By splitting this into two parts and delaying the drop, they are going to get massive leaks. And they deserve it.

I loved the projections. Yeah, Dominic was terrific. That sob, that was the only sound in the scene where the courtier tells them she's dead, was awesome. Yes, Charles had to shame them into allowing the plane. Elizabeth Debecki was off the hook.

So I'll freely admit that The Irishman downright pissed me off. Other than Joe's constrained performance I loathed it. Tough for me because I love Marty. Thank God for this one. At the moment I decided that it was getting a bit too long, it effing switched gears. I didn't know about some of the late arrivee actors, but was damned pleased to see them. Lily was transcendent. She was the ultimate of Scorcese's "less" performances. How she can hold the camera. Marvelous. Leo was such a dumbass. It was hard to want to watch such a complete and utter dumbass. He was great, I'm not complaining. Just what an amoral dumbass. And it is great to see DeNiro turn it ON. Devious bastard. Quite memorable. Didn't feel like 3 1/2 hours and I loved the coda because a certain actress had a line in it. I loved her when she said in Goodfellas "I can't go without my lucky hat!"

Bruce Greenwood's speech about lemons was everything. Instant classic. Extra special for Agents of Sheild fans. At least Camille had some world-class invective to hurl before her untimely demise. The monkey sounds over the closing credits was a creepy but funny addition.

Helena is what Indy was in Temple of Doom, in it for fortune and glory. But like Indy when push came to shove, her humanity rose to the top. She's his stand-in so to speak. He wanted to talk his son out of enlisting in the military, thus saving his life. But that was a foolish wish because he would never be able to talk Mutt out of anything. They were oil and water. Indy knew he was always powerless, even with a magical time machine it wouldn't have made a difference. Thus his depression.

Years ago my sister and brother and me went to a sneak screening of a soon-to-be-released film which we surmised was Spielberg's and Lucas' Indiana Jones film. Ohh we were so right. Midway through a gag, my sister anticipated the punchline so to speak, and in her delight, she screamed out "IT'S A COAT HANGER!!!!!!" A movie theater moment I will never forget. My brother is dead and my sister has had a stroke and will never see this film. I went to the theater alone this afternoon. So aged Indiana hit me particularly hard. And I loved it. It had all the hallmarks an Indy movie requires. The moving vehicle set pieces. So many damn Nazis. A likable kid. A feisty smart ass woman, And old friends. And snakes, okay well eels. Fabulous locations. What a terrific depiction of New York in '69. Excellent use of Magical Mystery Tour, cause all of them have been magical mystery tours. And his present life was so sad and drab and he was so out of place and lost. Yep, Sallah would have become a cab driver. And finally the time travel. I was so thrilled that it was time travel this excursion. I couldn't wait for it and it really measured up for me a history geek. For a moment I didn't like the ending. I did want Indy to stay in the past, I wanted him to become a piece of archeology himself. But then Marion showed up and I got the feels and yeah Indy should be there for her and she for him. Last but not least, Indy managed to destroy most of Hunter College's antiquity collection in one afternoon proving once again, that he is the most dangerous destructive archeologist EVAH!! PS: They tell us about Mutt in the first few minutes of the 1969 section. It's done visually.

Well if Bree and Roger come back in 1976. they come back during the Bicentennial celebration which went on ALL year. People dressed in Colonial garb would not have been out of place anywhere on the Eastern seaboard during 1976. I'm a woman of a certain age. If I landed in Ocracoke in 1976 with the right phone numbers remembered, I could be on a train to Boston the next day.

Basically no one knew Joe was obsessed with/screwing Marienne, except Marienne. So unless she comes forward that death goes unassociated with him. He was just a coworker as far as anyone else knew. No one knows he killed Benji, or Peach. Or that guy who thought he was Will Betelheim. They have who they think killed Bec. I'm pretty sure Ellie doesn't know he killed Henderson. Love killed Candace, Delilah and Natalie. And fucked up the neighborhood kid and the neighborhood guy who committed suicide in the cage. Paco is a loose end. He knows Joe has killed and where the body is. But he's probably not motivated to give him away. Dottie and her ex have a vendetta against him. But now they are outclassed financially by the Lockwood machine. Not many people floating around who have a motive or enough clout to take Joe down.

