  1. Lexie is one of the few characters on television who I liked all the people they paired her up with romantically all for different reasons. I liked her with Karev because he brought out the outspoken side of Lexie and actually called him on his crap. I knew they wouldn't last for obvious reasons, but I love outspoken Lexie. I thought her and Jackson had great chemistry. I liked the side she brought out of Mark when they were together. I hated how mean Mark after he found out she slept with Karev and I hated how he would act as if she were his property at the end of season 7.
  2. Does anyone find it interesting how both the classic and TNG versions both started off with with a sibling/step-sibling pair and by a couple seasons in both cases they both went to the wayside.
  3. True or if Heigl and Shonda work threw their issues we will have with that special episode of Izzie showing up at the house looking for Meredith and Jo answering the door. I do wonder though if Izzie would have been given a better exit if Heigl had decided to return to her slated episodes. I feel that the only reason Cristina made it out alive is because Shonda had to prove to the TV critics she can actually write out a character without killing them on Grey's. Does anyone else find it strange all of Derek's students he has mentored have died? I mean he is this hotshot neurosurgeon and every other attending has mentored someone even Sloan! The only students he has really mentored are Meredith ( I don't consider it a mentor/mentee relationship because if him and Meredith hadn't been together I don't think she would of gone into Neuro. Both Lexie/Brooks both died. I think they should of kept April in Neuro I have always felt her and Hunt's relationship was forced. I completely agree with this they should of killed Sofia off and have Sloan leave because of that. The plane crash in my opinion, is what made this show downhill. Season 9 was so depressing and heavy not light and dramatic which is why I enjoy Grey's. They pretty much ruined every character in that storyline. The only thing I enjoyed was Avery growing some balls and Lizzie visiting.
  4. The only issue with Mark moving to New York is that he would have been across the country from Sofia. Granted the whole Sofia storyline is my least favorite ever tied with ghost sex! But after he spent a whole season wanting a child it would not have made sense to see him move back to New York with Lexie. I think the hardest part about watching the reruns is how Izzie and Alex would of been endgame if Heigl stayed on the show. After seeing Alex with Jo it really shows how wrong Izzie and Alex were as a couple. Also, I don't understand the Izzie and Jo comparisons if anything Jo sort of reminds me of a combo of Meredith/Cristina. If any of the interns remind me of Izzie it is Stephanie. Does Jo know that Alex was married? I really wish Cristina and Jackson had been a couple they were hot together!
  5. I think she rocked the second half of the cancer storyline. I think she should have been given an Emmy just for the ghost sex and the stupid deer episode. I cannot stand Heigl, but I think she brought a lot to Grey's with her perfect comic timing. I really wish they had Addison mentor Izzie after the Quint case. I think both actresses really play well off each other. I really wished Heigl came back for the end of season 6.
  6. Season 3 of The OC is still depressing even though its been years. The only season I cannot watch a repeat from.
  7. I never liked Owen, I don't know if it is Keven McKidd's acting, but he has always been way to intense for me to enjoy. I do feel the witters ruined Arizona and Izzie. I also figured out why I don't like Callie, it is the reason I did not like Izzie seasons 2-4. They put Callie in almost every storyline.
  8. I read recently Miriam McDonald said she was anorexic during the first couple of seasons of Degrasssi. I think she posted it on her instagram account. I wonder if the writers knew since Emma had the anorexic episodes in season 5.
  9. I think Degrassi did a good job with Marco's coming out storyline. The scene were Jimmy finds Marco after being Gay bashed still makes me tear up to this day. The big issue was in the later seasons all of his story lines revolved around his boyfriend dictating his happiness.
  10. Hasn't Shonda said in the past she most identifies with Cristina?
  11. Peyton Sawyer was my favorite female on One Tree Hill. I also, could not stand Brooke Davis and never bought the Peyton/Brooke friendship or the Haley/Brooke friendship. I preferred Peyton with Lucas. I always felt Lucas and Brooke were only together because CMM and Sophia started dating, married and divorced. And the Mark Schwan only kept them together to prove a point.
  12. Only on TV does a high schooler apply to one college.
  13. I think the reason why I really like Alex & Jo together is because we saw why they are attracted to each other. We saw the friendship and their relationship develop. Grey's has always done the opposite have people hook up and figure out the relationship stuff later. (i.e MerDer, Calzona and Crownen).
