  1. Victoria easily/Jill (unfortunate but she's hardly on anyway)
  2. Well.....shit.....I'm a little embarrassed to say that this week, Steffy is almost made me a Thope shipper out of sheer, unadulterated spite. If Thomas weren't acting like an aggy, impatient, borderline abusive jerk I would've already boarded the ship in the most petty way possible already. She was not being supportive to her brother, and said more to push him over the edge than Hope ever has. Rushing into marriage has pretty much never worked for Hope, and only an asshole would find fault in her trying something different for the first time in her adult life. In fact, seeing 2 rich women raised in L.A. put so much stock in marriage was always weird because I know southern, god-fearing christian women that approach marriage with more caution, or even straight up disdain believe it or not(with varying degrees of experience ofc). But at least Hope made sense considering she had the dark cloud of her mother's sins over her head, so her emotional maturity was stunted. Steffy OTOH has no excuse for this June Cleaver-esque nonsense, other than she just wants to be contrarian to Hope. Which is fine, but she should be getting dragged for that by everyone including Thomas. So yeah, I'm never buying that Steffy has such faith in the institution of marriage considering her own is a wreck now, she spent the 2010's marrying/remarrying Lame ass(with Bill tipping the scales in her favor). Now here she is shaming Hope for not marrying Thomas not even a year after her divorce? Fuck off. Hope knows karate so why she's only trying to slowly smack Steffy and not full on beat her ass in the previews is beyond me. I guess Bradley still wants to peddle Steffy as the baddest bitch to ever bad since NeNe Leakes. So she's too good/tough to take a few deserved licks for running her mouth. Awesome. 😒
  3. Whoever decided that Claire needed a dream episode to herself should be put under psychiatric evaluation. Claire definitely has the full of herself part of being a Newman down already. How does her presence prevent Cassie from dying? Claire would've been much younger than Cassie at the time & probably wouldn't have been aware that Cassie was grounded for lying to Nick & Sharon. She would've been home asleep with her parents by the time Cassie went to the party with Daniel that fateful night. Thus still tried to drive him home after he got drunk & had the same accident, and so on. Even if she did live, then Summer is out unless she accurately gathered that Nick is a dog that would end up cheating on Sharon anyway. Which is the only feasible thing about her dream, so I'll give her that one. But then Nick would have 5 or 6(if he adopted Mariah) onscreen children. Noah, Cassie, Summer, Faith, & Christian. If Jordan isn't dead maybe she can thin the herd of Newman offspring by killing Claire & one or two of Nick's offspring. And does she really think that she's so awesome that Abby & Summer can get along because she asked them nicely? We all know JG loves propping boring newbies & Newmans not named Adam, and Claire is both so I don't see her learning anything the hard way because that wouldn't appropriate for a spawn of Victoria's. On the very off chance that Claire is ever ostracized by the Newmans, Adam is the last person that should give a fuck. Considering how she acted towards him having legitimate concerns about her. What happened to understanding that redemption could takes time Claire? If the Newman's ever give her their ass to kiss, Adam should just be like "I told ya so bitch!" and keep walking. Yep, unless Victora cheated on Cole with J.T and Billy. Which given how wooden Cole is, wouldn't surprise or even bother me. But in truth, Claire is just like her mother. She doesn't give a damn about her younger siblings(beyond what they can do for her), and wants to be the exalted/main child. Nice dream Claire. You managed to make the Newmans look weirder & more classless than they usually do.
