I thought the pathologist said that her brain had swelled and they could say with relative certainty that it had happened 3 hours before she died? See, this is why the case is so perplexing! There are so many different theories floating around it's hard to know what is the truth and what is just rumor that has been around so long it's now taken as fact. I would like a special that shows all the facts and doesn't try to sway me one way or the other. It can be done.

Didn't they also have Burke interviewed right after it happened? The parents themselves couldn't be bothered for a year and a half, but Burke was sent right in. If the parents really thought he did it, they would never let that happen. I have a question that has been bothering me. Where did the picture come from with her body and the blanket in the basement. Isn't the story that John found her body (with the light off) and ripped of the duct tape and then brought her up and laid her on the floor. So how can there be a picture or her in situ?

I was watching the Dr. Phil episode on this and Jon Ramsey said something that cleared something up for me. Dr. Phil asked him why he put the date of her death as Dec 25 and he said that he thought the ransom note was written the night of Christmas and the call would come the next day. So, from his mouth they should have been waiting for that call the following morning. I have heard that they let the time of the supposed call pass with no notice and I have heard that they were all waiting for the call. Since he said they thought the call would have been that next day I really want to know which of the above is the truth. Were they waiting or not? This has been a major sticking point for me, so now I need to do some digging. I originally brought this point up here so I thought I would address it here instead of over on that board.

Not a terrible waste of time all in all. I request a new host and for the voters to try new things like they did this year. -

Vodka, and or staring randomly into space during the stupid bits is still working for me. No PB&J even though I mildly enjoyed the gluten shaming -

Julia can win all the awards, the show is always funny. I can tell she really loved her dad, that is very hard to announce he's dead on TV.- 5.4k replies

Rami said that he asked the director to never release that clip. He said it quite a few times which makes me think he really meant it and wasn't just playing around. I think he is trying to be a serious actor. -

Rami Malek was so pissed about that clip! He tried to play it off, but he was fuming, he was still reaming the handlers at the bottom of the steps. Someone is in serious trouble! -

I'm sorry Terrance Howards wife, you had one job, remember and pronounce who you are wearing correctly. Good luck getting free gowns in the future. -

Anna Chlumsky is wearing a cotton candy duvet. Terrible. The bottom is like my 80's sweaters -
I have some trouble with the putting back on the same clothes from last night. Wasn't she at a party? Christmas party attire doesn't seem to be the same as private jet attire to me. I think she never changed or took her makeup off.

Watch A Clip From Dr. Phil's Interview With Burke Ramsey
Arynm replied to Primetimer's topic in Dr. Phil
I think the third part is next week. I'm 99% convinced Burke didn't do it. He had two moments that for me really showed that he was not involved. One was his face when Dr. Phil mentioned the train tracks that fit the marks on her face. You could tell that he had no idea about that theory at all, it really took him by surprise. He made the same face when Dr. Phil asked him about sexually abusing his sister. It was like the idea was so foreign to him. I think he's weird and might be covering for his parents. He might not even know IF they did it, but he's still covering, just in case. I would bet he never asked them or had any discussion about it. He would rather not know. -
I thought that the date of expiration was in numbers so he was double checking that 10 stood for October. Maybe not illiterate, just really stupid and lazy.

Yep! Roanoke Island is in what is now Dare County North Carolina named I'm sure for Virginia Dare first European child born in the Americas.

I have a fire stick and I took one for the team and checked to see if the episode was available. It did look like I could watch S6E1, but alas, it was just a 12 second promo. The one with the creepy house and the smoke that makes a 6. My cable has this episode called The Mist. Does anyone else have that?

Watch A Clip From Dr. Phil's Interview With Burke Ramsey
Arynm replied to Primetimer's topic in Dr. Phil
Burke seems like a shy quiet person who would rather deflect and ignore rather than face anything head on. I am exactly like him. Nervous smile at inappropriate times. I actually laughed when my daughter passed out giving blood. I'm not a terrible person, I just don't process emotions exactly like everyone else. Burke does the same thing, I think. He knew something was up in that house and chose to stay in his room rather than find out what terrible thing was happening. I wouldn't read the note either, it would be too close to emotions that would not want to be brought up again. I can see how the smile is off putting to most people, but he broke my heart. I know the feeling of smiling when I shouldn't be, but I can't help it or don't even realize its happening. I have no idea if he had any part in his sisters killing, I am leaning towards maybe by accident and them the parents covered it up, or he had nothing at all to do with it and just is not comfortable talking to people. I can't wait to hear what he says about his voice on the tape. That might change my mind. Again.- 119 replies

What stood out to me in this special was the DNA and the ransom note. They said that they not only found the DNA of a hispanic male, but a couple of others as well. Why was this never mentioned? It seems like it would be important. The use of 4 markers is strange. Why would they not do the usual 13 markers? I don't fully understand touch DNA or the markers so I hope one of the other shows will go more in depth. The ransom note is still highly suspect. I don't care what time was in the note or what day they thought they were going to call, the Ramseys would not know for sure if the kidnappers meant that day or the next and should have been waiting by the phone for that call. As far as they knew that was the only link and hope for getting their daughter back. Huge red flag for me. Also: the grand jury deposition I think saying that Burke didn't go downstairs but that he said that the voice on the tape sounds like him was strange. Maybe he doesn't remember? He was young, maybe he blocked it out or has been coached so much he believes the story.

S01.E12: Madame X / S01.E13: Whistler's Mother
Arynm replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in American Gothic (2016) [V]
I thought Maddie would be on a boat watching them from afar cackling and spending all the money with a young hot boatboy, or poolboy or something. Missed the pictures again, I must pay better attention I did love the ending, figured it was Sophie, but I didn't see the Alison angle. Jack is the next killer, give him a few years. I did miss Tom, he just disappeared. Lets do this again next summer, what do you say??!! -
I feel like eventually, the DNA in many of these unsolved cases will be able to pinpoint the killers. It might be making a picture of the killer by figuring out the characteristics using the DNA or having a family member put their DNA in a database where it can be discovered that way. It might be too far in the future for justice, but I have hope we will know one day.
