  1. And the largest photo isn't always in triangle point position. Sometimes it's on the far right, sometimes the far left. And in a couple of row, it looks like the outside two photos are equal size. Unless I have wonky eyes. :). The first time I saw the "Our team" photo, I didn't notice the bizarre sizing. Now I can't unsee it!
  2. Re bottom photo: Who is on the far right? Compared to the rest, she seems to me to be dialing it in.
  3. Glanced at Victoria's insta. It seemed to me she's using filters on closeups, and the filters do her (and no one) no favors.
  4. I thought it was Megan with a new hair color and style.
  5. I in no way intended to imply Dayton was like Cassie in the "I don't have to smile or do this and that because that's not who I am as a person. I say what I'm thinking no matter what." When I said Dayton didn't have what it takes, I meant imo she just wasn't the DCC type, stylewise or in out-going personality. Cassie wasn't the type, both in dance and in personality, either. Only difference was Cassie got a full pass on it all, imo, because Cassie was Judy's daughter. Dayton otoh did not.
  6. Watching season 12 (think that's right) on Pluto. Episode where they have the alumni "instruct/advise" rookies. Cassie and her "not everyone is a happy smiley person and I was the lay down the law one." Cassie, you were a jerk. Of course the job of DCC is to be look happy and smiley. You just were allowed to not be happy and smiley. You were allowed to be rude. You weren't even held to the same dance technique and standards. Because you were Judy's daughter. That's it. That's all you brought. Also--Dayton didn't have what it takes. Only difference between her and Cassie is Dayton wasn't Judy's daughter.
  7. A female's, particularly a child's, self-esteem and value must not be based on how others view her appearance and sexual desirability.
  8. In regard to the reporter's question (which i"m not saying shouldn't have been asked, because it's about the only way to get to the answer) "Why do women subject themselves to this by becoming cheerleaders?" Exactly. That's the general principal of misogyny---to control women, to keep them out of fields/professions/jobs/politics. Make it so hard for them to apply, get hired, remain on the job they don't even try. And when anyone fights back, the oppressed are made the wrongedoers for "not playing along," "not doing things 'right,'" instead of placing blame where it belongs--on the oppressor. To acknowledge that blame and the responsibility for corrective action needs to be on the oppressor means also the necessity to understand and admit what misgony/racism/bigotry is, the many ways it's manifested and the harm it causes to not only to individuals but to society as a whole.
  9. I just saw "Daughters of the Sexual Revolution: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders." Stumbled across it on Swerve Sports on Roku; enjoyed it so much I decided to buy it on iTunes.
  10. Agree. What's the message? Kids should be allowed to be jerks to whomever they want, particularly adults? It's "cute?" This kid appears to be at least pre-teen. This is how he's been raised? On top of just throwing it period, he hits the man in the head ffs. "Yeah this is a great model for kids! Maybe it'll start some Tik Tok challenge!"
  11. I hate commercials with "people doing terrible things because we think it's cute." One is the orange juice commercial in which an elderly man is removing snow and an asshole kid hits him in the head with a snowball and runs away. The other is DoorDash where the guy is feeding his poor dog fast food all day long, which is guaranteed to put the dog in his grave sooner rather than later.
  12. I'm my daughter's personal shopper. She has 29" waist and 44" hips. Levis 725 high-waisted bootcut and Guess Shape Up high-waisted skinny are two jeans styles that fit great and don't cost a fortune. She doesn't wear pants other than jeans so I haven't had the experience of searching for those. When I was looking for jeans for her, I came across this blog and thought it had some helpful tips. https://meridethmorgan.com/11-best-pants-for-small-waists-big-butts/
  13. Bed Head Blow Out Freak. I have thick fine hair that's got natural curl below ear level. Because my hair is fine, I use the low setting---sometimes I'll semi-dry the crown with regular dryer first. The Bed Head smooths out the frizz. It 's the only tool I've ever bought that I really love and would replace if it dies.
  14. Claire and Kelcey are showing why Rachel should not be point.
  15. I fail to see the humor and hope Cassie took this down. Wow.
  16. Because historically, females have been held to subjective standards of appearance that arei widely accepted as an objective standards; thus the standards are essentially always unattainable. We now have social media to help pile on. End result is females as a group come out on the losing end every time. The judging doesn't come only from cis males; females are socially-conditioned to do it to each other.
  17. OMG Caroline's poor face. It's tragic. Hopefully when whatever was done wears off, it'll be done differently next time. Or just leave it alone.
  18. Based on what they've shown of Madeline S, I find her distinctly unremarkable, so much so she doesn't even qualify as a good blender.
  19. https://fb.watch/8TUBu7VyY_/ “The most technically trained.” 🤣 Caroline is unrecognizable.
  20. How is this on TV? What the hell have we become? https://www.ispot.tv/ad/q5ch/ladder-financial-life-insurance-so-good-you-might-wish-you-didnt-have-it
