?!

They way she treated her boyfriend was always so cruel to me. I found the cast of women to be quite droll overall but Bonnie was the worst and without Christy there was nothing to balance her anymore. I didn't like Jill either, she was also very self centered and was given too much screen time. I would say they knew Christy was going to leave/be sacked in advance and started planning for the shift. Yeah that is why I mentioned it. Season 8 for L&S was the last as it wasn't the same without Shirley. Not originally, they stuck with the Laverne & Shirley title even though Shirley wasn't in the credits.
-
Not surprised it's getting cancelled. Without Faris' character it is a bit like Laverne without Shirley. The eps have been depressing and the characters are hopeless. I guess that might be funny for some people but I find it to be meh. Actually the guy in the wheel chair provided some relief but as the show is built around women he wasn't given the time he deserved.

The Adoption support group seems very "First World Problems" to me. Those people were for various reasons were left without their birth parents and were brought up by other people, yes, people who "didn't look like them" given the rules and regulations around adoptions they would have been placed with at the least middle class parents and none of them look like they were worse off for it. Some of their comments were also rather racist "I looked around and no one looked like me" yeah well, perhaps you could have been looking around an orphanage and seen a bunch of people who looked like you? I think Randall shut up because perhaps the penny was finally dropping in his head that he actually owes everything he has to being adopted.
