  1. This is what I’m thinking.
  2. Not just WCtH, he was Kellie Martin’s best friend in the most recent mystery series she had (where her fiancé was murdered-she was a therapist). Also, he made a Christmas movie with Luke McF that seems to be a favorite. Maggie’s Christmas Miracle.
  3. Episodes with Gibbs and his dad, and episodes with Gibbs dealing with kids.
  4. In lifeguard training it is taught to the rescuers that the drowning victim will often fight off the attempt at rescue with the real result both victim and rescuer perish. In this version, our rescuer clearly told May to calm down when she reached her.
  5. I cringed when McGee just nonchalantly pointed to the outlet when the app nerd needed a charge. Of course he knows about electronic hacks so he should have known better. We all have known about them since they were exposed, revealed, and reported in airport charging stations years ago.
  6. Spoiler led me to question how rigorously Horizon employees were vetted to begin with. The whole system, regardless of the good techie intentions, seemed like a system begging for abuse by the day to day tech hires.
  7. Go back and watch it again. The main point was that the demonstration of currency exchange was being demonstrated on some poor postmaster’s actual LIVE account! The tech then sheepishly admitted to Michael that he would have to put the original figures back after the demo (fat chance, and how would he even remember?). Then, (even more creepy) when Michael realized every tech in that room had access to every PO account, he looked around the room. You should focus on what they’re all doing, too. They all look pretty suspicious. Later, as you probably did realize-the whole visit was denied and evidence of it conveniently “lost”. To quote an old movie, they must all be “stupid, stupid, stupid” to think they would get away with that. Additional lie at the end, that Michael misunderstood and was shown a “test” lab isn’t going to fly either.
  8. I believe Matthew’s extreme sense of utter failure is what is keeping him from being honest with Trixie. Remember how scathing his father could be to him? Trixie, herself, never really had to economize due to the “clothing allowance” she used to receive from her aunt. I’m worried that Matthew’s despair and sense of failure, haunted by his late father’s cruel comments will lead him to some rash behavior.
  9. After the ep 1 credits the special featuring the real people was advertised. The Real Story of..premieres Sunday, April 28 11/10c Airs again Sunday, May 5 7/6c Both the series and special are listed on IMDb
  10. You probably remembered it that way because both were happening around the same time. The prick test produced quite a few false positives, though. Still, it was a good screening device. There never was a screening test for polio, but the vaccine was a godsend and put many parents’ fears to rest. I remember letting the sugar dissolve and when the public nurse discovered the little (bitter) capsule in my mouth, she pitched a fit. “You were supposed to chew it!”
  11. The visual was amazing. He routinely visualizes the solution to the problem within the human anatomy, but this is the first time he’s done so to manage the people in the physical environment. Seems strange the skill never generalized till this incident. Didn’t he have a meltdown during the COVID mass casualty episode? Really happy Dom is over his aversion to blood.
  12. I really couldn’t imagine no one was watching this, thanks.
  13. Took me forever to find this forum. It doesn’t turn up when you search. The insidious thing about this is how loooong it has been allowed to go on. So many lives affected and essentially ruined. It’s not even over yet. No amount of compensation or apology is going to make the victims (workers or customers) whole again.
  14. Good point. When Shawn says rude things, he always uses a sweet, sing-song tone and a smile that seems to convey: “I’m only stating the truth.”
  15. I also really like your final paragraph. It really irks me that in this example of a poor teacher-student pairing, the writers keep insisting that Charlie’s socially unacceptable responses to criticism are immediately used by her as an accusation that the critique violates her ADA rights. That is, she seems to claim that the criticism is unwarranted “punishment” for her disabilities (autism, ADHD, impulsivity) rather than an attempt to encourage more appropriate responses. Whenever she does this with the other teachers, they ignore, rather than exacerbate the exchange. It’s almost as if Charlie feeds on bringing Shawn to his breaking point. Moreover, the writers really seem to tone down her aggressively confrontational communication style when she’s interacting with the others. Hence, when Shawn seeks help, they seem to think he’s over reacting. As someone above mentioned, yes, Charlie is exceptionally intelligent and qualified to her level academically, there’s not the ability to (silently) visualize the problem and solution. The gap in her communication skill is seriously impeding her ability to progress in this setting. Basic conversational turn-taking should not be something they need to teach her in a surgical setting. She really needs to work with a counselor and an SLP before she can take advantage of her wonderful placement at this hospital.
  16. Honestly! And I really thought we were going to see Matthew in another scene having had a stroke! Maybe they just want us to hate the couple/family before they get rid of them.
  17. Isn’t that the standard “booster”, with all three? You’re supposed to get it every 10 years. After the big COVID vax push, I was able to easily get it at the pharmacy (honestly couldn’t remember when I last had one, but definitely overdue). Gardening is an easy reminder.
  18. And he used the public/fan comments to make the new book fresh. I thought the theme of “write what you know” was pertinent, but didn’t prohibit him for branching out in future, as he’s about to know a bit more about romance. EK was given a decent part and direction in this.
  19. Tired of Jamie’s boss and I think he is, too.
  20. @VanillaBeanne, I did not say that. You copied someone else out of my post. That said, whippy granny was pretty funny.
  21. Forgot for a minute who that geek was in the dungeon. Then I remembered McGee was invited to work with them earlier this season (big honor). Then I figured since it was AI, they had to defer to “cyber” unit. Kasie is more of an all around lab rat brainiac. I’m sure if she wanted to, she could easily work with the geeks, but she’d be bored.
  22. After the child Colton/grandmother scene at the pond, and after the next set of commercials, there were 4 minutes left on my recording. Gotta squeeze those ads in.
  23. In the 1960s (and beyond), both my grandmothers dressed straight out of the early 20s and 30s (picture “Aunt Bea”). There were only so many places they could continue to buy the clothes (full corsets and all). Dressing every morning was quite the chore for them.
  24. Ok, she finally said why, but only at the end.
  25. Those are valid points but, the character definitely voiced severe fears of hospitals in general. Waited all episode to hear more from her about a traumatic experience (death of a parent or operation gone wrong) but it never came out. I thought she’d share it with Phyllis while they waited, but-nothing. She was so fed up with the doctors/hospital that she refused to even go back to the maternity clinic.
