  1. Earlier today there was discussion of a family that was never on TV and its possible future issues. I believe that was the reason.
  2. Are they renting one of those indoor party places with activities like a Chuck E. Cheese? If so it would explain the joint party. Nothing to stop them from having a cake at home on the actual date.
  3. If everyone's conception was logical there would be a lot fewer people on the planet.
  4. There could be a (subconscious?) feeling that the marriage is not going to last, especially if she is deported, and a desire to give Ryker a sibling that motivated them to get pregnant again.
  5. Their family music group has CDs and YouTube videos with a lot of views, so he would be entitled to a share of that income.
  6. I think they are moving because, when she moved to NJ, Katie didn't take some classes, join a gym, or get a job and has never made any friends there besides his family. So she is going back to her pre-made friends -- sisters.
  7. "top 3 most emotional positive moments of my life - you walking down the aisle was up there too." Better translation: Top three = the three kids, then he realizes he should have said four. Adds the wedding on as the fourth.
  8. So now it's a good thing to use their kids to make money on YouTube and she should do it more?
  9. Goodwill segment starts around 8 minutes and ends around 10 minutes.
  10. Did they actually wear those outfits in their daily lives or were they costumes for their musical performances and publicity photos?
  11. Housekeeper or cleaning lady?
  12. In my first apartment eons ago I had a landlady whose parents were poor immigrants from Italy. Somehow she knew that one of her ancestors had been listed on records there as a "child of the hospital." She (or her family, I don't know who decided this) had a story that the unnamed father of the child was a count. Landlady actually had stationary with "Countess So and So" printed on it.
  13. Not just Italians did it that way. My Slovak grandparents married in 1899, he came in 1900 and she came to join him in 1903. He was also a miner in the Scranton area. I was hoping they would mention the town Valerie's family lived in but they didn't.
  14. I watched this episode last night. Valerie's grandfather died leaving the letters behind. They never had them translated or even bought a dictionary and worked it out themselves? What did the letters say? Did they mention the relationship or were they just very ambiguous, so it seemed as though the writer was just a friend? I suspect the grandfather was forced to marry Domenica because he impregnated her and planned to take off as soon as possible, never to return, as he even said in his reply to immigration -- "always."
  15. Yes, they could be used for the mirror. A sheet of plate mirror would have been my choice for that bathroom.
  16. I wouldn't trust a molly bolt on wallboard to hold an outlet where shavers and hair dryers would be plugged in and pulled out regularly.
  17. It looks like the wall ends very close to the switch plate. There may not have been room for that. Assuming that Jill is right handed she probably uses the mirror on the left because the drawers are full of her stuff. The mirror placement on the right may not bother him.
  18. From what I've seen done they have to be attached to the studs in the wall. They cannot just be stuck in a hole cut in wallboard without support. [They being the electrical boxes for outlets and light switches.] The position of the mirror was apparently determined by where the electrical had to go.
  19. That kind of it's a word but not the right word error is ubiquitous these days, because of spell check and autofill -- even in the media. Perhaps the people referenced in this story that ran last night are being chased. .
  20. Not so: https://www.southernliving.com/culture/monogram-format "For an individual, the order of initials is the first name, last name, and middle name. The last name initial (center) is larger than those on either side." Sort of like: gSa
  21. Maybe there is usually a cabinet in that spot but they moved it to make room for the pile of toys.
  22. By any chance was the boy asking for a dog? It is a common thing for a child to ask for a pet, promise to take care of it, and, shortly mom and dad are doing the feeding, watering and toileting because the child has lost interest. It sounds like Bradley has been begging for a dog and they want to emphasize that it is his responsibility. Doubt it will work at only eight but luckily a dog is capable of reminding.
  23. So all the agonizing that Ellie was forced to go there to do child care and cooking/cleaning was unwarranted?
  24. I'm surmising that. What are people usually afraid of when in a house alone? She was supposedly crying about him leaving since they were married, before the medical issue started.
