I don’t mind them reusing home sets but the set should fit the character. Why would Curtis/Portia be looking to move into a mansion? Reminds me of Anna’s gigantic place and Maxie still living in her tiny early 20s apt. I prefer the sets that are meant to regular homes because the current “mansions” give me a sterile vibe anyway. Also, was it just me or were Sonny and Jordan flirting?

I feel mean for saying this but EM is a very limited actress and they should have learned after the Oscar SL that she can’t lead a SL. She was painful today and it’s just starting. I don’t get where they are going with Brando/Sasha. They’re so isolated. Normally I would think that they have Brando living in denial about her problem while everyone around him has to clue him in to how in trouble she’s in but who else would even notice?

It’s debatable. I recall that SL where Liz was the surrogate for Courtney and Jax’s baby during their 5 second marriage. Despite the fact that the baby was her idea, she wanted nothing to do with the pregnancy/future baby once she banged Nikolas and left Jax for him.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue

FWIW it sounds like they were willing to work around SM’s school schedule but she wanted to focus on school instead. Short of only having her pop up for the occasional guest appearances taped when she’s on a break, what could they do? It’s pretty demanding to do both and she might still be pursuing other gigs since she was steadily working outside of GH while in high school. Even a short taping day would be a couple hours, then throw in the commute in LA traffic. -
Courtney was Carly’s only female friend. However, the friendship existed under TB’s Carly, not LW’s. LW only came on 3 months before Courtney died and I think that was around the time that she disappeared because of Helena so they hardly interacted. TB’s Carly was nowhere near as Jason obsessed as this Carly is so the friendship was semi-believable because she was pretty much the only woman in town she didn’t have to worry about banging Sonny. I don’t buy that LW’s Carly would have ever been friends with Courtney with the way she is written. Not when she was involved with Jason especially.

So the show couldn’t be bothered to do an Alan tribute episode for SD but we can spend most of an episode talking about Courtney, who was one of the most hated characters until the advent of Peter? Not to mention that she died 16 years ago and this isn’t even the anniversary of her death. I’ll give a pass to Spencer, up until his ridiculous request to break out of prison in the middle of a 30 day sentence to put flowers on her grave, but the rest was an excuse for Sonny and Carly to eat up airtime when they have nothing going on. Brasha might as well be on another show. The teens were good today as well as whatever is going on with Victor but that’s all I got.

No official confirmation yet but it’s all over Twitter that Sydney Mikayla left to focus on school and Trina was recast. -

I think he got the short end of the stick because they always want to make Liz’s SO the kids new daddy and take the lazy route with them not having their father in their lives. Jax was out of the country for the most of Josslyn’s childhood and they didn’t make him sound like a deadbeat. Same with Molly and Ric. It would have just as easy to say Liz’s kids were spending time with him the many times they were offscreen but they didn’t bother. -
Has Sam even been shown to be good at this? I rag on her playing fake cop but even when they showcase her, she comes off like a liability. She’s consistently terrible at interrogations. Today she reminded me of the time she went to Harmony for help with finding Drew and Harmony walked away from her because she was being a huge bitch. Sante only got the info they needed after Alexis stepped in and talked to Harmony. The extent of her “PI skills” are calling Spinelli and playing dress up and breaking into places.
-
Lol they’re pretending like she’s a PI when no one is hiring her for these investigations
-
Reminds me that she made that comment last week about Michael being raised in 2 stable families (can’t remember the exact wording) when his own childhood was a disaster and his family was far from stable or normal. Even what little he’s told her onscreen has completely contradicted that. She has serious blinders on.
-
Maybe an UO but i found those Sam/Dante scenes a little cringey. It was just a repeat of him helping her with baseball and in both instances, she was all of a sudden helpless and needed a big, strong man to teach her when she could do both activities before.
-
Yeah, Peter sold it to some group and Shawn bought it with his blackmail money. Alexis runs it

The “renovated” Gatehouse is another repurposed safe house set. I think Jason was using it before and they were keeping Kristina there during that DOD SL for her exit therapy.
-
While I hope they don’t because the current crop of teens already bore me, they could bring back Emma who I think is the same age as this Jake. However, I think the actress is pretty wooden and was better as a kid then a teen judging by her last few appearances. Otherwise, there’s no one unless they soras some of the younger girls.

