  1. That’s nonsense. I’ve stayed in hotels that were prepaid by someone else and I didn’t need the person’s credit card (work reasons). I smell producer shenanigans.
  2. Then there’s Kylie Jenner https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2021/03/21/kylie-jenner-bashed-highlighting-makeup-artist-gofundme-cause/4792481001/
  3. Thank you. It was my mom’s idea. I originally want going to apply, but then she said to do it, then donate the money. My mom’s good people. I raised her right.
  4. Our province had a stimulus, based on income. I was lucky enough to have kept my job during the pandemic, so mine amounted to $84. I’m donating it to our food bank.
  5. I started drinking. It’s only 5:40 in BC, so this could be a long night.
  6. She’s been married multiple times. Don’t you know what you need for a wedding, Rebecca?
  7. I’m not slated to get my first until April. Canada’s been slow on the vaccines, but we found out this week that teachers in my province will be in April. I was supposed to be July/august, so I’ll take it!
  8. Hello my people. My parents got their first vaccine shot today, and it’s officially spring break. I’m ready to snark!
  9. I need to try making that technical! I agree with @Cetacean, all that bakers are fabulous. I have shouted “no!!” more than once this season when a baker was sent home.
  10. How many of us started applauding when we heard she didn’t get on the plane?
  11. Watching Natalie and Mike, I started thinking about my parents. They got married over 50 years ago, 2 weeks after my mom came to Canada from Jamaica (my dad had already been here for a year). I was thinking of how my Auntie Bev was her bridesmaid and she had only been here for a sec. So I called them. Turns out my dad played cricket with her husband and arranged for her to be the bridesmaid. He also arranged a bunch of the wedding stuff—my mom brought the cake from Jamaica (rum fruitcake—it would easily last). All my life, and I’m just now finding out that my dad planned most of their wedding! Now to convince them to watch the show (in their day, they had to get married in a month).
  12. Totally switched over to the Grammy’s during Tarik and Hazel. Really enjoying Da Baby’s performance. Only tank top was on the violin player.
  13. You know who loves Oreos? Andrew loves Oreos. If you continue to eat them, he will find you and convince you to fly to Mexico. It will work this time, he promises.
  14. Is there something odd about that scene, like they recreated it? Zied looks like he’s in front of a green screen and they don’t show both their faces.
  15. Was that a text, or was that the script she was supposed to read?
  16. Happy Sunday! Just watched some Grammy fashions and I’m ready to snark (about 90DF, not the clothes).
  17. When my cousin got pregnant, our family's first thought was "shoot, now we're stuck with him", him being her partner. That was my first thought when Lea announced she was pregnant, that we're now stuck with her. I look forward to seeing Shaun as a father, just not with her.
  18. Season 9 premieres April 19. Between this and the mothership, it’s going to be a good month! https://eatnorth.com/dan-clapson/top-chef-canada-season-9-premiere-april-19
  19. I almost loved your comment, except I think that Dan and Julia were also fabulous hosts. But I agree, Anne and Alan are such a breath of fresh air and the (tied for with Dan and Julia) best hosts ever!
  20. We could have the Canadian Snarkfest in the Okanagan amidst all the wineries.
  21. My sister just had the audacity to call me during 90DF. I cut that conversation quick. I have snarking to do!
  22. But they have ties for $19.99. If that’s not upscale, I don’t know what is.
