I actually found a lot to like with this ep, especially Morgan with the Q's and specifically him teaching Tracy how to fist-bump. I also liked the way LW played those CarSon scenes. I think we might be in for some sort of stockholm syndrome white-wash of the Cranco "relationship". There was something about the LW's facial expressions and the terse way she delivered the lines that screamed "I know this is sick but I cant escape him". And of course i love anyone who hates Freakco so of course I had to like Sonny. I also liked the way RHo and MSt played their scene. It was very understated. Same goes for KG; Dr. O works much better when they play her straight as opposed to wacky hijinks. That said, KA and ME were simply awful. ME continues to look and act heavily sedated and KA just cannot act. It's probably not too late to sign up for some community college's fall semester. Same goes for JD; I thought he sucked playing a snarky ass-hole too. ETA: i just can't with this Levi & Maxie shit. I could understand her doubting Nathan and even Dante, but Mac?!? The ONE person who has always been there for her, raised her, is still paying her bills! I just can't.

I will always be a Robert Redford fan after he called Stevie B the most wooden actor he had ever worked with, after Steve appeared in Redford's "The Last Castle". And it's funny because IMHO, SBu actually was a good actor before he left in 99. I don't know if he became bitter that his movie career was over after Last Castle bombed and he was critically panned, but aside from literally a small handful of scenes, he was awful from his 2002 return until he finally left.

Meant to put this with my previous post: Apparently there is some chart detailing ABC's most to least profitable shows based on ad-rates, licensing fees, percentage of advertising, etc., and GH is one of the networks most profitable shows. Interestingly, The View is one of the least profitable, and that was with the relatively cheap contracts of SS and JM. If even half the rumors about Rosie and "her team" are true, then The View is going to become even less cost-efficient which is probably a good thing for the long-term survival of GH.

I havent seen today's show, but based on the recap I read it is obvious that someone else is going to die and that heart will save Alice. I'm hoping & speculating that we will get a 'who killed Franco' storyline. He will catch Nina walking and Rosalie will whack him over the head and he'll die and thenthey'll frame someone on Nina's list.

I don't know how legitimate the cast cuts are but GH's budget is being cut again for the 2014/15 season. Allegedly this is a small cut, approx. 2%, but it's another cut nonetheless. What I don't understand is why the budget is being cut again. The budget is calculated based on ad-rates and the ratings are up, so the budget shouldn't be cut. Edited b/c an "add-rate" and an "ad-rate" are two very different things.

I never thought I would actively hope that the show went back to CarSon, but right now I am if only because I actually see shades of the real Carly around Sonny. Sahbweeenah as the head of the mob, her entire demeanor and personality having been fake, would be such an awesome twist. I have wanted it to be Scarface!Lily, but this would even better.

My cableguide descriptions for the week are ridiculous. MON: Franco rushes to help Nina. TUE: Sonny threatens Franco. WED: Nina contemplates confessing. THU: Anna and Patrick talk about his marriage. FRI: Maxie makes a startling announcement. Aside from Thu this all sounds like fast-forward material.

Off-topic: I'm a 31 year old straight guy and I think Golden Girls is really funny. My girlfriend has a theory that every group of friends, be it guys, girls, whatever, has those four archetypes. She claims I'm the "Sophia" of my group. On-topic: Samtrick has officially begun. I am big Robin fan and a Scrub fan, but JT and KMo have "it" and even though I know Cartini will royally screw it up eventually, I am going to enjoy the hell out of the ride until then. Other than that, the last Nina & Rafe thing was probably one of the strangest things I have ever seen on this show. Between JD's eye-lids fluttering to whatever the heck MSt was doing, it was just so odd. But the biggest wtf was when Nina told Rafe she was "doing all these things" to Sam & Si. I honestly cant think of a single thing she has done. Can anyone name something? Bueller? Bueller? ETA: all these things Nina claims to have done, not to mention crossing names of her list, is just like last fall when Sahbweeenah was whining about "everything [she and Patrick] have been through". These "things" didnt happen on the show or on Ron's twitter. Is there a third place where things are happening? Does this stuff happen in Liz Korte's diary?

Grey's is the # 4 show on television in the key sales demo and Shake it Up was one of Disney's top shows and one of the biggest shows on cable. KMc was good enough to shadow on the former and actually direct the latter, but she's not good enough to direct an episode of GH?!? *Grey's is behind only Big Bang Theory, ModFam, and Scandal.

My boss has delegated the hiring of a new person to join our team to me, and one of the candidates HR sent over is named Bobbie Spencer. Given her age, I'm convinced her parents knew exactly what they were doing. I'm seriously contemplating ditching the whole interview process and just hiring her based on her name.

Freakco & Carly's conversation made no sense. It's as if two different writers wrote each other character's lines, and then they taped Roger and Laura separately and edited them in together.
