    I’m a little surprised they handed Beyoncé that award after her husband threw his little fit last year in his speech whining about how his poor put upon wife never wins. I was hoping they were going to ban her from winning it forever after that stunt. Money talks, I guess. Also, she can lose me with dragging her nepo baby around everywhere and trying to make her happen.

    I used to feel this way, but something clicked in this year, and now I’m rooting for them. It may be her sassy new haircut? I’m not even joking about that. I love their rhythm dance. I really don’t like C/Pom though, so maybe I’m just weird.

    Does anyone feel like the Japanese pair team was overscored here? And kind of often, in general? Especially here. I’m not a big fan of the Georgians but they should have been ahead.

    I am….underwhelmed. I guess we’ll see. Every time I think of her I think of that insipid Barbra Streisand program and her very junior choreography. Hopefully things have changed.

    Last night I watched Jason Brown’s Riverdance program from 2014, and I have to say we are MUCH better off with Tara and Johnny (and Terry). I also just wanted to ask how others felt about Lindsay Thorngren’s skating. I know she is dealing with an injury, but man, I just watch her and all I can think is, “There’s no ‘there’ there.”

    I am currently on Season 8, and they both intolerable. I find myself mocking her accent out loud after everything she says.

    I’m disappointed that “cackling hags” wasn’t brought up again this episode so that I could hear Ronnie and Ben lose it. 😂

    I don’t understand putting Lala in quotes when plenty of people use nicknames who aren’t getting the quote treatment. Jax, Raquel, Stassi, probably even the Toms. The list goes on…

    I too was kind of bummed at the lack of oomph from Who the Hell is Edgar. Still love it though! A lot of my faves from night 2 made it through, so I was excited about that. I really liked the Australian entry. I’m baffled about Blanka from Poland….I’ll just leave it there. Here in the US we’re going to watch live on Peacock and hopefully vote for the first time!

    I don’t care for “Tattoo” either. I just don’t get it. This is only my 2nd year watching, so I’m not super familiar with all of the history (other than random YouTube videos). My nine year old son and I picked Austria’s entry as our favorite, so I’ll be very excited to enjoy “Who the hell is Edgar?” live.

    I’m seeing on Twitter that next season’s rhythm dance theme is 80s music? It sounds like a mess but in the very best possible way. I can’t wait to see what Fear and Gibson’s program is.

    This is a random question, but….what is Vera Wang’s whole deal with figure skaters? I know she used to skate, and designed Michelle’s costumes, but then there was this whole thing with Evan Lysacek, and now she’s kind of glommed on to Nathan Chen. Am I seeing something weird where there’s nothing weird? Or is it weird?

    Morisi Kvitelashvili is in LAST after the SP. his performance was bizarre. A single Axel, a double-triple, and a double jump. Odd.
