  1. Wahooo! That means this is likely headed to court! What flavor of popcorn does everyone want?
  2. Agreed with the coaches choices in each of the battles shown. Wish that Ivonne Acero had chosen Gwen though instead of Blake. She was pretty pitchy throughout her portion of the battle and I was saying "don't press the button, Blake!" That being said, I'm not sure why Gwen thought Ivonne was steal-worthy either and I seriously question her judgment if she was one of the singers she had her eye on and thought was special enough to steal.
  3. Occasionally they'll air Carson saying "So-and-so is available to steal..." followed by the crickets of the other three judges basically sitting on their hands. It's a pretty awkward, uncomfortable moment so I don't mind the producers editing that down to basically the thank yous from the singers going home.
  4. I can't say I'd be comfortable with my 14-yr old niece wearing a dress like that, even if there is clearly illusion fabric covering that middle section from the collarbone down to the navel. Then again, if she was a figure skater, none of us would bat an eye at her dress if she was wearing it on the ice for a competition or show. I don't think it's really "slutty" or "trashy". Perhaps the better word would be "suggestive". I bet most of us would be a lot more comfortable with the dress if there were some crystals or sequins scattered over the part that's illusion fabric, because that would help reduce the suggestiveness of nudity you get from the dress in its current state. Personally, I have more of an issue with the skirt length than I do with the illusion fabric. A couple inches longer, please.
  5. I noticed that too! All that Muzz Khan said on his Twitter was he had landed a semi-regular role. Going off of last season, the semi-regulars who had storylines and/or songs were the King & Queen of Valencia, Kingsley, Jester Steve, Chef Vincenzo, and Gwynne. Chef was in all 8 episodes, Izzy's parents & Jester were in 7 episodes, and Kingsley & Gwynne were in 3 episodes. Best guess for Khan's character is anything above 4 episodes, I'm thinking, since he definitely has a sizable recurring role.
  6. Frankly, I'm not that big of a fan of Kacey Musgraves. She's not really all that country, not even alt-country, to be honest. I do like Maddie & Tae and I hope they'll have more success. I just listened to the new songs from Cassadee and Danielle. Neither of them are going to go anywhere on current country radio. Danielle's song is obnoxious and just plain bad. Cassadee's is much better and I like it well enough but it's not interesting enough to get any traction.
  7. Yes, but she would have done better had she not had Adam for her coach. I loved Amber during that season in spite of Adam's inability to let her really settle into her desired country wheelhouse. I'm just praying that Shelby gets picked up by one of the other coaches, any of the other coaches, during the Battle Rounds or Knockouts.
  8. Dare we hope for a cleaned up version of this in S2? Or something clearly in the same vein?
  9. Isn't that a great picture of Gareth wearing a crown? For some reason, I didn't make the leap to Gareth becoming King of Valencia when Madalena told him he had gotten a promotion in the season finale. It makes sense and I'm definitely interested in the Madalena/Gareth/Sid dynamic. There was a tweet last week from Kat Likkel in response to a fan question to Karen David & Mallory Jansen asking who would win in a battle between Isabella and Madalena that makes me think we're going to see something along those lines next season. I cannot begin to express how excited it makes me to imagine Isabella going toe to toe with Madalena to regain her father's kingdom and her rightful inheritance.
  10. I want to echo what several others have said already in wrapping up this season's Live Feed Discussion. I don't watch the feeds but I avidly follow this thread and enjoy the discussions immensely. This season has been so great compared to the last two and I'll miss checking in a couple times a day. Can't wait until next June when we start up again but for now... Thank you, everyone!
  11. Definitely very rainy for them this year. The scenery reminds me of Oregon except that the castles would be replaced by very tall firs, lol. Team Hortensia has some sort of storyline with Robert Lindsay guesting as a character named Wormwood and a lesser known actor, Muzz Khan, as one named Barry, as far as I can fathom, from Twitter. Lots of scenes together and references to the "Wormwood/Barry" storyline. Speculation/guessing... with a male character closer in age to Isabella whose name rhymes with that young cousin, Prince Harry, and this being medieval comedy... more royal relatives/courtiers, aspiring to usurp Cousin/Prince Harry's throne, perhaps?
  12. He might have had he been truly blindsided. What I want to know is was he angrily threatening her to try to force her into changing her vote or was he pathetically begging her not to oust him?