  4. I'm convinced Josh Griffith changed his mind at the last minute like he always does. Tucker went from trolling Ashley when she went to Paris, tracking her to "avoid" her, to being sick of her presence almost overnight. Now he'll probably be thrown under the villain bus again for Nate/Audra this time. Or perhaps JG really thinks months of Tucker/Ashley going back & forth about who said/did what with stupid flashbacks thrown in was good foreshadowing for Ashley's disease. 50/50 chance knowing him. Connor acting out and behaving this way for attention would be too good to be true. It'd be better than what we're getting for sure. I like the kid enough and the actor is good, so I think he could pull it off. But we're likely stuck with the OCD storyline. Funny enough even though I just criticized him for it, if JG wanted to change his mind halfway through a story this would be a good one to do it to. Which is why he won't 🙃. While Connor chose to leave for the school, Chelsea being self-absored & dropping "Johnny is your brother" bomb on him then trying to kill herself, surely influenced that choice. She knows this but still wants to feel better about it. Throwing Adam under the bus by projecting her failures onto him is a way to do that. Chelsea is one of Griffith's favorite pets so she won't be held accountable for being a trash, undependable parent. Which just makes this plot even more insufferable.
  5. Lol at the show on claiming Sally/Adam as a once in a lifetime love/fate etc. They're like "Please ignore the year we pushed Nick/Sally, down your throats! And peddled them as the end all be all!" "Please ignore that interview that CH did saying Nick/Sally should have an unshakable bond" "Lol our bad" 🤓 Even if we ignored canon, MG & CH broke up IRL & the chemistry has evaporated. Now for me, it dissipated last year, a bit before or maybe after Sally's miscarriage. Today, I just think it's hard to miss the lack of chemistry they have compared to two years ago. It feels forced, not Nick/Sally levels of forced but it's up there. Also, there is no way Tucker is Audra's great love. And on Ally's worse day shouldn't be compared to it. I know TSJ & ZS work well off each other but it's beginning to drag. Especially since JG couldn't decide if Audra was using him or not. I kinda wish she was. Tucker is suffering from the writing, and it's really starting to show. Now it's getting hard to care about him one way or the other. Audra would be better off without him, and I say this as someone who's pretty meh on her at best. I will admit I'm intrigued by Sally/Audra friendship. I wonder if Audra will ever go after Adam now that she's befriended Sally? They don't seem to like one another (please god let it stay that way) so hopefully not. But it would very soapy for Audra to ruin the only friendship she has, by betraying her friend down the line. Heather is really planning on showing her face around CW like nothing is wrong? And then her & Daniel are gonna put the onus on Lily to be "the bigger person" and not make things awkward(because sure this is all her fault) yeah hell no.....where's that lunatic Daisy? She's got some work to do. And by work, I mean terrorizing Daniel & Heather. Fuck those people. Hell no to Kyle & Claire. That might actually be the worse pairing idea yet....they have negative chemistry. Of all the Abbott/Newman pairings this one is the biggest dud. I don't think Claire is a catch at this time in her life, but whatever good qualities she might have are still too good for Kyle. I do think her being Harrison's nanny is cool. Not cool because her quickie, convenient redemption arc makes logical or legal sense. But cool because they're both cut from the same unnecessary, rectonned soap kid cloth. I look forward to fast forwarding them both! Ashley's rectonned alter ego has yet to have a name but I nominate the naming her Accurate for the way she described Abby. 😁
  6. Monday & Tuesday episodes: I gotta say this insta acceptance of Claire is not hitting at all. Not even just because of the obvious bias towards Nikki's spawn, in this case grand-spawn, but because I will continue to stand 10 toes on the fact that this show did not need another Newman character. Not even her potential relationship with Adam is enough to intrigue me. Though it looks like that potential was crushed anyway when Claire outright said that Adam is not like the other Newmans. Claire is not ever going to be seen as an outsider the way he(or even Abby) are, so they'd have nothing to bond over as, unlike him, she will always be accepted. I kinda saw Josh making Adam look punitive for asking the right questions and not rolling out the red carpet for Claire coming. And I also saw her taking offense, and getting pissy with him just like her mother, grandparents, and uncle coming too. Just not this soon but again, Claire is an unnecessary addition