  14. Only on TV do teenagers hang out at "teen clubs" and well-known bands play at them.
  15. Glad I'm not the only one. I have been doing a rewatch and I forgot how addictive the early seasons are even though I know what happens.
  16. I cannot stand Tori Spelling and have not watched any of her reality shows, but I liked Donna Martin and besides Brenda is one of my favorite 90210 characters. Mostly because she was a good friend most of the time to the other characters and even though she should of hated Val she still gave her a chance. I still enjoy Grey's even though it not as good as it was the first couple of seasons. I still find myself entertained by it and I do enjoy some of the characters.
  17. I've entered the later seasons in my re-watch. I think a huge problem with the show is that in the beginning seasons it was dramedy. In the later, seasons it looses the comedy. I think part of that iis the fact it looses Izzie, George and then tries to give Mark more serious story lines. It really brings down the show.
  18. I've been doing a re-watch . I don't really see the Izzie and Jo comparisons besides the fact they are both involved with Alex. I feel like in the later seasons Izzie would not call Alex on his crap she would just treat him the same way. While Jo sticks up for herself and call him on his crap. Also, at the end of the episode were Alex's dad died and Jo comes in to comfort Alex after they had their big fight. I could never see Izzie doing that, if the same fight happened between Izzie and Alex it would of lasted for the next 5 episodes.
  19. I agree with Peter getting non-pretty. I think it was the hair. The Ellie thing sort of made sense to me since she was a goth her freshman year in high school it made sense that she would eventually grow out of it. I just hated they almost made her a clone of Stacey Farber.
  20. Plus Derek seemed pretty dismissive of Lizzie. He did not want her involved at all with donating a nerve for someone who is such a family guy Derek's behavior towards Amy and Lizzie never made any sense to me. I know they explained how he wanted to protect Amy, but even in the episodes they interacted after he was still treating her the same. I could understand Nancy since she was all pro-Addison & Mark.
  21. I always felt they did not give Toby a meaty storyline because the actor was not that great. The guy who played him was not awful, but there were some instances for example when Liberty comes over to the group at the hospital to find out the status of JT the way he just plops a hug on her really takes me out of the scene. Speaking of Toby I hate the way he brought up JT to Liberty at the Prom/Graduation episode. I watched that episode recently and I wanted to slap him.
  22. Thanks I thought that was what happened, but for some reason I thought I was either making it up in my head or confusing it with another show. I always thought it was strange that Patch & Rose were not all that close with the Harts, I wonder if it would have been different if Bright was not involved with the accident. I know it sounds silly, since the second half of season 1 Colin brought everyone together, but after it being years since seeing season 1 I completely forgot about that. If we had season 5 we would of been dealing with Ephram and four different girls I learned to love Ephram after all these years, but no way would four different girls be wanting his affections and Hannah winning out. I did actually like his fling with Stephanie it was nice to see him with a girl without all the angst Amy and Madison brought. I think it's great Emily, Chris, Gregory and Sarah have all done pretty well for themselves since the series ended.
  23. I found some old DVDs I recorded during the syndication run on ABC Family. I forgot about Laynie telling Amy Patch prescribed her Zolaft. Does anyone remember how the Hart family leaves the show? I forget do they show up later? I tried googling and did not find anything it's been bugging me since I usually remember these details. All I remember is when Amy was at the party with Tommy she did drank some kind of drug and it made her hallucinate Colin.
  24. The whole Amelia story bugs me only because of her relaspe a couple years ago. Do Derek and Meredith even know about it? If they do, I kind of hate they are putting all this pressure on her. I have no idea why Arizona and Callie will not adopt. I was happy Callie brought up the miscarriage becuase I completley agree with her if anything goes wrong it would break Arizona.
  25. I recently watched some old episodes of TNG and a couple things stood out. 1) Manny was the best developed character and she was a really great friend to her classmates and Darcy. 2) Paige's shorthand lingo gets really bad in her later seasons and its gets even more grating when Alex develops it too. 3) They really should have fleshed out Marco's character arc in college and made him suffer depression. It would have made sense after the gambling and gay prostitution epiosdes. Plus it would have been interesting to see how Ellie and Paige would of have dealt with it since Marco was pretty much always there for them.