  13. Honestly, if I were Vanessa, I'd send JMac out the door tomorrow. Yes, Austin is angry and feels betrayed over his eviction but once he gets to the jury house and hears everyone but Meg talking about how Vanessa's been running this game, I think he might calm down enough to see her move for what it was - a brilliant strategic move. JMac would only concur with those sentiments already expressed by Shelli, Becky, James, and Julia. If Liz remains in the BB house then Austin and Julia will hope that she can win out and probably be campaigning for her as opposed to "anyone but Vanessa", which is what their mentality is likely to be if Liz leaves tomorrow, especially since Vanessa won veto and would be the one responsible for evicting both Austin and Liz. I think Vanessa is trying to work Steve around to the idea that SHE is a better F2 goat than Liz since he'll be down 2 votes automatically if he chooses Liz for F2. We'll have to see what she says to Liz over the next few days (assuming she remains) to figure out her angle to get to F2 with Liz. I'm not even sure, at this point, that it's in Vanessa's best interests to win the F3 HOH if she can convince both Steve & Liz to take her over the other. Against Steve, she's sure to win - Shelli, JMac, Becky, James, Julia, Austin & Liz would all vote for her - after all, Steve would, in that scenario, be responsible for getting out both the twins. Against Liz, I think she'd still win - Shelli, JMac, Becky, James & Steve would all likely pick her over Liz.
  14. Well, there are only 6 possible outcomes at this point and no leaks in the last 16 hours or so would make me leery at believing any reports suddenly appearing this afternoon. We'll know soon enough but this wait to find out is aggravating. I really think the theory that perhaps BB went with no audience is plausible. I was thinking more along the lines of obnoxious, lol, but I'll give you amusing. Are we all in a prayer circle for an Austin blindside?
  15. Did Ben later say the show runners loved them? I thought he was just going to share them. Either way, huge compliment!
  16. Agreed. It's not as though BB is water cooler conversation these days so if the feed watchers were spoiled it wouldn't be something that necessarily seeped into the mainstream media and public consciousness. This isn't the Great Kit Harrington Hair Watch of Summer 2015, after all, lol.
  17. Is the taping for tomorrow's show today? I'm hoping it's today and we get spoilers within the next few hours about who wound up being evicted. I'm with the rest of you hoping for an Austin blindside.
  18. Just how stupid can JMac be? Take out Liz and you break up both Liztin and Lizia. I'm sorry but with 6 players left, it is not in Steve, JMac or Vanessa's interests to keep Liz. Heck, I'm not sure it's in Austin's best interests because with Liz still there, he's in a very obvious duo and, with the two of them being comp beasts, they'll have a target on their back anytime someone not named Julia wins HOH.
  19. Well, I can't see any way that Vanessa or JMac goes up on the block to replace Austin. For sure Steve knows he has to get an Austwin out and the only way he guarantees that is by putting Julia up there against her sister. Liz will, for sure, go, because JMac won't want to keep her and Vanessa has always been closer to Julia.
  20. Oh, that would be amazing if Austin used the veto on Liz if both of them were on the block together.
  21. I was contemplating something similar to this last night... a scenario where Julia wins veto and takes Liz down, forcing Steve to have to choose between JMac and Vanessa as the replacement nom. If Vanessa is as smart as I think she is, she would offer to go up on the block. In an Austin v. Vanessa vote, she would stay. Julia would surely vote to keep her over Austin and I think JMac would also since she's the one who kept him safe last week. And it really would benefit her efforts to get as little blood on her hands in taking out the Austwins. Austin can't get mad at her when she's on the block against him. Likewise, Liz and Julia can't be mad at Vanessa when Steve is the one who forced them to make a choice between two of their allies. The only way it works though is if Steve is stupid enough to put the twins up against each other and I just don't see that happening. I am fairly certain he knows that he needs to put Austin and Liz up in order to ensure one of them goes this week.
  22. But James has shown far more affinity for Austin than he ever has with John or Steve. And, he lied to Shelli to win his 2nd HOH then stabbed her in the back. At least with Vanessa, John and Steve know she 100% had their backs this week and wouldn't consider putting them up. If I was in John's spot, I would stick with Vanessa. He will never be anything other than 3rd wheel to James & Meg and they've proven they are less trustworthy than Vanessa, IMO.
  23. LOL! Oh, trust me. I have a 13-yr old niece who is every bit as stubborn as her now 23-yr old sister, but not nearly as persuasive nor quite as persistent yet (thank God). It's hard to say whether or not Maddie is going to protest against the home-schooling. After all, from her perspective, what's not to love about the current arrangement? She gets to dance, is making tons of money, doesn't have to keep to a school schedule, etc. If any of my nieces and nephews, at that age, had a set-up like hers, they'd have been as happy as a clam.
  24. How is she really going to "find boys" when she's being home-schooled, and poorly at that?
  25. The only Reason Vanessa needs is that Austin and Julia have never been on the block. As a thank you to Steve and JMac for their repeated times as pawn, she wants to put up someone else and, at this point in the game, only Austin and Julia have never been in jeopardy, so the Austwins can decide amongst themselves who is going up as a pawn and let her know. Easy-peasy and done.