to the cast. Yes the actress is good, but good acting rarely saves awful writing. Case in point, Elieen Davidson and Ashley's ridiculous, plot-induced DID disorder that's turned her into a unhinged stalker. ED can act her ass off or not, either way no one wants to see that. Michelle Stafford plays narcissistic hot mess better than anything else. They should lean into that instead of trying to force her half-assed, practically non-existent "I've changed" crap down our throats. No you haven't changed bitch. Danny said to your face that he didn't feelings for you, and yet you insist that you didn't imagine the "connection" between you two. Now you can't change because it's too hard?? I guess if continuing your trash behavior, and still having your nonsense be entertained is hard, I can't imagine what onscreen community service, or better yet prison and your children actually cutting you off would've been like. These aren't the words of a changed woman. Fuck off. ButtBiscuit has gone unchecked almost as long as Phylty or anyone else. I hate it for him that he was used to prop his rapist & her son that's none of his business. Instead of being involved with his own children who have a new sister, but he's still a self-righteous, jealous tool. He's gotten away with plenty, Summer revenge sex, trying to kill Adam, & being a petty/arrogant fuck up in general to name a few. So to that end, I have no problem with Chance sending that same energy back to his ass. Fine by me if Devon & Nate keep it going too, they might become tolerable again in the process. All I can say for Wednesdays ep is that Daniel sucks, Heather sucks, Lucy is on her way to being a nuisance. I guess nuisance is the best we can hope for her since she has Phyllis & Sheila Carter for grandmothers, a psycho bio mom, douchebag dad, and snake for an adoptive mother.
  7. Chelsea.....Adam is Connor's father. Normally, I'm not the "blood is thicker than water" kind of person but in this instance if useless, air depriving via his nostrils fuckboy can't do the bare minimum of keeping his unasked for opinions/comments to himself then he's the only one that needs to stay behind. Not both him and Adam. Also, this bitch was 2 seconds from ending her life last year....so why is she being propped as the semi-rational parent while Adam is hand-wringing, and being treated like wanting a second opinion is so out there? I can't even take 4 more days of this shit, let alone 4 years. Please someone fire Josh Griffith.
  8. It's hard to consider Ashley as being completely sane & manipluative not because she's not capable, she is. But that flashback of her car wreck/miscarriage and those voices in her head point to something else. When Ashley was being combative & bitchy towards Diane, it was obviously mean girls circa 2004 behavior. Not disturbed, & unsettled like now. The tone is completely different. If it's DID then JG is worse than I thought, Ashley already has PTSD from real trauma that happened to her. So just go with that instead of shoehorning a played out illness onto her. I cringed at Amanda glossing over Phyllis faking her death, and her lame girlboss slogans. She's clearly an instrument of the narrative since Phyllis is almost as propped as Victor & his spawn with Nikki are at this point. So naturally she can't be held accountable for a damn thing....not longer than 10 seconds anyway 🙄 Amanda wins points back for clocking ButtBiscuit's hating, condescending bullshit with Chance though. Gave a standing ovation for that 👏 I noted some anvils for Audra's backstory yesterday. Not a moment too soon because she's overdue for some genuine exposition as to why she is the way she is. I wonder if Ashley is gonna be the one to go digging in her past before Noah & Tucker? Or maybe she'll hire someone? Billy is such a short-sighted, hypocritical dumbass. Who is the flopcasting, failed to trick someone into libel(that's wasn't really libel), Jaboat inventor, embezzling fuck up to teach or tell Chance anything? Chance might arguably be better off taking business cues from Summer, as nightmarish as that sounds. The bar is in hell with ButtBiscuit anyway....It couldn't get worse. Mamie please stop talking. You started this "war" not Jill, even if she enlisted her dolt of a son, & is being obtuse about changing the company name, all that happened after you showed up. CW is a merged company that does not belong solely to either family. That was the whole stupid point!!! WTF is this garbage? Not one person from the Winters family ever asked for her help in maintaining it's legacy before. For good reason looks like. Off tangent but TPTB really missed the opportunity to get Amanda & Chance together. Imo Connor Floyd has more chemistry with Mishael Morgan in a scene where they're just passing by each other than he & Alison Lainey have on any of the outing/flirting their characters have done.