Except that after Joe buried the bodyguard he said that that would be the "last body I will bury." Then he goes to the bridge and throws Rhys over and then himself to kill them both. That doesn't sound like some one embracing their murderous side. I think only Rhys survived. That thing he said at the end about wanting to "be of service", that's a politician talking.

I'm on the fence about Kate. But I see her as a Ghislaine Maxwell character there at the end. An enabler to a monster. I do want to say that that wasn't Joe talking at the end, that was Rhys. They both went into the water but only Rhys came out. Does Kate even realize she's with Rhys? And will she object.

Nadia made a copy of his flat key I thought. Did she say she made a copy of the underground key? I'm confused about the keys, I thought the skeleton key was to the cage. Now I'm really confusing myself.

It wasn't in the house it was in the basement of the bakery, Love's bakery where she killed the neighbor. I don't think the one on in London is the same cage. I think he rebuilt it because it had a new lock system. After Cary and Sharri got out that one became a crime scene. Joe left with Quinn's money but nothing else. I can overlook the location in London cause it was super cool. As for the rest there's some memory loss here. After the disastrous sex party and once Sharri and Cary woke up only Quinn interacted with them in the cage. She gave them the gun and told them to choose. She hit the kid and tossed him down the stairs. She confessed out loud to killing the neighbor. Joe on the other hand saved the kid and took him to the hospital, Joe was found drugged on the floor of his own house. Joe has plausible deniability that he was the enabling husband covering up for his violent violent wife. Marienne ran so she never told anyone that she thought he killed her husband. She didn't want any involvement because of her kid. So I can accept it all. Now on to season four. I should know not to doubt these showrunners. I had little hope after the first five episodes, no cap of invisibility, no cage, no real insight in to rich Londoners. Nothing felt right. I did think Rhys was Joe's other, that seemed obvious. He never interacted with the others. And then finally the Cap Of Invisibility appeared!!!! And The Cage!!! I was back home again! Oh when Tom Lockwood defaced that first edition of Winston Churchill and Joe's book love ignited in a flame of burning hatred, I screamed in glee. So now Joe has found his calling, his resources, his enabler and his true love, himself. Absolutely chilling ending to the season and a fitting ending to the series if that is what it turns out to be. Loved, Loved, Loved, Pheobe. There's always one friend who is likable and redeemable. Was bothered forever by the fact that Nadia has nearly the same face as the actress who played Delilah (sans makeup). Very similar. Poor poor Nadia. She thought he was the student and she was the master of mystery but she so outmatched. Showrunner sure fooled me with the opening episodes and finished big.

Natalie had a fear of deep water and could not swim. She was wearing a long night gown and a long down filled coat when she was found. Yes, you can be weighted down by your heavy wet clothes. Have you never experienced wearing wet jeans?

Hell no. I think Greg is definitely involved. Just smart enough to not do the dirty work. I think this will all get swept under the rug by the police. Tanya's fingerprints are on the gun. The captain will testify she was a nut, and the presence of a mafiosa will make the police turn away from the case. Bad for the tourist business, isolated incident, damned foreigners.

Looks we need a bit of a primer on the Mafia. Sicily is where the Mafia originated. We're reminded of that when we're reminded of the Godfather when they visit the film location. The family was made Italian not because finding and reconnecting with them was important, rather it's a benign way of reminding us about Sicily's history with the Mafia. They are all over Sicily. The hole Jack talks about is the Mafia, He wasn't 'hired' so much as strong armed. Drugs or gambling. "These people are very powerful" He wasn't talking about Quentin and his friends. Quentin and all his friends are in debt to the Mafia. That's why they are so nervous. They must get the money or they will be made an example of. Quentin is at least trying to get Tanya to donate before he absolutely has to kill her. The guy who dove off the boat will not go to the police ever! "Hey officer I was involved in a plot to kill an heiress by a Mafia hit man. I'm a victim." Nope. He's gonna hide from the cops. Jack is trying to figure a way off the island. Very risky for him to spare Portia while stuck on Sicily. I got the sense from Season 1 that Tanya was a new heiress. She was there with her recently deceased mothers ashes. She was probably sheltered and that's why she wasn't good at managing her life. It was Roseanne Barr back in the 90's who joked about the GAY MAFIA. She was talking about the legions of gay admins, assistants, agents in Hollywood. The gate keepers. "And YOU are?"
