The suddden arrival of the defendant's speeding ticket was awfully convenient.

All these crime dramas make it seem that the trial happens within a week of the arrest. The reality is that the trial happens months or years later. Annoys me every time

We all knew that Mom was shady, right? Now we know she knew the ‘other guy in the woods’ and and she sent Russell away so he wouldn’t tell anyone. Yes, I believe Russell is telling the truth. Just like I thought Dory was telling the truth last week. Colter is the one with the blind spot here.
I know this was ‘off the books’ - but it needed more Velma and Teddy. At least Bobby was called upon.

Oh MY! Tim called someone else Mom and the best Mom ever. There can be only one best ever. Jill must be crushed.

I thought Parker hated ships because he was hiding on one for multiple days on some long ago mission? So now there’s a new ‘ I hate ships’ backstory?

The entire episode was over the top goofy. Knight’s Texas worship, her black hat, Torres’s jump the shark horse whisperer routine, and then non Delilah Delilah.

I wonder what their reason for putting excessive chromium in their products is?
Chromium is rumored to help with weight loss- although I believe that’s been disproven. A friend of mine drove a 1000 miles every couple of months in the 1990s to visit some ‘weight loss clinic’ in Texas that included chromium in the ‘treatments’.
I really wish that Jill and her down line would investigate the product they are hawking.

Why is Luke pressing charges when he told Sharon last week that he’d advocate for Manny? Luke is such a jerk. And Manny is a hothead, acts before he thinks and should never have been in charge at Three Rock.
can we please stop with the Gabriella - Bode nonsense. Their chemistry sucks.

I don’t think Dan was actually given 10% of the ownership of the store. I think Ben’s deal with Dan was that his pay would include 10% of the store’s profit because of his expertise driving sales. So Dan wouldn’t have been entitled to Any insurance money.
Where has the sensible Jackie been all this time until now? She did a good job with Becky.
Let’s hope the Connors do something sensible with the money - but their track record is lousy.

So Roberta was young and immature when she had Gabriella. Well ok but that was well over 20 years ago. She’s now a cultural anthropologist. She should have grown up by now. Her behavior was terrible.
Vince was stupid. If any of his firefighters did that, they’d be suspended immediately. Gabriella has a duty to report him as being unsafe to work, which trumps his threats about HIPPA.

I’m not a Smitty fan. Not a Smitty hater - it’s just I felt she was shoehorned into the show and the actress just doesn’t play her convincingly. Her backstory didn't interest me. I would say that Smitty’s dad knows and that’s why he walked away at the beginning of the talk about Niles.
Aa for Forrester’s lack of send-off - it’s most likely because the actor has barely phoned it in all season because he wanted time off. Which is his choice, but he probably didn’t want to be on location enough to have a larger role in the episode.

I still find the OA and Genna? Relationship boring and unrealistic, He is absolutely lifeless around her. When we last saw them they’d been dating three weeks, now they are living together. But they act like they hardly know each other.

[COLTER] My father was full of contradictions
I think his father was full of conspiracy theories; and survivor prep. Mom too.

Has it ever occurred to her that the exhausting workload is due to her own desire to have 13 children, homeschool and travel constantly? That maybe the reason it is all so hard is that she’s fulfilling her own desires rather than her savior’s? He might prefer she quit having children, enroll those she already has in school, quit traveling so much and grow their printing business? Instead she assumes the devil is stalking her.

I think Dory knows the truth about their family dynamics. Mom is still living in the woods off the grid years after Colter’s Dad died. She obviously wasn’t dragged into the lifestyle by her husband.
It’s obvious that Dory doesn’t feel Russell had anything to do with their father’s death.- 8

I’m sure this reply will merge but I can’t stop that.
Poor Crystal. She’s going to die young trying to take care of her brothers-in-law.
The intervention meeting was a total cluster. Brooks:’No one told me this was an intervention’ - well, duh. And then he tried to light up right then and there. Taryn- I’m clean and sober - well yes I smoke weed, that doesn’t count. Joel was the most articulate of the three. A fist fight erupted.
And wow, just wow!- 1

The episode decription is way too long to type- basically three brothers, sexually abused as children, live in their mom’s home and have torn it apart. Parents are recovering addicts.

Just what sacrifices has Jill made for her children? They live where Dave and her chose. It’s decorated with everything that will fit in it and then some. She has plenty of clothes, make-up, and buys stuff on every vacation. She eats out and goes to girls’ night coffee a lot. They travel all the time- it’s her choice to do that. It’s her choice to ‘homeschool’, although I think the kids are actually unschooled. I don’t see any sacrifices she’s made.

Ducky, Jimmy( after he grew up), Abby
Mary, Percy, Chris, Loretta
Sam, Deeks, Kenzie, Hetty, Eric, Nell
My least favorites; Anna, Joella, Shay, Tammy, Sasha, Sloane

I probably have several. Two I consistently rewatch is the Charles Durning one and the one where Abby ties up the criminal/assistant Chip in the van after he kidnaps her.
On LA, it’s the one where Deeks can’t sleep after being tortured. Kensi shows up to watch TV with him and he falls asleep because he feels safe.
On NOLA, it’s ant of the first few seasons when Mary was an agent.

I saw that he liked and thanked the poster who said if Heidi chose pants or shorts, it was not anything to judge her for.

I‘m not sure Vince’s shaking hand has anything to do with the electrocution. Gabriella asked him how long it had been going on.
The storyline about Bode taking on Jen wasn’t realistic anyway. She’s not his biologically, he’s in prison and she doesn’t know him. Cara only asked him because she thought Jen was his. Jake makes more sense. I’m sure Bode will spiral though because that’s what he does.
Why was Luke at the Firehouse and not at the hospital with Sharon? Vince is 1) his brother and 2) under his command.

And of course my reply merged with the topic. Pre-intervention: Nick’s parents blaming Emily for. Nick’s addiction which started long before Emily came into the picture. Nicky’s sister telling it like it is! Nick’s mom has been sabotaging Emily’s family’s bottom line. Intervention- the family did do great intervention letters.
-
Nick and Emily are addicted to carfentanil. Nick’s family has stepped up to care for them
Hopefully this won’t merge with the topic description. I think it’s actually a Canadian episode
I’m halfway through the episode. I have no sympathy for Nick, Emily, or Nick’s mom (the enabler supreme). I have great sympathy for the rest of the family. Especially Jane and Malia. Malia should not be exposed to Nick and Emily. That’s one of the reasons I have no sympathy for Nick’s Mom. She’s not protecting her granddaughter.

Knight’s father struck me as the kind of guy that wants her to step up and tell him she’s got her own plan, thank you very much.

Sweet Fellowship: Duggars and Friends (aka the Bates Family and Other Featured Families Thread)
in Counting On
Yes and no. What do you think the ease and chances are of someone finding a well paying job in a non-Amish community with an 8th grade education in this century? I expect any that take that off ramp eventually return ( which is allowed since they left before committing to the Amish life).
I think it’s not any better chance than the Duggars and Rodrigues’s being able to function away from their parents and without a spouse.