  9. I agree with her wardrobe & acting although she started out pretty lackluster, acting wise. I think it's likely because every other story is so deviod of spark ZS would have to be trying to be terrible not to shine right now. The character Adura herself is still swinging & missing for me though. (I might be alone at this table) Something about her character just will not settle or resonate with me. Other soap bad girls actually did bad things, moved the plot along. But it's like the show won't commit to that because TPTB are afraid people will hate her the way some viewers hate Phyllis, Nikki, Victoria, Chelsea & Summer, etc. So now I guess they're making Audra be the "heroine" to Ashley's crazy. Waste of talent on both ends imo. Audra is obviously selfish and opportunistic but that's not exactly special or rare in GC. She's not bad enough to hate nor good enough to care about/root for. Except in the most obvious of matchups where it was almost too easy to take her side re: Audra vs Nikki/Summer, Audra vs Nate, or Ashley vs Adura. <--But this is where I get off. Because sans Tucker, if it comes down to Audra or Ashley specifically, I'm pulling for Ashley crazy or not. I've been a fan of ED/Ashley ever since I started watching Y&R lol. With that said though, Ashley needs like at least 10 or more therapists to come out of whatever spell she's put on herself. I hope I'm not actually supposed to believe that Audra has been playing dirty longer than Ashley? Whose a whole grandmother. Either Audra is dating herself or Tucker has her unbelievably gassed up. I'll say this much, as laughable as some of it is, this the only intresting looking thing happening this week. Everything else is too stupid or boring to even mention.
  10. I'm so over Sally. If you "see the logic" in him not getting your hopes up first why are you spending energy on being upset? She gave him comfort over Connor, so I'll give her some credit for that I guess.... So now we enter into "This character gets on my nerves but they're kinda right & it makes me nauseous to say so" a second time this week, with Chloe saying it's a bad idea to work with Victor. Sally has been screwed over by them twice already, in slightly better circumstances. So why she wants to throw in with dysfunctional again is beyond me. Especially how upset she's been with Adam over trying to set it up for her. I, like Nikki, wishes that Jordan would just make a move and end this boring story already. I can see TPTB are ready to get Nikki's hands bloody again since they rectonned Diane's death, & they need to hurry the fuck up. I don't think I've ever been this bored with this character before, though I dislike her. I can't even get overly upset that Victor is running roughshod over her life, because that's how much I don't care. Then making Lauren babysit her as if she doesn't have a life busy enough of her own just takes the crap cake. Why is Connor having OCD being treated like he was diagnosed with Leukemia or something equally serious? Could the writers try to be compelling/realistic here? It feels like every other week they're trying to stick some social issue/disorder on this kid without onscreen build-up & definitely without doing adequate research. But given how botched Nikki's AA story this isn't a surprise. I feel bad for Connor, since if he really is OCD, a walking talking Nostril tagging along with his mother, is bound to trigger the poor guy.
