  1. Toni’s Mom painted everything as sunshine and rainbows.  Only when he pressed did she mention anything negative... and then she lied.  I could tell she was lying even before the interventionist talked to the other family members.

We are getting some statistics etc. I’m hoping we see some more coordination with first responders etc as we move into later episodes.  However, this is Intervention. Therefore we will have interventions.

  2. Chocolate addict- people who say ‘ well they can leave any time’ need to read your post. It’s an excellent reminder of why that’s so difficult.

Add to that the fact that that 2 of the 3 offspring that have left(Josh, Jill, Jinger) have come  back home defeated by life.  Yes, Jill is now in an apartment off the compound- but we don’t know how long that will last.  She couldn’t even do the apartment thing without Derick.

  3. She’s still 16 emotionally. Her maturity growth stopped at the traumatic event. She’ll need counseling to get started growing again.  So, of course, the internet is still important to her.  Getting on the computer first thing doesn’t mean she is evil... it means she’s still immature and reckless.

Mom should have moved that computer to the common area already.

The actress reminded me of the actress from the Law and Order SVU episode ‘The Family’ about the rich young woman who lived on the street as a matriarch in a street family of kids.  That character was evil.

  4. People who would get offended by Jill speaking at a ( most likely mandatory) bible study wouldn’t be sending their child to this school.   They send their children here so that they specifically get Christian teachings all day every day. My  guess is that there is a contract  between the parents and the school where they specifically grant overall permission for this type of stuff.

Public schools don’t have religious presentations.

  5. I’m going to guess that the Abby/Palmer exchange is meant to show us that Abby is thinking of a career change.  Somewhere she can aid the living rather than the deceased.

There’s too many personnel changes   happening on this show.  Once Abby leaves I am only going to care about McGee, Palmer and Jethro.

  6. I hate that Jenkins gave up his immortality for someone who was either:

    1. Going to use the artifact to kill him or

    2. Going to use it to kill her self.

If it was number one- seriously Jenkins? If it was number 2- She wanted to give up her immortality and the universe made that happen. Who is Jenkins to be messing with that just because he felt he misjudged her?

  7. Since he was stuck in adolescence and still wanted to do blood pirate pacts, he shouldnt have needed a reason to wear a patch . Kids don’t need reasons to wear a patch while pretending to be a pirate.  I thought the bleach was a sort of punishment for his actions, but I couldn’t decide Why.

I also don’t get why he murdered people just so he could have them walk the plank.  Captain Hooks victims never actually got harmed in Peter Pan.

  8. It was a federal crime not only  because If where it was, but because it was against a cops spouse.  At least that is what was said.

It was a good episode, but I did find it preachy.  Too many stats about opiates included.

  9. I’ve only caught part of a couple of these episodes. That being said- I’d never let anyone decide my colors or    anything  else for me sight unseen. We will decide on colors, brands, models together, along with placement and everything else.   I’d better not be surprised on any of that when the reveal is done. If I want a sink where I can reach the handles and you say you can deliver and don’t- you are fixing it for free.

Furthermore, I hate Stephanie’s taste in decor.

  10. Harley had NO time to be filling Moseley in about the solar panels and the coffee shop. They learned about them literally 5 seconds  before in the same scene where Moseley called them. They walked outside while on that phone call. Yet somehow Moseley knew. That would only be possible if she was somehow eavesdropping on the conversation.

i didn’t like this episode at all.  Is Linda Hunt ever coming back? If not- then give Hetty a retirement party. Dont just send her to a make shift prison in Vietnam and abandon her.  Quit shortchanging Nell, Eric and Deeks.

I did like Sam calling his daughter at the end.

  11. Google says in Louisiana the jury decides on Capitol punishment and if so, must be unanimous. So maybe all 12 wouldn’t agree?

that was a heart wrenching case, wasn’t it?   You could tell the detectives were having trouble dealing wirh it all. And, of course, the family will never get over it.  What a tough thing.

If the speculation in the other threads turn out to be true that Jessa is pregnant too, that makes four Duggar grandbabies born at or around the same time frame - within the year, at least. Jinger is the only one not in Arkansas so hopefully she can escape most of the circus.

that’s how things are going to be for years. With this many young adult and teen Duggars, there’s bound to be a few couples expecting yearly for 10-20 years. There will have to be name tags at every holiday.

  13. Nice to see that the actress playing Bishop can act and do accents. She played a good criminal. But the episode didn’t  hold my interest. Jack just changes the entire mood of the scene every time she’s on screen.  McGee was seriously absent.

  14. To piggyback on Rap541... Amy has probably learned it’s best not to try to give Audrey( and Jer) advice, or correct their spelling and grammar. DILs resent it when they do.  Also, Amy probably learned a while back not to read Audrey’s musings.

  15. I think they will notice for the next year or 3, but it’s going to be hard for them to keep track soon.  Once a couple more offspring get married and expecting..they will soon lose track of names, etc.  my step-Dad was the youngest of 14.   After a while, grandma didn’t give a crap about her grandchildren.

  16. I still think the jury needed to know that she talked to a lot of strangers over the internet and invited them into her home.  Those 10 may have had alibis, but the jury may have decided that it was reasonable to think some other guest might have been invited in that day. It gives the husband reasonable doubt. They didn’t prove he did it, they just proved he didn’t have an alibi.

This is part of why I can’t decide if he actually did it or not.

  17. Is it husband murders wife week on Dateline? Tonight’s repeat episode was the Starbuck family.   I still can’t decide if I think husband actually did it or not. I do know I feel sorry for the 5 children- especially the oldest son who has custody of the three youngest, while recently becoming a father himself. I also feel especially sorry for the youngest son, who found out he was  not biologically his fathers’ son due to DNA testing as part of the crime investigation.
