I really hope that the ending was a misdirect.

The "like" key isn't working and I really wanted to acknowledge this post. In many ways Zain is the worst. I find gaslighting particularly heinous. Removing a condom or stealthing is illegal in the UK and Canada--not surprised the US hasn't acted on this yet. This show is devastating and extraordinary. I absolutely love Michaela Coel and the story she's telling.

On the next printing/airing the title should be Little Karens Everywhere now that we're all better aware of what a microagression is. Reese Witherspoon is an amazing actress! This series is even better when viewed through the lens of what's been happening in the world recently and characterizing her behavior as "aggressive Karen".

I'm surprised this episode wasn't revisited considering the significance is better known now.

My heart broke when she realized she was assaulted. Good for her persisting to get the full story, or some semblance of it from Simon. He was acting very dodgy. I hope she doesn't have to deal with betrayal as well assault. Michaela Coel is going to take home a ton of awards for this show too.

I don't think Andrew and Molly broke up. I think next season we'll finally see her lawyer skills put to work in pleading her case to Andrew. I want Molly to catch herself before she falls. I still think there's hope for her 🤷‍♀️ I wonder if Amanda Seales' role was bigger and got cut. They never really cleared up what the rift was between her and the cast. I also wonder if Issa and Prentiss thought they were leaving enough breadcrumbs throughout the season so we would pick up that Tiff was in trouble. I really liked this episode. I liked that they touched on the various aspects of her life and the way she handles things now.

I think there's a difference with Lawrence--he's the injured party so I can understand his treading carefully and waiting for Issa to ask the difficult/awkward questions about where they are.

I love Michaela Coel. I'm all in on this. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Denise didn't even see little whozitz standing there. Did Dorit ask her to stop cussing? That's the point being made that everyone is ignoring. It's as if basic good manners is an unfamiliar concept. Erika makes it very clear that you should be on your best behavior around Tom so why is it not okay for Denise to set boundaries around her kids? Garcelle is my BITCH. These women are so accustomed to talking behind each others' backs they can't fathom being direct and mature in discussion. Woot turned my cable off think it'll be on one more week then I never have to see these bitches again!

It would be interesting to rewatch the show now that more people have been exposed to what being a "Karen" is and what systemic racism looks like.

Canceled my cable after watching Beverly Hills last night. After this shitshow I'm glad I did. What the hell? Someone mentioned that ratings were up but I find that hard to believe. The Newport resort was beautiful. I watch these shows for the vacations but the screeching, peeing and drunkenness has taken all the fun out of it.

I liked a glimpse of black hollywood. It's very rare that you get to see so many black women who are behind the scenes or adjacent in Hollywood. I wonder if people realize what a huge deal the movie she's doing is. Even with Covid it's probably going to do Black Panther numbers. Garcelle may not want to do this show after it comes out 🤣 *gasp* Not... Oh fuck her. She deserves every gaslight she gets from Dorit. She came in being an asshole now suffer the fucking consequences Karen.

I think on this one occasion throwing wine in someone's face would have been appropriate. Dorinda is awful, but it seems all the women treat Tinsley badly. I don't think it's just that she's significantly younger. Tinsley having a trust fund/family money really pisses them off.

Why put parental controls on your cable if you use curse words or have sex in your house? If your husband walks around the house in his boxers does that mean it's okay for a your friends' husbands to show up in their boxers? I'm actually happy Hastings is in trouble in the current season. He has a a problem with female officers. It's especially obvious in season 4. His treatment of Lindsey Denton in Season 2 ep 1 is subtle but it's there. He's a chauvinist twat. Seasons 2 and 3 are actually my favorite Line of Duty seasons. Regarding this episode the husband staring at Kate during his wife's funeral was disgusting.

Issa is messy for going behind Molly's back, but Molly's reaction was over the top and unnecessary. I don't think Molly wanted Issa to fail, but she was unsupportive and shitty throughout the planning of the block party. If you see your best friend floundering do you just let them sink or do you sit them down for a talk? If she was that concerned how come she never said "hey friend you need to start looking for a real job" or "hey friend do you need me to sponsor a couple therapy sessions with my shrink who I don't really tell anything"? My best friend and I live on opposite coasts he called me two weeks into quarantine and we talked for two hours--that's what best friends do, we check in with each other. Even if I agreed with Molly she was absolutely doing too much. Issa should have mentioned she went through Andrew to secure Vince Staples but it wasn't enough for an argument that could lead to blows? Kelli is my favorite character of all time. She's up there with Maxine Shaw. What's happening with Tiffany is interesting and I hope we get just a little more detail about how she's coping being a new mom.

As a matter of fact every outfit this episode was pretty awful. She's wearing a lot of wigs and falls, wonder why. I'll bet any expensive items Garcelle's sons wear, their Dad bought. I wonder where exactly she lives because she'd look good in a home like Cynthia Bailey's. I wonder if SoCal has mansions on the lake like you can find in NorCal.
