  1. Tyrone has the most convenient inconvenient powers. Waiting for the reveal Hess is medicated to keep quiet.
  2. I'm here for Misty's arm... but please, let her have it soon and kick some ass... not be a last second tease for next season. Bushmaster continues to be amazing. He's going to force Luke and Mariah to join forces, isn't he? My favorite recurring element is Mariah vs Comanche. Like Cthulhudrew mentioned... Colter is so bland. And it seems the bright spots of supporting characters will be out of play. Maybe that leaves an opening for Colleen and Danny?
  3. The show definitely gets better each episode, but there is always just one little detail, one little thing, that bugs and chips away at me each episode, that keeps it from being perfect. In past episodes it was Tandy stealing the car but keeping the just married signs on, the sloppy hitwoman, and in this episode, Tyrone teleporting/phasing and not one person on the basketball team noticing. Again, for me, just a tiny off detail keeping episodes from being perfect. At first I was like, O'Reilly, no! But she's obviously plotting, but I hope the drug use doesn't come back to bite her. And Voodoo girlfriend and her aunt... there, they'll... I'm not sure, she seems so sweet, but she's probably going to turn out shady in some way.
  4. Main thought: I need a Misty/Colleen Daughter's of the Dragon Spin-Off. The bar fight was the highlight of the episode for me. Also finding the gag of Misty interrogating someone to only have Nandi/Mark/Ridenhour walk in at maybe that somewhat pivotal moment to be a bit... tiring/annoying. So... Luke will find out he isn't all that after obvious setup with obviously the villain and... somehow his Father will be involved at some point. So... Tilda's a goner right. I was annoyed... she seemed so naive, easily manipulated by Mariah. And Billie/Stephanie also working against Mariah. Loved that small twist.
  5. The best part of the episode for me. "Kick his ass" followed by a smile and, "Have a blessed day." She was gold. And Bushmaster, and his medicinal practices looks interesting... he doesn't look like a Diamondback... yet, which is a good thing. Diamondback killed the last chunk of Season One for me. I'm still in love with the soundtrack.
  6. So, Luke's going to learn he isn't bulletproof, isn't he? And when will the regular goons learn you can't shoot Luke? A lot of pieces introduced, can't wait to see how everything pieces together. Mariah and Shades, those two crazy kids... missed them. The music, Joi, in love...
  7. Tyrone and Tandy... I was kind of bummed in previous episodes with the stories separate, but it just means you get that emotional wallop when they do interact. So... Roxxon hired a terrible hit girl. Lights on, blinds/curtains opened... and apparently didn't even check to see if the crucial paperwork was destroyed. Outside of this small issue, my favorite episode, so far.
  8. Some updates: "Versus the Monster Within" - July 23 "Versus the Betrayal" - July 30
  9. Tandy and Tyrone are intriguing, they have chemistry, everyone else... not so much. I'd just like a little more of a hint as to what scarface is up to... I'm with Raja... first two episodes seemed to follow the Netflix MCU blueprint and this one took a left turn into Legion. And I'm with Sakura above...I was pleasantly happy to find O'Reilly pieced/was piecing together Tandy was attacked. This also goes back to scarface, that I'd like to know how the rich kid... or more likely his family... is involved in the eventual upcoming mess. I'm glad it at least ended with the namesake characters coming together.
  10. The opening was brilliant! I'm on the fence on whether Farouk was messing with everyone or if every really did turn on David. Also not liking spending all this time with the mission to destroy Farouk/his body... and now everyone lets him free. Again, unless he's messing with everyone... I can't see how... I'm here for a David and Lenny rampage/on the run season next season!
  11. Caught up with "Suicide Sprints". So... loved the episode, but noticed Tandy goes through with this elaborate new identity/rob a wedding... but leaves the just married sign and cans dragging along on the car. I'm assuming Liam will be arrested because of a previous robbing spree... but damn Tandy, left Liam to hang out to dry. I want to know where Liam goes from here, puppy dog still loyal to and follows Tandy... or will revenge be on his mind. I don't want this to be the end of the character.
