I guess if you only watched Jessica & Austin parts from last season, you'd "trust" the experts. Did Brett have like 10 siblings!?! Typical south Louisiana family.

Karen is by far my favorite. And her mom needs to be one of the experts next season!

I'm here to see if I recognize anyone I know in random shots around NOLA. And give Bennett's sister the first award for being a dubious family member.

This filmed in February/March/early April; Residency doesn't start till July 1st. Most fourth year medical students spend the second half of the year on "easy" electives so I'm not surprised that she felt like she could do the show while in her fourth year.

She filmed this during her last few months of 4th year of Medical School (I'm assuming Tulane) and it hasn't been announced yet where she matched for the start of her residency on July 1st.

And I'm wondering if Christina's mom is going to be a problem too as they did say Christina is an only child who doesn't know her bio dad. Add her past relationship issues, she could be one big ole mess.

First impressions: Yay for Karen, Armani, Olivia the nurse and Henry the former fat guy. Need to see more of Miles, his bff Woody, and Christina. Yikes to Brett and his dating apps. And matching him with someone that is iffy about kids is just wrong. I don't care if they both own a million cats. Don't know what to make of Amelia & Bennett. Can't decide if quirky is good or just a total trainwreck waiting to happen.

Jessica & Austin were on MAFS' Instagram account live last night with Michelle Collins. Some technical glitches like Austin not being close enough to the mic. Was glad to hear that due to COVID cases declining in the DC area, Jess has gone back to working in her regular unit in the hospital. She seemed really happy about that, less hours and more free time. And as we saw on the show, twin Jennifer was the one that pushed Jessica to apply as she was binge watching past seasons while on maternity leave and then found out DC was casting. Neither Jess or Austin expected things to go so well an they both seemed very grateful. Noticed that Rex loves being on camera. Wishing them the best as they move into year 2.

I'm not surprised that Karen would know or at least know of Miles as even though New Orleans is a pretty large city it still works like a small town in many ways. First thing you do when meeting someone new is "where did you go to school?" and that means High School.

I've decided to start watching the recorded version of this show so I can skip all the Jamie/Doug and Jamie/Beth bits since I find both couples to be off the charts of being annoying. Enjoying getting to know the couples whose season I didn't watch--AJ/Stephanie and Keith/Kristine. Hopefully AJ's new version of his company does take off as watching him deal with unemployment on the earlier episodes wasn't fun. Austin's graduation party for Jess and Rex and then their brewery crawl was really cute. And here's hoping Greg really is ready for a baby. These last few months of being a health care worker have been brutal and I really feel for both Jess and Keith as they try to balance their work with a new marriage, taking care of a home, etc. Hopefully they know that they aren't alone. Every day when I go to work at my hospital, I put on my mask and take care of myself and my coworkers.

I work at a large teaching hospital in NOLA and don't recognize Amelia the resident but then there are hundreds of them on campus so that's not a surprise. Her groom looks like he's thinking 'maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all'. And did they just recast Jessica and Austin with Olivia and Brett--nurse manager and IT system guy?!? On paper they look to be the best bet but you never know. And agree, Christina & Henry look like they have serious regrets on night one.

So sorry for your loss LBS. And yes just a horrible look for Peter & Kelly and their third wheel Dustin. What is wrong with them? Did Peter decide that since Hannah B & Tyler were getting all the love on Instagram (who are another group that doesn't understand social distancing) that he'd make sure he's seen with Kelly!?! Just sooo stupid on so many levels, all of them. but it won't hurt them where it counts: Instagram followers.

I'm guessing Madison just didn't want to fake things so that's why the news came out last night. Plus maybe the reddit rumor that she's already talking to a new guy is true. Peter can go back to hooking up with Kelley, the producer and million others. Hannah Ann is the big winner in all this. She got to do the publicity tour (saw her on Ellen) and now can go to Paradise and have her pick of Clare's rejects. Nice.

So who is watching "listen to your heart" or whatever its called? I'm kinda pissed Jed has a girlfriend so he won't be on. Nor Wes.

Noooooo, don't hug her Clare. You'll get the eville rubbed off on you.

Ugh, I hate that she's entertaining getting back with this guy. At least she didn't do the bachelor hug like Lauren did with Arie when they were reunited.

Madison's family and friends are probably frantically trying to reach her to make sure she doesn't take the idiot back but TPTB most probably have her in hiding backstage.

If he dares to propose to Madi after this, he really will be the most hated bachelor ever, passing the other idiot pilot on this show.

Wow, I don't think I've ever done a 180 on a contestant as I have on Hannah Ann. Hope she gets a billion insta follwers, makes a shit ton of money shilling tummy tea and teeth whitener and find some great guy in the coming months.

Reality Steve has a tweet up where he shares an Instagram post from one of the dumped 20 something guys--I'm at work so can't bring it over. Anyway, said dumped guy is still moving to LA and seems to have wanted Madison as his bachlorette. Guess he'll try out for some other reality TV mess, hahahahaha. And I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised that the 20 somethings are being dumped. Still expect a trainwreck of a season but just maybe it won't be so bad.
