  1. Will put his integrity on the line when he flipped on his alliance. Which I have no problem with however don't then get all bent out of shape when someone dares to speculate on whether he was telling the whole truth or not. His torrent of personal abuse directed at Shirin was just disgusting. Clearly he used things she may have disclosed about her past and threw it back at her. I actually stupidly thought at the immunity challenge he was going to make a public apology to Shirin but no of course he didn't. So good on her for denying his letter from home, and while it may have been about revenge she didn't attack him personally she made it game related. The fact that he still didn't get it by tribal and tried to pass it off as telling the truth honestly makes me despise the man.
  2. I found this episode to be the most upsetting episode of Survivor i've ever seen. I have watched every episode from day 1. There have been some really horrid people over the years however I have to say Will's attack on Shirin was completely over line. Until this episode I haven't been too pleased with the idea of Mike winning but have to say after him standing up to Will and getting Shirin out of there I'd now be on board with a Mike win. Fabulous post! IMO this wasn't a battle between players this was a big guy screaming extremely nasty personal insults at another person, to standby and do nothing just makes them weak and complicit. Hopefully she has friends in high places at Google.
  3. A perfect ending to a great show. Loved the look on Raylan's face when the cop threatened to put him in the trunk. Again loved the grin when Art pulled over and gave Raylan his badge back. Tim O and Walton Goggins last scene was just magic and in a way what made this show so special. To me it felt you could just feel the genuine delight and real affection both actors had for each other in that scene. Must admit I gasped when Raylan got shot and glad Loretta saved him. Loads more i'm sure but have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was one of the most satisfying finales.
  4. Loved Shirin's response to Dan at tribal about Tony being a flipper. Would have loved to hear her list every season where the winner flipped and still won. Oh Dan what a truly horrendous twat he is. His speech to Shirin was just so deluded. Pity Shirin didn't turn around and say listen you dickwad your superior numbers mean shit because you better hope its a final 2 the only chance you have of winning is against Rodney and even thats doubtful, the look on his face would have been priceless! Heres hope Joe, Jen or Shirin can miraculously turn the tide on this game because at the moment its not looking good.
  5. After reading everyone's theories i've come to the conclusion like some others have that Mona is A and always has been. The dolls house is her elaborate little fantasy. Everything else the twin theory etc is all just red herrings. Charles if there is even a Charles is a minion just one of many.
  6. As an Aussie of a similar age to Ben Mendelssohn i've kind of grown up watching him and he's in some of my favourite aussie movies. In his younger years he was more the charming loveable larrikin. Animal Kingdom was a big departure for him playing such a baddie - it was quite jarring to be honest! But he did an awesome job. I think he does a great job in this show and well as a Friday Night Lights and Freaks and Geeks fan what a treat to have a cast with Ben, Kyle Chandler and Linda Cardellini, and to top that off we get Sam Shepherd and Sissy Spacek. For other Ben M movies - The Big Steel, The Year My Voice Broke and Idiot Box.
  7. Am sure I read somewhere that he was offered the role of Danny Zuko in Grease before John Travolta but turned it down for the fear of being type cast - I guess he didn't realise he already was. Ron Howard will always be Richie Cunningham to me.
  8. He's lovely. My 2 cats are Orientals and they 2 follow me around everywhere. They greet me when I come home as soon as they hear me coming down the steps they are at the window and then move to the door by the time I get in.
  9. I loved that Buffy episode. I honestly though it was exceptional and loved the idea of it.
  10. Just watched this movie and have to say I loved it.

    S05.E08: Coda

Yep i'm a sap too sobbed like a baby! Beth wasn't my favourite character to be honest I was pretty indifferent to her the majority of the time but she's been there a while now so she's become part of the family and its sad when one dies. Something i've noticed that I think is a nice touch is each group they encounter have a different name for the Zombies. For Rick's group its Walkers, the Governors it was Biters and for Dawn's the Rotters yet no one calls them Zombies.
  12. Nope take it from an Aussie living in the UK the accents definitely British.
  13. Season 1 villain in Veronica Mars Aaron Eckles and of course Lisa R was his wife Lyn!
  14. Ha ha Harry is very big but Eliza is quite little about half his size - she's tall but very petite. Not sure if you know about Orientals but they are basically just coloured Siamese, often one of the parents will be Siamese and one oriental so you get both Siamese and Orientals in the litter. Oh yeah I love their massive ears! I will see if I can post another photo later so you can see their size difference.
  15. Yeah I read some stuff on her too and would really like to read the follow up am hoping they do an English print run at some point. Did you ever see the film - its actually pretty good. Theres also some interesting stuff about that as they actually filmed it in Zoo station and from what I remember some of the extras were actually people hanging out around the area.
  16. Yeah their colour is lovely and although I call them beasts they are adorable and very smoochy little things.
  17. I loved this episode! I must admit I do tend to enjoy the META's but I absolutely loath musicals - that said I did love the Buffy musical episode. Loved Dean in this episode and yep like many a squealed like a fangirl when I saw Chuck - hadn't seen any spoilers but the minute she ran up the stairs I knew/hoped it was Chuck.
  18. I've read this book, I was probably about the same age as you when I read this book I first heard about it because of the movie. Again like you I read it again probably 10yrs ago - I managed to find a copy on amazon i think. I also got the dvd interesting very sad story. I think it possibly had an influence in my interest in drugs and played a part in my career choice of being a drug and alcohol counsellor specifically working with young people for many years.
  19. My 2 beasts Harry and Eliza Harry's a long haired chocolate tabby Oriental and Eliza is a Havana Oriental (I think in the US they are just called Chocolate orientals) [/url]">http://http://imgur.com/RKVAMbW'>
  20. Am sure Jamie and Pee Gee went through James' bag in China and discovered he had the idols. Also am sure I have read somewhere that Jeff was really pissed about Naonka and Kelly being able to serve on the jury and that the rules have been changed now so that won't happen again. - Not 100% on that someone with better knowledge might be able to confirm or deny this.
  21. So glad someone else saw this, as soon as I saw the guy I was thinking exactly the same thing!
  22. Actually that would be another prawn - Aussies don't say shrimp
  23. Didn't Natalie kill a rat in Samoa I'm sure i remember that.
  24. I had a similar thing very bad sprain while out bush walking (Australia) had to walk for about an hour on it back to the farmhouse by that time it was literally black and huge! Was on crutches for sometime with that one and its never be the same since doesn't take much to sprain it ever since.
  25. When discussing it they mentioned Julie and another girl - can't remember the name but it looked to me they were the 2 smallest females hence why Julie was chosen.