  11. I honestly doubt they'd kill Tucker anytime soon because in all fairness, he's a legacy character too. He's Katherine Chancellor's son. As @Snaporazsuggested, a "who shot Tucker" SL might be more feasible. But if any show runner was lousy enough to kill him off, it would be Josh Griffith. So we'll just have to see. I always thought shoving Chancellor & Hamilton Winters together was stupid and doomed to fail, and it's fitting that it's being divided in a equally stupid manner. Chance, your uncle is making a mountain out of a molehill and he's not worth the loyalty. I wonder if Chance would feel as defensive of Billy if he knew that he once preyed on his new object of affection for revenge sex. Devon has a self-righteous, self-absorbed asshole streak like ButtBiscuit, so I get not comfortably taking his side. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Jill suddenly caring about (one of) her marriage names when the guy she got it from has been dead nearly 20 years is horseshit. As mentioned upthread, Chancellor is already in, Jill has Chancellor family. In fact her Chancellor son is older and much less of a fuck up than her Abbott son, so I'm surprised Chance isn't offended at her staunch Abbott declaration but whatever....While it didn't go unnoticed that she kept going by Jill Abbott, I figured that was her(the writers) being lazy. Or at most, nostalgia of better days from her marriage to John. It really shouldn't be this deep. Devon is wrong about alot of things, but not buckling to a rando name change because a grown toddler said so, ain't one of them. Sucks that Amanda was brought back to take up for Billy's annoying ass. Still good to see her though. Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. The less we see of whisper-gasp-her lines the better lmao
  12. Ashley needs to get a grip, I still don't 100% doubt Tucker is being shady simply because he was aware of her movements when she went to Paris, and after she came back. But even still, there has got to be a better way for Ashley to get back at him than pulling up on him and breaking into his hotel room. I mean I hope so. Outside of that I do like seeing Ashley put up a fight(not futility/stupidly against Diane) for a change. If Ashley's has lost her mind or is just playing back with Tucker he better watch himself. She looks like she's out of fucks to give about anything. Nate take your captain save a ho cape off it's 2024. Adura is a big girl and if she wants to change her mind barley 2 weeks after selling you a dream & shitting on Tucker to being in love with him again & paying you dust then have some dignity, take the L and shove your warnings up your ass. She didn't ask you. Even if Tucker is stringing her along(I'd say 50/50 chance) she obviously willing to risk it. So let her. I guess Sally learned how to say "thank you", or at least "thanks anyway but I'm good not working for your asshole dad", from the school of banana breath, neanderthal, dickwad because even while Adam was forward & foolishly ambitious with the pitch to Victor in the first place, the decision still would've been Sally's either way. So where does she get off acting put upon? Please get Adam away from her.
  13. Yeah pretty much....It's also jarring to see Thomas & Steffy wholly absent while their kid brother is essentially being bullied by their older cousin, when they've sunk their fangs into people over far less*. It would be smarter to have Zende has a problem with all of Ridge's children, and not just the one he has with Brooke. That would make for better drama, than the shit we have here. I don't care about R.J either, he went from being underutilized to shoved in our faces everyday in 2 seconds. However, unlike the more popular characters(his non-Logan relatives), so far he doesn't have a penchant for criminal activity, manipulative behavior, or being unnecessarily mean. His worse offense is being played by a.....not a great actor to put it midly. Which could've been done on purpose as not to risk upstaging Thomas/MA. But that's a can of worms I won't open right now. But for real, outside of that, what's to hate? *I don't root for Ridge or his taybrats on the best day, but in this case they'd be well within their right to exercise some of that impenetrable plot armor of theirs and use it for good. Because as of now, Zende's character would do well from a humble session or two. Viewers still talked about this shit show either way. Having Luna be drugged & then sexually assaulted by her boyfriend's cousin only changed how we're talking about it. If the ratings are that abysmal then like @hypnotoad said, how & why is having the 70th "misunderstanding" in a row the only way they could think to generate drama viewers would talk about? Wasn't the discourse/buzz of Thope was getting that job done anyway? Even for Bradley Bell logic this is trite, fucked up & not really worth defending(but different strokes & whatnot), because he's a hack. And assuming we aren't put out of our misery via cancelation first, he'll just pull this shit again because well...someone has to like it. Or so he thinks 🙄
  14. I couldn't remember myself, I had to look it up. All I could find is them being married after his coma(the one Abby put him in after running him over) in 2011(shit that was 13 years ago! Time really flies!) Tucker(both SEN/TSJ) & Ashley had potential, but the writers have shit on that throughly. My theory is that they split up so quickly is because JG knew that while Tucker & Ashley were married Devon & Abby would be step-siblings. And with all of Josh Griffith's flaws, he knows that the pseudo incestuous pairings is Bradley Bell's hat trick. So he back-peddled instead of breaking up Abby/Devon for now. Ashley is definitely on her way to another breakdown/mental hospital. I'm somewhat more interested in that than I am in this round of Drinki vs Jordan. I happen to like Eileen Davison's acting more than I like MTS acting.