Grandparents rights are notoriously hard to get but there’s specific conditions behind it and reason why people go to court for them. I think the most common reason is that the parent loses custody and it’s their way of maintaining some relationship with the child when someone other than the parent has primary custody over them. In Nina’s case, it would be more because Wiley’s biological mom is dead and there’s an assumption that she would have had a relationship with Wiley had Nelle been alive, which is questionable since we don’t know if Nelle and Nina would have been close. I actually think her trying to get grandparent’s rights as Willow’s mother over her wishes would have been a significantly harder case to win because they would normally go by the parent’s wishes if they are both fit.

They’re pretty weird about showing people at home even for those that have established places. The only home sets that we consistently see are the Q mansion and Greystone. I actually think Alexis’ house might be third considering how often they show it with how little she’s on though but she’s been in her office for the last month. Every other home or apt set is only seen once in a blue moon and there’s almost always some plot purpose behind why they’re there. While I’m sure it’s due to the way they shoot things (they’d have to tape multiple scenes in a set to make putting it up worthwhile), it’s noticeable.

NuJordan is gorgeous and superficially, I’m glad they cast another tall woman. There was a period in the 2000s when almost every woman they cast was 5’2” or under, which irked me because I always felt like they did that because MB and SBu are vertically challenged and god forbid, they not look like big strong men next to the women. Judging from the previews, I guess the whole town will have scenes at this ax throwing place? They really know how to run a new set into the ground. First everyone is suddenly hanging out at the pool, next yoga, and now ax throwing. Also, should Dante be sharing his police investigation info with Sam? Seems like it should be confidential and why does she need to involve herself in this investigation? She’s not a cop no matter how much they like to pretend she is. I’d much rather they give Chase his badge back so Dante has an actual partner.

The spoilers that are out for the first couple weeks of March highly suggest that it’s Jake behind what’s happening to Liz. I find it disappointing if that’s the case and almost wish it was DID instead. Jake gaslighting his mom for wanting to date someone else is unbelievably cruel. -
Those ax throwing places were trendy around 3-4 years ago where I live. I went once for a team building activity and found it kind of boring tbh. It’s just a less fun version of darts. I did find it funny that the actresses were using the baby axes that are meant for children.

I missed the Sam/Drew scene but saw in a recap that Jax sold his half of Aurora. Did they say who he sold it to or does Drew have it back? I was also a little confused on why he was asking Sam about working at Aurora. I thought she only had control over his half because he left it to Scout when he died and Jax owned the other portion. Wasn’t the whole scene where she put Michael in charge about how she didn’t want to oversee Aurora but didn’t want to sell it to Jax because it was Scout’s legacy? As if there would have been a successful company left in 16+ years for Scout when no one was overseeing the operations but I digress

If the rumors are true, LW and MB have pushed back on SLs that make their characters look bad or in the wrong so I don’t think they want to lose even though it would be a more interesting story to play. Also, pretty much everything LW has pitched as her dream SLs for Carly happened last year with the exception of rectonning Michael’s paternity. MB also loved Mike and the NF storyline. I don’t think what the actors want to play and what interests us aligns very well.

The Chase/Michael friendship is so not believable at this point and I wished they gave up on it. Let Chase be friends with TJ and Brando who while barely on, at least don’t seem like complete assholes. Michael is horrible and never feels guilty for anything he does wrong so I don’t get why Chase is stuck putting up with him. Carly’s kid are as terrible at friendships as she is.
-
I get that they’re revisiting the Nina/Willow feud because they changed the Nina’s daughter storyline yet again and are (poorly) ripping off the Sam/Alexis one. However, Willow could have just as easily been angry at Nina for legitimate reasons that didn’t make her sound like a hypocrite. Nina was obnoxious during the bullying storyline and cost Willow her job out of spite. But no, instead adultery is the new evil that somehow only impacts Nina since Sonny, Carly and Millow themselves are cheaters. Willow doesn’t have a leg to stand on when it comes to moral grandparents as long as Carly and Sonny are part of that kid’s lives anyway. Didn’t Carly take over the mob and kidnap an elderly woman with dementia not long before attending Wiley’s last birthday party?
-
I think I might hate Willow more than Carly. Judging Nina for sleeping with a separated Sonny but when she skipped out of her son’s bday party to sleep with Michael while she was married wasn’t an issue? Also, Willow and Michael leveraging access to Wiley and using it as a punishment will forever be gross and I hate like they act like those 2 are amazing parents when everything points to the opposite.
