The only thing worse than watching Brown Chaos (TM) in wedding planning is watching the Browns filming themselves planning a wedding via Zoom for the least-liked sibling.

Welcome! I agree. If Christine were really struggling with jealousy in polygamy after nearly 30 years, she could talk to her mother or aunt who all left polygamy and expand her perspective. But, in an early season, she showed how she is such a mental midget that she hid in the bathroom when she was in physical proximity to her aunt. Instead, Christine confides to Robyn on national television, and Robyn decides that Christine needs to tell Kody how she feels. We all saw the honeymoon in Texas with Nancy, the therapist to polygamous stars. Kody already commanded to Christine: She must honor the family (aka Robyn) if she wants him to love (tolerate) her. The only things that have changed are that Kody has become more intolerant, and Christine has become more insufferable. Robyn must have immediately run back to Kody to tattle on Christine, because in his talking head, Kody reaffirmed his low opinion of Christine, asserting that she remains delusional.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Grifter Lives replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I saw this very product on sale at RiteAid today. It was sitting on the bottom shelf. I immediately thought of @ginger90's post and smiled. In fact, I wouldn't had paid attention or known otherwise. But, if it's readily available in WalMart and RiteAid, I don't think it can rise to the level of rockstar elixir. -
Mykelti dropped out of college. Kody & Christine arranged for her to work at their friend's pawn shop. Then she met Tony. Before college, she was going to be a fashion designer, and, with a stretch of the imagination, she's in the field as she shills LulaNo and her press-on nails. Being a teacher may pique her interest now that she's pregnant. Aspyn actually studied education to become a teacher, but she switched majors in her junior or senior year and ended up with a general studies degree.

Meri's just asking them to ostracize her in her typical passive-aggressive way so that she can later cry that she was the victim. If she honestly didn't know about the "basement wife," they were not at all close or as loving as they claimed to be and yearn to return to. And, she is even more incompetent to guide them about living the Principle than Robyn. Meanwhile, Robyn's takeaway from her visit with Christine is that maybe they deceived her by presenting themselves as such a happy polygamous family before she joined. (Fortunately, she limits their participation in her monogamous marriage to financial support.) There was another clue that Meri's completely removed from the family: Kody hints at LulaRoe, saying, "Meri and Christine both booked a cruise, and now it's canceled." Immediately after, when Meri embellishes, she talks about it as her cruise alone.

Kody danced to mark his territory, especially since Audrey's father was there. Audrey's father's trademark move is the surfer, so Kody had to let him know who the alpha surfer dude is. Kody also was lying down on top of one of the picnic tables at the snow mobile venue, in the middle of the entire group. He's an embarrassment.

Their Tweets Summarized: Kody: Let me remind you that Christine killed my dream of Plyg Palace. She must suffer. Janelle: It's because the hill was a mountain, not because I'm completely lethargic and immobile. Meri: Regular interaction is so important. I prefer the friends in my head and catfish; they treat me better. Robyn; At least Christine didn't portray me as the problem, but I had to listen her go on and on.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Grifter Lives replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
They cashed out Janelle's 401K for the down payment for the house. If Kody contributed additional money from commissions, they probably considered it Meri's & Kody's. So, the people who paid or bought the home got the better accommodations. Christine could have leveraged the idea that she was responsible for all their children all day, and they shouldn't be playing and learning in the basement/dungeon. Instead, Christine was keeping sweet and passive-aggressive. According to Christine in this episode, she already knew that Kody didn't value her, because he never showered there. Robyn's usurping Christine's self-defined role of last wife & peacemaker and scoring a townhouse when Christine was pregnant or had just given birth to her 6th child and returning to the basement sharpened Christine's realization. -
Until next week, I'll look forward to reading all your remarks in the 90DF & Sisterwives threads! I won't watch the 1000-Pound Sisters.

Clue 1087 that the producers hate the Browns: They let the Browns film themselves on their cell phones. No cost to TLC. That's how the Browns will ride for another 27 seasons, unfortunately.

Is stiff competition between the 3 venues how they postpone the wedding, since we know that it didn't happen in 2020 or 2021?
-
Kody picked his wedding date to Janelle - right around Meri's birthday. Douchebag.
-
You asked for it!

Meri should suggest that they marry at Lizzie's. During the season that she was buying it, she said that she envisioned it as a wedding venue. Of course, the fambly wouldn't fit there, but she's missing the marketing opportunity.

So, Kody hijacked the issue of gay marriage to complain about polygamist persecution. And, if Christine weren't jealous of Robyn already, he says that he intended to make his wedding to Robyn a big, public celebration after a small wedding with Janelle, and an even smaller one with Christine. In the earlier seasons, he'd lecture us on the sanctity of the polygamist wedding ceremony and how it could not be shown, but he can't keep his stories straight.

Mariah and Audrey looked good in their flashback pictures. They've really let themselves go.

So the big accusation, "If you trust your sister wife," was Professor Robyn pontificating about a hypothetical. Robyn's the expert sister wife, even though she's never been one before. Meanwhile, we've never seen Christine, Janelle or Robyn with any friends on this show. And, I think that Christine was flaunting her relative independence as a dig at Robyn about the young children.

Last Week: Robyn the Peace Maker. This Week: Robyn the Kody Whisperer.
-
Robyn looks older than Christine, too.
-
Janelle's face actually looked thinner. She looked a lot older. And, they only shot her face. Meri & Christine never talked about Kody's not showering in Christine's part of the house, but Meri knew. Kody must have told her, as he played the wives against each other or just complained about Christine.

I see a Keurig, next to a tea kettle, and an espresso machine in another corner. I bet you there's also an automatic-drip coffee maker on that counter, too.

The 2nd week in a row that we flash back to the restaurant scene from 3 weeks ago.

That was some rough-and-tumble sex, based on her hair. Or, she took out the ponytails. -

Tarek is wearing a t-shirt with sleeves and a map of Thailand, knowing how jealous what's-her-face is of Minty. She's so boring that I forgot her name well into the season! -

Hmmmm. . . "Carter" closely resembles Yara.