  12. I caught "First Light" and got to say, I really enjoyed it. If it is Marvel... I'm there, no doubt. I mentioned this with Runaways and some of the Netflix series, I'm not as well versed with Cloak and Dagger, so I'll be a touch relaxed on it isn't like the comics, they did this in the comics, etc. etc. blah blah... I think my initial opinion was colored by the showing on FreeForm, but I'm glad all my worries were kinda proven wrong. I loved Olivia way more than the Disney kid from AoS. The two leads were excellent. This is another one of those sets of characters that have had mumblings of film/tv for years, so glad to finally see it coming to fruition... and start so strong.
  13. Loved the opening with David's ode to the comic hair. So... yeah... I'm going to need a David/Melanie smackdown in the future. Obvious trap is obviously obvious... except to Syd. Syd's the Minotaur, as someone up thread mentioned... but what side will she ultimately be on. I love Kerry... but haven't bought her as a convincing badass at all. It just has never looked convincing. I just kept waiting for someone to just, you know, gaze or quip about the giant hole in the ground, or heck... the GIANT PINK BATH STOPPER.
  14. I'm here for Amy presenting herself as a moral compass to Lenny... while also giving her the business. Highlight of the episode to me. And Lenny... is always good. Aubrey Plaza really is the series MVP. She does crazy, unhinged, but still so... somewhat... well, maybe a little bit... likable. Maybe? This is probably my favorite episode of the season... and finally giving Melanie something to do. I'm not sure yet what side is she on... I'm putting her on, she's in Olver/Farouk's control at the moment, plus she's under the delusions Oliver's planted, and I don't think she'll overcome it. I want Melanie and Oliver, those two crazy kids, to break from Farouk, but I don't think it will happen...
  15. Well, totally forgot about Melanie until the very end of the episode. I thought it would be down to Melanie or Clark as to who may betray David and the others... looks like I betted wrong and it was Melanie. At least it is something for Melanie to do... I loved the girl talk with Syd and Clark. This is where I pegged Clark maybe planting the seeds of betrayal... That's all I got right now. I'm still on board this season even if some elements, etc., have become annoying. I'm just a little exhausted of Farouk looking for body... David looking for Farouk... with a dose of trippy visuals... I'm still fascinated by the Vermillion. Totally sucks apparently not a single characters notices/minds/cares Ptonomy is now part of Fukiyama's mainframe... although I did love the opening. I'm expecting good things with Lenny on the loose in the coming episodes...
  16. A week late, but better late than never. Not too much else to say that hasn't already been mentioned. I'll keep it short. Overall, a Season, my opinion overall hasn't been this weak since Season One, but this episode, wow, again, Fitz, of the main crew, my favorite character. I cried with Mack and May for Fitz. Unless it was said Deke poofed, he's still there in some way... but way for the show to forget about him in the end there. Probably isn't the end of Talbot. Again, I just felt, there is a way to do "I'm the good guy" antagonist, but I don't think Talbot was done well. Simmons finds Enoch's ship. May and Coulson at the end were sweet. After a strong ending, and I'm somewhat in the camp that this should have been a series finale, I'm glad it's coming back next year, but where to go from here?
  17. Well... Wait... So... Did... Huh? Well, probably the grossest episode of the season. Even as gross/disturbing as the episode was, this was the first episode I felt... kinda moving slow. I was checking the clock several times. I was wondering when show was going to get around to the delusion/fear that planted in Ptonomy's ear, seems like an eternity ago. Future Syd and Farouk, I'm not sure who was playing who. Fukyama... lamest... reveal... ever... with this show, he could have been anything...
