  1. People are relentless now, there's a 'save magnum pi' campaign all over social media plataforms, I've even seen a 'gofundme' page out there! And now that s4 is over, I can say it was my least favorite (even being a shipper!), so, in my pov, I'm not sure they could do a better job had it gotten renewed. Still, I'm sad, it was a good light-hearted show, and cancelations are always painful, specially if we've followed them from the get-go.
  2. Let me join you on your way out, as I also am mesmerized by the way Higgins only calls him Thomas now, never Magnum. I'm a shipper, can't help it, tried not to many times, but it's useless... And I loved the episode too, curious to see where this MI-6 storyline is going.
  3. You're very welcome! In my case, a promo could've very well turned out to be everything it's sold, and I'd still be burned. I know I've had my fair share of "shipping" that, once it happened, it was all a big meh, lackluster, disappointing. So, whereas I can't help getting hyped up beforehand, I know It can also come crumbling down. And me? Stare at that gif whenever I have a chance? Nope, not at all. The hidden spoiler, it's the only explanation for me too, since she's still away in 4.01. Or
  4. I'll try to embed here, hope it works! And since I'm not sure this is considered spoiler or not, better safe than sorry. If it doesn't work here, you can find under the hashtag magnumpi, in slow motion, in pictures, fan art... I don't think anyone managed to get this in HD yet, though. And the Magnum Writers account confirmed this is in the premiere.
  5. I got one more Mama - Ellie Goulding ft Clean Bandit Fly - Nicki Minaj ft Rihanna Fly - Mark Joseph
  6. Could it be because of Katsumoto? As he's always had a hard time cutting Magnum any slack on any matter. Though, whatever the reason, might circle the drain rather soon, cause CBS dropped a little fall promo yesterday and twitter is going crazy with the 1-sec magnum/higgins content.
  7. Just remembered one more Perfect - Simple Plan Mama - Jonas Blue Mama - Spice Girls
  8. Breathe - Michelle Branch Perfect - Ed Sheeran Perfect - One Direction Monster - Shawn Mendes&Justin Bieber Monster - Paramore
  9. Me three! I don't know what Acorn is, though, I'm not from US. Where I am, we're getting season 8, so I can tell you guys are in for a great ride, especially with Candice and Antoine! The show gets even better with each passing season, I have no complaints.
  10. First one of the series that I read was 'Do you want to start a scandal', the 4th book, Rafe is in it, as a supporting character, and husband to Clio. That was enough to take me to his book straight after!
  11. With the passing of the great Markie Post this week, I remembered this thread, since she played the best 'worst tv parent' I have ever seen: Erin Lindsay's egotistical mom in Chicago PD. Known as Bunny, a hustler, she was always scheming and deceiving her own daughter, or feeding her pills and alcohol addictions, never cared one bit for her kids well-being. Erin started early in illegal activities; Bunny's other kid (Erin's half brother) was kidnapped by a child trafficking ring and victim of a pedophile. Talk about bad parenting...
  12. He sure is around, he's played a not so good guy in The Mentalist, a gambler who, in between shady businesses, accepts a booty call with his opponent's wife as part of a payment for winning a poker game.
  13. Insane chemistry?! My God, @Katy M, that's shocking news to me, after all those years! Still, it's a no-no for me.
  14. Lorelai and Dean?! What?! When?! For real?! I'm not on tiktok, so I can't read people's comments, but her daughter's first love?! I know Lorelai could be very flirtatious, but I never picked the tiniest grain of it there, I'd see sexual tension between her and Kirk, but never ever, her and Dean. I'll binge watch again sometime, see if I missed anything...
  15. Same. There's this scene in the 2004 movie 'Meet the Fockers'', where Robert de Niro's characters has quite the frowned face when his future son-in-law Greg (played by Ben Stiller) starts talking to his 2 year-old grandson with that silly baby talk and he goes: "Greg, Greg, Greg, don't infantilize him. Talk to him like an adult!" It never gets old.
  16. I seriously think dogs like Skip or Verdell should've won an oscar for their roles as supporting actors!
  17. Add to that the first time ever WW showed up on the big screen. I watched Batman v Superman in theaters and when she came in flying, all geared-up and saved Batman from becoming barbecue, I remember the crowd actually going nuts, cheering and screaming!
  18. I've a few picks for the thread! Milo, the jack russel in The Mask. The whole pack of siberian huskies in Eight Below Verdell, the brussels griffon in As Good As It Gets. Skip, another jack russel, in My Dog Skip, Rodolpho, the ferret, in Along Came Polly.
  19. A least favorite one, mistake of the season: Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton, in Chicago PD. They couldn't sell lemonade on a hot summer day if their lives depended on it, let alone a couple in love. I can't even say they have no chemistry cause they haven't a clue what that means to begin with, it was all cringy and unpleasant to watch. For the life of me, I'll never understand why a show forces on its audience a couple that has fiasco written all over it even before it actually happens.
  20. Well, she seems to have a knack for it, cause in The Mentalist, she was engaged in a illicit sexual relationship with her minor student and was also the killer that Jane and Lisbon put away for life.
  21. A few more other roles: Mandy Moore was in 4 episodes of Grey's Anatomy, as Mary Portman, seasons 6 and 7. She died, as it usually happens on Grey's. And in the movie Princess Diaries, as Mia Thermopolis' bully. Justin Hartley, besides Smallville that's been mentioned, he was on Revenge (seasons 2 and 3), as Victoria's son and in a Castle episode (4x13). Milo was the bad boy in Fergie's music video, Big Girls Don't Cry.
  22. Derek: She's in the car, she's in the car and she won't stop crying. Cristina: Did you propose? Derek: Noo! She went to William's execution - //- Meredith: You don't remember me. But I remember you. As the coward who stood over my dying husband... ...the love of my life, and you didn't even attempt to do burr holes after he failed to get him a head CT. Burr holes!I was doing burr holes as an intern.' That one night should have cost you your entire career, but instead you're sitting up here judging me? You don't deserve to judge anyone. - //- Arizona: Oh my God! I mean, I understand why you're into her. She's hot. Wait, she likes you? Nathan: What? I mean, I'm going to try not to be offended at that. Arizona: No, no, no. It's just that Derek was, Derek was epic for her. They were the great love story. I mean, that girl's heart beat for Derek Shepherd. It just, it never occurred to me that she would ever be with anyone else. He was perfect. He was everything. That man turned her world. -//- Nurse: You have an appointment? Amelia: I don't. Uh, could you just point me in the direction of his office? Mark: I'm sorry. She has that look on her face because the last time someone walked into this hospital looking for Dr. Shepherd without an appointment, he shot him. Amelia: Mark! Oh. Oh, my God! Mark: Hi, Amy. Amelia: You still look hot. Mark: And you, uh, look a lot more grown-up than when I last saw you. Amelia: You can say "hot, " you know? 'Cause I am. I'm hot. Mark: No, I can't, because in my mind, you're still Derek's 12-year-old sister. Huh. So what are you doing in Seattle? Amelia: Uh, Derek's an ass who won't return my calls. Derek's an ass who got shot and won't return my calls, so I brought him a present or a bribe or a peace offering.
  23. That's very kind, Annber! We turned out ok, no significant health issues, but the fear really gets to you, those who had it will know what's that like. So, we played cards and board games all day long to try and shake those dreadful thoughts away. The fun definitely brought smiles to our faces and helped our emotional during those long two weeks.
