  1. I liked him, too. Lots of love for Joe on this site! Has there ever been a contestant who was sent home on the first night who had such a following? Also, did you notice that when Joe told Becca he had a “little grocery store” her reply was, “How cute!” She acted like he owned a sidewalk pretzel stand. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that either!)
  2. Colton used to date Aly Raisman. PS: Welcome, Carly!
  3. Agree, it even edges out pantsapreneur. And don’t forget, he’s not just a model, he’s a MALE model. (Why do they do that? It’s like calling a female physician a “lady doctor.” Very 1950s.) I find him extremely unattractive, and it’s not just his hair, it’s his constant eye rolling and snarky face making.
  4. Is it just me, or is this the lamest group of guys ever?? No eye candy in this group IMHO.
  5. I was waiting for the clerk to tell them that they’d be charged for the room even if they left, since they hadn’t canceled 24 hours ahead. That’s the policy of many/most hotels.
  6. I think this was my favorite episode to date. Much as I looked forward to catching up with the old cast and their current lives, I’ve found that part a bit tedious. Tonight’s episode had good characters, an actual story line and a satisfying conclusion. If this is the ongoing trend, I’ll stick around.
  7. I was so excited about this reboot, but I just don’t find it funny. Maybe you really can’t go home again...
  8. With all their (many!) faults, these are attractive, wealthy and mostly successful women. I’m amazed they can’t find any men better than the likes of Tom, Dennis, John, etc. Not one man on this show is attractive or otherwise appealing (except boy toy Adam). I don’t get it.
  9. What fresh hell is this? https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/24/entertainment/bachelor-producers-new-abc-show-proposal/index.html
  10. What a bunch of whiny, petty, insufferable women! Erika radiated hostility and defensiveness before she was even part of the conversation. Rinna was meh, as she’s deliberately been all season. LVP and Kyle were ok, if a bit boring. Dorit is just quite simply the most despicable human being on the planet, and she thinks she has the rest of us fooled. That leaves Teddy, who I think is the only genuine, nice and honest one on the show.
  11. Kudos to you, that is a hilarious idea! (And I don’t even care for Sarah Chalke.)
  12. Ha! I had the exact same thought!
  13. I really liked the episode too, but I found a lot wrong with it. The show seems to be trying to demonstrate how everyone is moving forward, especially with the final decision for David and Darlene to remain apart, but there was a lot of juvenile throwback behavior leading up to that conclusion. First, Darlene. She wasn’t overly warm toward David for the first few minutes, but as soon as she found out that he was seeing someone, she immediately reverted to the teenage Darlene who couldn’t stand the idea of Molly flirting with - or, quite simply, even being nice to - her boyfriend, and pulled out the sexual moves to manipulate things toward her own goals, as well as decimating Molly in a way that was, admittedly, very funny but not very nice. Second, David. I like that he (belatedly) pushed back on Darlene’s aggressivenes as he was heading out the window, even telling her he’d changed in that regard. But then why was he so quick to sleep with her and willingly to sacrifice what seemed like a very positive and loving relationship with Blue, which is what brought him to this point of being ready to move back into his children’s lives on a full-time basis in the first place? I ship David and Darlene as much as anyone, and I understand that they love each other and that letting go is difficult and scary, but here’s how I wish the episode had gone. Whether they had slept together or not, I wish Darlene and David had both recognized sooner that her sudden attempt to get back with David was primarily motivated by jealousy, fear, and the need to maintain power and control in the relationship. It was very sugary-sweet to imply that the ONLY potential downside to their getting back together was the effect on the kids, but what about the effect on David? He’s clearly gotten his life much more on track since being away from Darlene. Would she not want this to continue? One of my favorite moments last night was David standing up to Darlene and telling her he’s changed, but I also wish he had “walked the walk” by being the one to put the kibosh on getting back together. I am interested in Blue, who sounded, from David’s brief description, like a kind, caring and supportive person, and I hope they cast someone in that role. If she’s going to be living with him in Lanford, she might take on a quasi-step parental role which would present lots of fun possibilities... Anayway, I’m glad the episode came to the conclusion it did, just wished it had featured a bit more growth and insight after 20 years! David, when you get your house in Lanford, please take Harris with you asap!
  14. Surprised to see Aaron rather than Nacho get the boot. I still think Aaron’s glossy painted cookies from last week were about the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen!
  15. I think maybe part of the judges’ Nacho Love is because they loved his wife, Susanna, on an earlier series. Meanwhile, watching Heather stir batter with both hands simultaneously was... interesting. Nice floor show!
  16. Thanks for posting this. The unrolled cake in Step 6 is almost prettier than the rolled version. I imagine you could use the same technique with a sheet cake or layers. Now if you can find a link to the technique for glazing those gorgeous cookies, please post! ?
  17. I’m not sorry to see Ruby go. The judges seemed to have some kind of love for her that I could never really understand, and I think they had already cut her some slack more than once. Aaron’s cookies were drop-dead gorgeous. I want both the recipe and the frosting technique. Nacho is adorable.
  18. That’s the same episode where Jackie had to deliver the sad news to Auntie Barbara. Probably my all-time favorite Laurie Metcalf moment.
  19. My impression is that she committed suicide.