  18. Watching Hogarth's potential downfall and rising back up was the most interesting thing this season. Alisa was interesting. She seemed to have a somewhat high intellect, not sure I would say genius, she had that combo of childlike whimsy and wonder with the childlike rage. With everything I loved about the character, there just wasn't anyone, my opinion, on the level of Kilgrave last season. Overall, bittersweet for almost everyone. I say it almost every time with the Marvel Netflix shows, and I'll say it here too, I liked the Season, flaws and all, but overall, I enjoy the shows in the order they've come out. I've always been the biggest fan of female characters regardless of medium, media, etc. and I loved this show much with so many vastly different portrayals of strong women.
  19. Talbot... not looking good in the outfit, my opinion of course. Every time he absorbs something he gains a few pounds. While insane yes, does he have to be the, everyone else I bad, I'm the good guy brand of crazy? And now Polly and Robin dragged into it, too? What I want: The gang chooses billions over Coulson. What will happen: The gang chooses Coulson and saves billions. Somehow, it will be pulled off, and I'll cringe. Side note, is Deke kinda... dumbing down... regressing... as each episode goes by?
  20. Marilyn, no! Every character I love (or begin to love) on every show I love... ends up dead. "Trading banter with a delusion." We've all been there. I'm done with Trish. Officially. She can be Alisa fodder for all I care now. So, Malcolm can go work with Cheng now. I see that in his future. I don't see Malcolm/Jessica being repairable. This show this season, I've loved it, but it is lacking a Kilgrave. I thought Karl was a little too gung-ho to experiment on the lady who kidnapped him at gunpoint. Again, I've enjoyed the season, it's just... meandering.
  21. I thought it was overall a touching sendoff to Amy, while showcasing that no matter what, no matter what timeline/branch, whatever you'd like to call it, David's always going to get the short end of the stick. I did the love hair for suburban, happy family man David, though when he was waking up.
  22. I just want to know how Inez and Shane came up with their scheme... just a lot of variables between the two. But glad it happened to Jeri... Trish has become my most despised character of the show... well, there a few from JJ but she's leading the pack right now. And Trish and Malcolm probably leading the path to the finale. I see some jealousy on Trish's part, but she also seems the type to genuinely want to do the right thing for the most part... some of this season's choices on her part excluded... so I'm not sure which I'm in on Trish obviously wants powers from the Doctor boat.
  23. I forget about Pryce until he pops up. Honestly, would it have been anyone else but him... Jeri and Inez... who is conning who? Everyone minus Malcolm and maybe the super and his kid is unlikeable at this point. So... was Griffen not doing something shady with Trish's computer a few episodes that seem like an eternity ago? Did I nod off and that get explained? That is the one thing I keep thinking of this season.
  24. It was kind of slow for a while but these last few episodes in small no small part of Alisa have definitely become the strongest. I hope the remainder of the series continues to improve. Alisa is such a fascinating, tragic character. And Trish... dragging Malcolm into that. I did like Malcolm pitting Jeri's partners against one another. That was clever. I didn't think he would do that. I knew it was a matter of time before something happened between Jeri and Inez... I thought it would be sooner... and again... one of them is probably croaking by season's end. Putting my bets on Inez, but maybe some unforeseen issues to go along with the healer's abilities? I realized, I don't really like either character, through circumstance we're to be sympathetic, but both are rather despicable...
  25. Can someone stick up for Yo-Yo!? I'm still in the mind of... Ruby... taking out the killing being revenge on Yo-Yo's part... she (Ruby) was uncontrollable... it was one of those, a line might need to be crossed, no looking back moments. I know social media and the reaction to Yo-Yo's been mentioned so I'm glad I don't follow on social media. I'm tired of Daisy and Coulson, they better poof... if that route is going to be taken... and with some of this episode references, it is likely, but of course won't be Daisy or Coulson. While I hate seeing Talbot go fully looney tunes, villain, he sure was the highlight of the episode, with a small side of cheese here and there. The lemons... loved it... wish I could enjoy Deke as much as I did the lemons. So, he's obviously poofing, right?
