  1. Angela 2.0 is just outstanding. Where did they find her? I guess I like throwing up a little in my mouth. How on earth do two adults, one a half-century old, call each other "Baby Love" with a straight face? Does Ed know you're supposed to rinse the mayo OUT of your hair?
  2. Good lord. Wilmington is at LEAST five hours from Charlotte, more like seven. It's very far. Any North Carolinian knows that.
  3. Oh, she'll trip over a nostril hair or such.
  4. The three women onscreen (the heavy mother/daughter were related I believe, the skinny gal was maybe a GF?) were constantly stroking and petting the younger heavy gal in an uncomfortably intimate way. What on earth is going on in this family situation? Polyamorous? It creeped me out. Marcus was taken for a ride on this one.
  5. Maybe there's someone for everyone, which warms my heart somewhat.
  6. This series SO captures the struggle someone feels between their onscreen persona, and real, ugly life. The scene where Mr. Pickles' sisters' puppet designs and jerked away from her and show up in cheesy TV ads. How humiliating! Also living up to the character's image when his life is falling apart -- and then no one wants to hear it because they are acolytes worshipping at the Pickle altar. I know a similar kids' onscreen persona, and he will never be able to escape everyone viewing him as a caricature; it has devastated his life.
  7. ikr? In my day, "dating" meant actually going somewhere to eat, do an activity or socialize. Now it is a euphemism for having sex.
  8. Honestly, who could blame her. She's rolling with the punch and getting the most dough out of seriously compromised circumstances. And she very much cares about at least one grandchild.
  9. You are right. The actres's degree of obesity is pretty -- it must be so difficult to do daily activities like getting dressed or showering, or even the effort required to get out of a chair or bed. The amount of food consumed to be that heavy also requires so much effort, so the emotional and mental challenges must be staggering for her to do that to herself. There is a new TLC show called Hot n' Heavy that features enormous women and the thin men who are attracted to them. I would assume it might go the other way, but maybe for different reasons. I assume this actress is content with her weight and eating habits, it doesn't affect me, so more power to her if this is her lifestyle.
  10. But the dead guy in the bed was black, while the transplant patient with the fake champagne was white. Nobody noticed it wasn't Eddie? Is this the worst script supervisor or what?
  11. You'd think with all those eps of Catfish online now, people would wise up to the "broken camera" line. Has anyone here EVER encountered anyone with a "broken" cell phone camera?
  12. Good lord, if you're a foreigner in the US on a conditional visa, don't drive around with pot on you! Gotta say the seatbelt enforcement is usually secondary to getting stopped for something else, so I'm guessing traffic violation, cellphone, or actually smoking pot in the car. I did get a pot card while in CA and the doctor gave me a lecture about NOT smoking it in the car. He said cops look out for smoky parked cars.
  13. I was involved with someone at age 25 (he was 37) who, the day the tide turned, said something really nasty about "the problem is you eating it" when I said he was a great chef. I was 5'5 and weighed 103. I think this is a more common gaslighting technique than we know (I didn't lose or gain weight, just left when shown the door). He ended up with a heavyset woman who looked older than her years (he weighed 220 when we were dating) but I just didn't float his boat.
  14. I don't want to be mean or disrespectful in any way, but I hope it's a weight suit. That weight cannot be healthful or comfortable. The actress doesn't need to get incredibly thin or anything, but I pray the production isn't encouraging her to keep that amount of weight on, either. On the other hand, when John Goodman lost so much weight for health issues (and good for him), some aspects of his "chunky character actor" shifted.
  15. Agreed! Drag? If you like, it go and enjoy it and if you don't like it, you can simply let other be as it doesn't infringe on your life. But Noelle clearly said she wasn't into it, so it seems something negative that will stick with her emotionally if she uses the money for surgery and therefore WILL affect her life. I thought she was enough of an adult that time isn't of that much concern any more, so couldn't it be organized to find another way to raise the money over time?
  16. I thought exactly the same. Although the temperature might have provoked the gag reflex. In any case, I think the point was to show that Toby was not qualified to be left alone with Jack.
  17. Baby Jack is going to choke on those tiny Star Wars action figures and Kate is never going to forgive herself for leaving Toby alone with him. Baby Jack was seem gnawing on at least three of them. But what were they thinking, leaving them out like that. I bet it doesn't kill the kid but leaves his vision progress permanently reversed.