  15. Seriously, that's all they do though lol who bts decided that this is a spoiler? 😂
  16. So she was somehow able to properly give consent because she didn't have 100% awareness that she was drugged?(as if she would that being her first time being exposed). Just because she didn't know doesn't mean Zende couldn't put 2 and 2 together to avoid making a "mistake" by getting in bed with his cousin's girlfriend. What you just described was not a consensual mistake. Nothing about that was a normal series of events made by a person in their right mind. Luna & Zende are both unreliable narrators. They can't be trusted to tell the truth as we saw it happen. Luna shares the same (incorrect) opinion out of fear & guilt. Not because it's true. Luna doesn't want to accept what happened for a variety of reasons & Zende likely doesn't want face consequences of his haphazard, thoughtless actions. Whether we like it or not sweeping this under the rug is not the way to go here. Also, not for nothing, Bradley is the one that wrote this. Created this scenario, and implicated Zende in this manner. Not calling that out just to spare Zende(a character no one, to my recollection, really cared about until he started shitting on R.J & creepily hounding his girlfriend as revenge), would be also be absolving Bradley for doing this shit yet again, and that's unacceptable. It's 2024, and if there was no excuse 40+ years ago pre #metoo then there definitely isn't any excuse now post #metoo. We as the audience are well within our rights to pass judgment on garbage, repetitive, misogynistic writing as we see fit.
  17. Yes, I think then Tucker was played by Stephen Earl Nichols(Patch and/or Stefan Cassadine for all the DOOL & GH MVPs in here 😎) he wasn't a bad Tucker McCall per se if I remember right, but TSJ has a better handle on the comic, sleuthing snake nature of the character imo Also, if Tucker is actually screwing with Ashley on purpose after being the one to help her with her mental state in the past is definitely a low blow. But with that said, this isn't a 100% bad way to villainize a character for a "good" one. After Ashland Locke, the dude that targeted Sharon(legit forgot his name), and now Jordan. The villains on the show are one note and are obviously only drummed up to give the "heroes" someone to effortlessly triumph over, beat up & pile on. Or in Adam's special case where he's perpetually the punching bag. Even with his villain streak long behind him. Tucker has layers, has a history with Ashley, and he's actually making gains in his moves against her(how ever tedious & drawn out they may be). Now, I do believe this is only happening because she's an Abbott and not a Newman. But it's still something I guess. And Victoria can go fuck herself. She's actually concerned about Victor using Claire & not totally accepting her into the family a whopping 5 minutes after discovering her existence? Can you say Adam you mop-headed, hypocritical bitch?
