  1. Poor Asa. This is not going to end well......
  2. I agree that John Goodman is overacting. He did the same thing in early Season 1, before he settled in as Dan. I always notice that when I watch reruns.
  3. Toby’s deadpan “Shalom” was the best line of the night.
  4. Quinn is Rachel's safe space, despite it all. Quinn knows everything about her, accepts her. Thanks, but I was referring to the short scene after that one. Any thoughts?
  5. What was the meaning of the final scene, the scene after Rachel curled up on the couch with Quinn?
  6. I may be alone on this, but tons of frosting is a plus for me. Especially if it’s a really good chocolate fudge frosting, in which case I can skip the cake altogether! Glad Linsey won, she’s darling and very talented.
  7. I still think Gia was the most beautiful contestant ever.
  8. Me, too. Laugh out loud funny every time.
  9. This comment is from the vulture.com site, and I hope I’m not violating some rule by quoting it here, but it made me laugh out loud: ”Everyone’s mom just ends up resigned with the (contestant) sitting on a bed going “Well, if you’re happy, I’m happy.” I want someone to shake their daughter and tell her, “DON’T DO THIS! HE’S A BEIGE PASHMINA COME TO LIFE!”
  10. Just one of many laugh-out-loud lines by our Master Raconteur, Rainsong. You get my final rose every time, sir!
  11. On the 20/20 show they revealed that not only is DJ married to a black woman, it’s the same girl he refused to kiss in his elementary school play. Cute twist.
  12. From Arie’s blog about Lauren: “My hope was that in Lucca, we’d be able to build upon our amazing connection and the depth we reached in Paris.” All together now: “WOW!!!”
  13. I came here to state my opinion that Dorit is not a nice person, but everyone else has already said it, and in much more colorful language. Who would’ve thought I could ever loathe anyone more than Rinna?
  14. Echoing what everyone else is saying - what a bore! There MUST be more to these “relationships” than we’re being allowed to see. Maybe TPTB are just trying to edit this so we can’t tell who the “winner” is. If that’s the case, they’ve succeeded to a fault. I can’t see one scintilla of actual interest between Arie and any of the remaining women. I was one of those who loved Arie on Emily’s season and was so excited for this season, but it’s just impossible to give a darn about any of it...
  15. These kids are so stinkin’ cute! I like all of them, but Bryn cracks me up the most with those facial expressions. Did you notice the music they played when she came out for the judging? I think it’s from some old 1950s TV show.
  16. Or she could stuff the ones that she sends home. That would really raise the stakes of the show. BWAHHHH! That’s gold!
  17. Alex, with his wide-eyed look, reminds me of a young Fred Savage on The Wonder Years.
  18. So, I couldn’t tell who was who at the end. Was that Lauren going all bunny-boiler?
  19. Kendall. Wow. That talk she had with Krystal was pure class. Love her.
  20. IF the 2 on 1 date is with Bekah and Krystal (and I don’t know that it is), I wonder if he’ll find a way to keep them both? Because I can’t imagine the producers want to let either one of those trouble-makers go!
  21. So is there gonna be a Krystal vs. Bekah two on one date? Epic!
  22. In his People Magazine blog, Arie gave a couple of shout-outs to Jacqueline. First, re: the group date: “A ... missed part of the bowling date was Jacqueline pulling me aside and sneaking a kiss. I know you haven’t seen much of her on the show, but Jacqueline is so beautiful, intelligent and interesting.” Then, night of the rose ceremony, “Jacqueline and I really connected this night, with great conversation and her showcasing her psychology skills by making me a chocolate Rorschach test.” This could of course mean different things. It could mean that she’s a top contender and they’ve been deliberately hiding the fact, or the blog could be a red herring to make us think he’s doing interested in her when he’s not. I lean toward the first. I’ve always thought Jacqueline was a sleeper, a la Sean’s Catherine, but who knows??
  23. Which is a big part of his attraction to Bekah, who is playing that role to perfection.
