It's been 12? years since this show aired. They were never a "typical" family, if there is such a thing. The normal part is that most of the children have left the nest. This was touched on when Leon left, but not much with C or J's kids. Divorce or unsealing is not uncommon in polygamy. Meri's Dad's 4 other wives left him. Bonnie stayed. Christine's mom Annie left, Annie's mom left the LeBaron in Mexico, and remarried into a polygamous family in UT or ID. I hope TLC touches on that in seasons to follow. The decisions they make or made are not uncommon in the accounts I have read. Two topics they could develop, imo.

Genuine question. What all did he do to her? He said he slapped her. He didn't say how much, how often. I could imagine him bullying her. He did it on camera with Dayton and Breanna. Some kids are terrorists. My gson was a fighter/ biter after he got a new stepdad. Was kicked out of 5 pre-Ks. Since he turned 8, he's fine. Shitty stepdad's gone. I'm hoping the Black Dress was picked to showcase her tattoo. I think Christine looks great in denim, the plaid shirts of earlier seasons. One of the things I loved about the show, what pulled me in, was that they were shown more real imo. They're from the West, raised in Mormon culture. At the time, they layered. A little more modest than ladies in Texoma dressed, but close. Texoma gals wore a lot of thin cover ups. I love that Janelle just shows her zoomed up plain face on lives, and that Christine is still being her authentic non filtered self, finding her way as she goes, enjoying her freedom, loving the kids and gkids.