  18. It's a sad day when Phyllis & Nick sitting around validating untrue shit about each other is easier to stomach than the insomnia curing couples of Genoa City. Granted I fast-forwarded them too but somehow slightly less than I did other people that have been on last week & this week. Summer/Chance: Still a no for me but I've seen worse. Namely on the B&B so.....like i dont know....perspective and all that jazz. They're still a lame couple by the metric of this show tho. Daniel/Heather: Forced and shitty. Also it's intresting to me is that when Melissa Claire Egan was on maternity leave, TPTB gave her character some grace and plausible reasons to be gone. And Christel Khalil gets some contrived nonsense, about a school fire & a "traumatized" daughter, and her character gets cheated on & presumably dumped for a thirsty ex-wife. Nice show. Real nice. ButtBiscuit/Chelsea: usjsjsnsjsiaiaoiwjtfghhgsjsjsjsjs- aw damn! I fell asleep on the keyboard! I guess that's how fucking boring they are. Moving on. Nate/Adura(potentially? Future?): This version of Nate has no spark with anyone. It's just as hilarious as it is bizarre, but too bad OG Nate isn't still on. He passed Chem testing with Ashley and Victoria(which is not easy with her). So him getting with either of them while Adura decides to waste time with Tucker, would surely get under her skin. Tucker/Adura: I don't have anything bad or good to say about them, but I will say that for me, they win by default. The competition ain't exactly stiff right now. They're the equivalent of eating mediocre food when you're hungry. Like haven't eaten all day, wide open running errands since 7 a.m. kind of hungry. This Ashley/Tucker crap has actually pissed me off. It's taking too long to come to a head, like fucking end it already. There's really no one to root for but to play devils advocate, Ashley has been gaslit before. She doesn't have to be crazy(well she can be) just because it happens to be Tucker fucking with her this time. Although, she does herself no favors seeking his company even if it is just to drag him and Adura. I honestly got a chuckle at Ashley shitting on them, since she had smoke for Tucker's sleeze too. Plus, it's not like Adura has gone out of her way to be respectful to Ashley or any woman in GC not named Nikki or Victoria. I wonder why that is.......*Looks at the Newman dickriders in the writer's room* So if she can dish it, she can take it.
  19. I don't know if last week was a hotter mess than usual or that was just a side effect of not being able to see the show picked apart here. Either way, I couldn't be happier that's it's over! Last week: Adura really thought she was gonna be able to ass kiss the sanctimonious bitch right out of Nikki? Lmaooo but seriously of all the things to let her go for Nikki decided Adura's sympathy was a good enough reason, and not you know....fucking her granddaughter's husband before the divorce papers even got drawn up? Like obviously most don't care about Summer's fee fees getting hurt but the girl's own grandmother should be a different story. This week: I too also found myself (begrudgingly & shamefully) agreeing with Devon about Adura. Nate has proven hard-headed & arrogant. And if he's fully convinced that Adura needs saving from Tucker or she somehow gets her way & invites Nate onto Glade(or whatever the fuck stupid company for the stupid plot #73 is named) I can totally see him pissing everything away he complained so much, & so hard to get back over Adura, just like he did with Victoria. The man has learned nothing. I'm under the impression a modest, middle management, "mind my business" life is nothing Adura is interested in. That's why she's still stuck under Tucker, she's either looking for a come up as quick as possible or she's stupid(or playing stupid??). It's probably a little of both. Either way like most of the business SLs on this show, it's boring, contrived and I'm over it. I wonder if JG has someone read what we say here, and then intentionally mocks us with the writing. I'd say after over a year of throw something & hope it sticks corporate storylines, Tessa & Lauren leaving their own stable and better jobs to go work for characters that are leaving already sensible positions(Abby) or are in positions they aren't qualified for(Nikki) is the icing on the shitty cake but I know JG can, and will, do so much worse.
