I think she just accents and punctuates her moves. She doesn't do a step/bodyroll, she does a step/slight shimmy/bodyroll/head pop and it dresses up those moves. That's what makes her so special to me. That extra oomph and energy she puts into it...it's what people call "extra" but she is just light years ahead of some of them with her interpretation of the same old choreo. She makes it look fresh and new. OK I'm done lol.

This two word sentiment is so dead on. And honestly, I would be happy to be in their shoes for a day. I can't hate on any of these gals too hard, because it takes so SO much to get out there and take a risk, and to open yourself to ridicule and failure. I know. I'm constantly berated for my effervescent, striking, captivating beauty and chutzpah. Nah, just playin. Totally forgot to mention that....that's the a part that I want to turn away from in revulsion because they look so painful. They just look TIGHT. Her frame is teeny teeny weeny tiny....yeowch!

Hi all, new to this forum. I am so disappointed in this season. The ep with Miley was somewhat tolerable due to the humor factor, but as a whole, I guess Black Mirror is just going to be a memory of four seasons of greatness and one elusive let-down.

Totally. But I'm so jelly of her bod it could classify as a mental illness.

Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color
MavisL replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Yeah, I don't feel one way or another about Rinna, personally. -
haha I think that's a great idea. And we get to choose it!

Man. Gina can D A N C E. Just watching her in that clip reconfirms that. I know she's not everyone's cup of tea but I literally can't look at anyone else. She reminds me of Paula Abdul's style back in the day. She adds like, three extra moves to every count and she knows how to do it. I'm in awe.

Lisa Vanderpump: Pink is her Favorite Color
MavisL replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
YAAAY!! Next season will be a breath of fresh air. I thought I was the only one who saw right through her scamming, phoney baloney histrionics! I have sporadically watched this season and that's mostly because I couldn't take her anymore. I skipped the lie detector episode entirely and I forward past anything she's in. #MBHGA. -
Oh thank goodness, someone else. I've been on a watch binge all week and I'm saving the new ep for when I finish. I'm dying to know what Abby's relationship is now with the original moms and kids. It always seemed like she and Kelly had a love/hate relationship-and that there was more than met the eye, but I'm only on the third season. Can't wait to finally catch the new one!

Jinelle was a fave of mine for several reasons. Listening to her tell her story, with her little suitcase, all by herself going to audition really spoke to her inner strength. I may not have a posse, or privilege, but dammit, I'm going to go for it anyway. I agree about them hiding her, and I'm not sure why either. If I have to compare recent point girls like KaShara, Jenna, and Jennifer to Jinelle, it's not even a contest for looks, figure, personality and projection. And she was a leader without being a preachy, obnoxious do-gooder. She didn't behave like a leader, she WAS a leader. But I guess that's why we all have our favorites and preferences.

LOL right-nice reference. I'll never forget when Kelli commented on her Insta telling her to get dressed or put some clothes on or whatever, I just cracked up. I guess being mostly naked and posing for pics is only cool if you're being mostly naked under the tenure of the DCCs for a contracted photographer. I'm not a fan of Kalyssa but the irony is worth mentioning.

THIS much shade 😂

Wow, I had to catch up! Re: Maddie. DANG! Tough crowd up in this piece. Maddie is just a nice mormon girl who got lucky. She's super well-liked among her peers and has a really good heart. I feel that she deserves to be a DCC. For the record, ask a dancer, choreographer or dance teacher: Hip-hop is as technically difficult to choreograph and execute as ballet-when it's done right. Technical hip-hop is not just jumping around and swinging your arms while you booty pop. Re: "Universally liked". What's the criteria? The fan opinion? Peer opinion? Teacher/instructor opinion? I'm not sure if we're referencing Nicole Bulcher or Nicole Hamilton. If it's Hamilton, then yes, I've not seen evidence of anything contrary to her just being a hard-working, nice person. Another one is Meagan Sharp (I'm sure we could find an anomaly to say something nasty, but I'm speaking generally). Bulcher has certainly found her people and place among fellow prominent DCC alumni, and I haven't seen any evidence that could classify her unpopular or mean (see caveat below). Abigail may be a fan fave but, like many of these types, she's the pet of those above her (and when the cameras are rolling-"Kelli! Kelli all the waaaaay"), and sometimes perhaps not so much to some who are not. Caveat for the Bulchers, the Abigails, the Brookes, etc: I don't even think it's "mean girl", I think it's a genuine, organic perception that you hold a middle-management slot in the hierarchy and so you get to relax the sweet syrupy bullshit and just let loose and be straight up sometimes because, well, you can, and you don't have the energy or the desire to sugar coat it to someone who needs emotional babysitting (i.e. a needy rookie). I'd chalk it up to lack of awareness or fatigue vs maliciousness. Caveat to the caveat: Previous caveat does not apply to Cassie LOL. I'm not meaning to malign these young women, just to say that everyone has a unique and valuable perspective, IMO. Re: Savannah: I'm such a fan. I think her look is sexy as hell and she is a stunner, IMO. Re: Madeline Salter- I can't wait to see her story play out. It'll be interesting to get to know her personality and skills. Her waspy looks aren't my thing but she is, of course, lovely and has the DCC look. But can we please stop naming our daughters Madeline now?!

I think VK looks really pretty here, and I love her pink dress. I know that some are blown out of the water with her Barbie, but really, of course she's getting a Barbie. She's getting a Barbie, she's going to be a DCC and she's going to be on show group. That's just how it goes in this organization. They'll edit better, she'll keep the weight off as long as she can, and she'll probably be ROTY and eventually go to pro bowl at LEAST once. What can you do LOL?
-
ha definitely! I don't see why we need to hoard all the "fun"! I just saw that in my head as I read it and cracked up....also, I hope you're okay!!

I got ya, your point is beautifully articulated and well taken. It even occurred to me, but I figured I'd better stick to one-subject rants being new. Nobody likes a blowhard.

Ha, no no, I think they just meant like, why would anyone want to push for WOC to join this shit show, but it's like when gay marriage was legalized, straight people were going "Congratulations. Come join the misery" LOL.

Two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, "Boy, the food at this place is really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and such small portions.

I've been wanting to make a joke about Valley RANCH for three hours but I can't come up with one. Guess I'm just not SEASONED in this stuff.....

All Past Seasons of the Late Lamented Show
MavisL replied to ByTor's topic in Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team
Now that you mention it, that is an interesting point....hmmmm indeed...... I always felt really bad for LeGrande, and how things turned out for her in her life. Sounds like it hasn't been easy. It's difficult for me to reconcile the assertion that Kelli and Judy get attached to veterans when I see how some things are handled. Clearly, not ALL veterans. Lord, that was just cruel. TPTB had no intention of bringing her to the squad. She did not belong for many reasons. I actually just rewatched this scene last week (was rewatching in honor of finals week) and not only did Kitty delight in the confrontation, she seemed to derive some sick pleasure in watching anyone squirm who would dare speak their opinion, it was a really gross moment, and Kitty, IMO, is a really gross person. -
IMO, Jalyn, Ashlee and Madeline are the only three that are standouts to me from last year's rookie crop. I've read here that some people are bored with this class, and I can't disagree, I'm sorry to say.

Oh ok thank you! I always love to see what they wear to the first meeting.
