While I wish that there were more hospital-related storylines, I don’t feel the need for TPTB to keep characters who happen to be doctors, especially when you hardly see them working (i.e. Kim and Finn).

I have a hard time believing that they still think he’s capable of being a romantic lead since they’ve paired him with at least 6 or 7 different women and the only one he’s maybe had any chemistry with was Abby. I think the only reason he’s even with Sasha now is that Chase and Willow ended up being a lot more popular than they predicted so they backed off a bit from their love triangle.

Same here. I didn’t mind it when it was Ric and Alexis or Robin and Patrick because at least their bickering was somewhat entertaining but Joss and Dev are just annoying me right now. It probably doesn’t help that it seems way too soon to give Joss another love interest and what will probably be a love triangle since she’s still crying over Oscar. I thought they were going to go a different route with having Cam move on with Trina and Joss becoming interested in him after she has some time to get over Oscar but I guess since she’s Carly’s daughter, she’s always going to be in the center of everything

I think the actors were actually chem tested before Neil was cast which is why they work together for me a lot better than a lot of what we’re seeing onscreen right now, ethical issues aside

I’m pretty sure they just did that with Jax because Sonny was the reason he couldn’t be in town, first with trying to kill him and then getting him kicked out of the country.

I figured it was something like LLC where they like the actress despite having no interest in giving them a real story. But it’s strange that they left her on contract for what she’s been doing. I know the actress came from Y&R but it doesn’t seem like they’re in danger of her going back

Oh right, didn’t Sonny take out a hit on Jason during that time? I think we’re past the point of Sonny being seen as bad by anyone in his life. It’s been years since we’ve heard Kristina or Michael go after him and they’ve both really angry at him in the past. If his own kids aren’t going to be critical after all they’ve went through, I doubt we’re going to hear anything from Cam or Joss. Even if Joss found out about all that, they’d probably find a way to place the blame on Jax anyway. Hell, during that whole custody storyline, I don’t think anyone was really on Jax’s side until Sonny sabotaged his plane

I definitely see more chemistry with those 2 and think they should have more scenes together but I think they seemed a little awkward when they tried to date last year and come off a lot better as friends. Honestly I think both actors have trouble with romantic pairings as their current characters anyway. The only one of Alexis’ pairings that I bought was with Ned the first time around but I think NLG is one of the better actors when it comes to selling friendships

I’m actually surprised it took them so long. I thought they were building up to a Cassadine-related storyline last year with Alexis mother’s watch. Nik has a lot of connections to the current cast, especially with Laura and Hayden back and it would give Valentin something besides Nina. I also think they had to retcon Valentin killing Nikolas if they really plan on having Valentin stick around as anything but a generic villain

It’s weird that they are playing it this way but I guess it makes sense that he’s not walking away. Aside from Ava and (I’m guessing) Leo, he really doesn’t have anyone else in his life since Sam doesn’t want anything to do with him and whatever little relationship he has with Lucas will probably be done once he finds out Julian knew about the baby switch. I’m not how long they can keep Julian around in this state. If he stays out of the mob, people probably need to move on so he can get some friends or at least someone else to interact with who isn’t angry at him. If they want everyone to keep treating him like a villain, they might as well put him back in the mob so he has something to do

Yeah although I cant tell if it’s Nik or Jerry who they are trying to bring back because they’ve had too many random mentions for it to be a coincidence

I think he’s free since Brandon Barash replaced him on Days but they might not want to risk bringing him back with his rumored substance abuse issues. I would rather they bring him back than recast Nik again

Unlike most people, I don’t mind NB but he doesn’t fit on the current canvas. I have a feeling that he was supposed to be part of this teen scene but he looks a little younger than his actual age so the age gap looks like more than 2 years. In that one scene that he shared with Joss where she was asking for his advice, she looked like his babysitter rather than a friend. Although EM usually looks older than 16 to me so that probably doesn’t help. Honestly I think she looks older than the 20 something actresses who are currently on the show most of the time. Unless they are trying to keep him around for when the next group of kids are SORASed, I don’t see the point since all he has right now is this “fued” with Valentin.

Could you imagine if Sam and Sonny’s daughter had lived? She would have been a sister/niece to Kristina, cousin/niece to Molly, sister/cousin to Avery, and a cousin to Spencer through both parents

If Alexis was Oscar's lawyer, wasn't she the one who drafted the will? Why would she be surprised?

I still don’t get how the ELQ stocks work. The stocks seem to get redistributed anytime a new Q comes out of the woodwork but they are still allowed to sell or pass along their shares to someone else?

No Jax was raped by Irina, who was involved with Jerry. I think Jerry ended up killing her. But yeah, the show handled that storyline horribly. Either Sonny or Jason thought Jax getting raped by a woman was funny and Carly was acting like Jax cheated on her. Actually I think that makes me even more angry about the Kim/Drew storyline because we know it’s not going to treated as seriously as if the genders were reversed.

When was the last time there was a big event where Sonny, Carly, Jason, or Sam weren’t present?

I’m so confused by what they’re doing to her character.

If it was deliberate, would Double Jeopardy apply? I can’t remember what she was charged with but I don’t think it applies to greater charges so they might have been able to go after her for something else

I assume Julian is there with Kim but yeah, I don’t know half of them would be there

I wonder why they went this route with having Sam want children so badly and now never spending time with them. At least with most of the other mothers on the show with off screen kids, we saw them at work or they weren't on screen as much and we could assume that they were with them on the other days. This still seems strange to me.

Lol I guess it's cute that Mac and Robert are the Police Commissioner and DA? Other than that, yeah it makes no sense. But I guess PC DA is a thankless job and there were no better options. Diane's never going to take on that kind of role and Scott and Alexis have too many ethical issues to take it back on. Although I think Scott may have been the interim DA a while back so what do I know? This show really needs more lawyers

I thought the same thing when this first came out. There had to be someone on their team who could have predicted the backlash with the name

I'm sure they were angry that they didn't get public sympathy but not including it didn't seem to be an option since at the end of the day, they want ratings and this was pretty much the only "real" storyline they had all season. Without this, people wouldn't be talking about them at all.