  20. Guess mileage varies with this one because Hillary (& later Amanda) were the last new comers on this show that I can remember that didn't immediately get on my last nerve or bore me to tears*. Aside from maybe Elena, and even she took a good while to finally grow on me. Now, Amanda was definitely pushing it with that dumb custody of Dom storyline for a minute but she got humbled for that after Dickvon cheated on her (again) with Abby. So I let that slide. But I'll admit I'm biased towards Mishael Morgan so I'm not being 100% objective here lol *With JG being the only writer left whatever redeeming qualities she had will probably vanish under this hack writing. Yeah let's not and say we did. 😭
  21. Ngl I would fast forward that too 😭😂 I know mileage varies but, I don't care about a long lost Newman kid adult and having her win that big 5 whole minutes after she got here would probably drive me nuts. Claire's existence is honestly infuriating because if JG wanted a new Newman that badly, then he could've and should've left Adam & Sally's baby alone. Not that I like them as a couple anymore but I could probably endure them being co-parents. Also Victoria already has a daughter that's also an Abbott. As tired as that angle might be, I'd take it over whatever the hell JG is gonna do with Claire. Because no one is allowed to step to Victor Newman. Not even his own children that he abuses(especially if that child is Adam). But even still, I don't know why Jack and his family have to be precived as easier targets. Kyle & Billy aren't much to be scared of sure. But I would think Jack & Ashley would've earned their stripes for going toe to toe with the Newmans for decades & still standing for the most part by now. If Victor isn't sweating someone like Tucker, then Jack shouldn't be either imo
  22. That'd be the best case scenario since I don't think I've ever seen a more sauceless, chemistryless couple aside from Sally/Nick and Billy/Chelsea. But to be fair, Fuckboys like ButtBiscuit & Banana Breath don't usually ever have chemistry with anyone. OTH Chance would be carrying a pairing with Summer on his back. Also is no one gonna point out that Chance is her aunt's ex-husband/cousin's father? Like lack of chemistry aside, that's kinda pushing it for even for a soap. "Chummer".....ugh even the pairing name is ugly. Can't this hack JG do anything right? Rhetorical question, I know he can't....
  23. Facts, and Hope's only certain of that because they were raised in Southern California and not Southern Mississippi and/or Alabama 🤠 For real, as much as Thomas deserves to get shit on, having Finn do it, & do it so fervently, when he couldn't even contemplate letting Sheila die in the ER is so forced. Doing it on Hope's behalf makes the plan to revitalize steam* even more transparent. *I've probably said this before but I'll say it again. If Steamless needs all this character assassination to bring it back from the grave that Stallion night put it in, then the pairing sucks even more than anyone realizes.... and I don't even think there is anyone asking for this. Like...as gross & overhyped Thope is...at least there's a sizable market for it 💀 Zende's behavior is starting to get on my last nerve. He's honestly making root for R.J's boring ass. Also, the fact that he's targeting R.J and not Thomas & Steffy who were also unqualified nepo babies given a chance(s) is not at all lost on me...
  24. ^^^This. Thorne has been done so incredibly dirty and for what? But that aside, I don't really mind Bill having a 4th kid so much that the 4th kid is Luna. I have no idea why Bradley is so afraid/unwilling to make Bill Kelly's father. He (or whoever was writing at the time) had no problem destroying Bridge by making Bridget Eric's kid, and Steamless is far more deserving of that particular torpedo than 90s era Bridge ever was. Also how could Bill have all that unprotected sex in the span of 2-3 decades(at the height of the aids epidemic at that!) and not catch an STD? Like geez this show.... I think what some people miss is that Thomas' crazy far predates Emma/Hope/Beth. Redeeming him was always an iffy, ambitious endeavor. But they still did it before MA was in the role. Bradley seems to enjoy yanking the chain of Thomas fans without letting those of us that dislike him have have any peace either. If Persion Fode was still Thomas, I might have less of an issue with the propping(though it'd still be annoying but that's Bradley for you). Mostly because that's what PF was used for already, and it actually worked! For far more people than MA seems to work for. Unpopular opinion perhaps...MA is good but he hardly lives up to the hype for me. He plays creepy, douchebag far too well to be a permanently convincing heartthrob. I honestly think(wishful thinking) Finn's dialouge was meant for Wyatt because that whole "you'll never be with Hope as long as I live" line was too weird, & too forced he doesn't even know Hope like that does he? Or at least not well enough to get THAT invested out of the blue. But with that said, there is absolutely no issue with him considering Thomas a danger in general. It's the same way Steffy rightfully regarded Sheila. But I have no doubt Miss infantilization/double standard will staunchly defend her position and her pycho brother. Even as she remains pensive over his relationship with Hope, because how he'll choose to act out when Hope decides she's done thinking with her crotch. Good job writers.....good job....
