  1. Is that his actual house or one of the Bachelor rentals?
  2. Why do we have to keep hearing about Blake's Stagecoach romances? He is a player. Ladies, if you want a committed relationship, avoid Blake.
  3. I think she is more in love with the idea of dating a former NFL player than with Clay himself. They didn't have much substance to their interactions and Clay wasn't that upset to leave her. Also, based on his previous conversation with his ex-girlfriend whose name I cannot remember, Clay has some controlling tendencies. She is better off without him.
  4. After requesting a trade from Miami, Minkah Fitzpatrick has been traded to Pittsburgh. Seems like Fitzpatrick is going from one bad situation to another in light of Big Ben's season-ending injury. Mayfield and OBJ showed some real potential last night. I might hop on the Cleveland love train since I've got nothing to get excited about in DC.
  5. Joe and Mika opened with commentary about the Dancing with the Stars premiere. Sean Spicer wore a bright shirt. Barnicle, Elise, and Eugene are in the studio. They opened the politics talk with a clip of Elizabeth Warren speaking about corruption. Mika said that the speech was attended by thousands. Barnicle said that Warren has a problem with Michigan auto workers. Mika said Elizabeth Warren hits the right notes. Joe said Biden in tentative. I smell a Know Your Value plug for Liz in the future.
  6. He did say something like that. I think he meant that, although she has a legal education, she has limited expertise in litigation. I agree. I understand that the actors are friends, and it is awkward for them to do makeout scenes. I just don't get why they would not show some affection that would make the couple thing more believable, such as casual touching or a quick kiss.
  7. In a segment on the debate, Joe said Elizabeth Warren won and did well by knowing when to be silent. Joe asked how a Warren versus Trump race will play on Wall Street. Interesting since it seems like Joe and Mika are pivoting away from Joe Biden.
  8. I noticed his face, too I figured it was due to the camera work. There were lots of extreme close-ups. This was the first time I realized that Louis and Sheila weren't married.
  9. Donny Deutsch and Joe interviewed each other about what the Democrats need to beat Trump. I know Donny is billed as branding expert, but his brand is not politics. He is not a political strategist or a campaign veteran. Donny is also not objective since he used to date Marla Maples. There must be a Dem strategist who could address this. Willie did an interview with legal and medical experts about anti-vaping measures. It was very interesting until Joe cut in.
  10. I didn't follow the Harvey case since I don't know the history with Mike. However, I have a hard time believing that Harvey would talk without having his lawyer present. How would Faye have time to represent someone new? She is supposed to be overseeing the firm operations, but suddenly she can take outside interests just so she can screw Harvey over. I really hated the reveal of Harvey's mom's death at the end. It was very cold and seemed tacked on for shock value. All the Donna and Harvey interaction was lacking. Can they at least act somewhat romantic for the last two episodes?
  11. There was a brief interview with Jeremy Bash in the first 15 minutes of the broadcast. Bash said that the spy is currently in the US, where he is under protection. Bash said there is a risk of the spy being targeted by the Russian government. A Russian spy was found murdered in a Washington, DC hotel in 2015. Bash was critical of the news stories about the spy because they put the individual at risk. Mika's interview with Bash was cut off shortly after Bash started criticizing the news coverage.
  12. Fucking Bukowski. Is this guy ever going to commit to anything? He is a train wreck. His speech about what a screw up he is did not sound promising.
  13. Why do they seem so surprised about the overnight dates? The fantasy suite happens every year. I am not sure whether any of these couples are long-term, compared to past couples like Carly and Evan and Jade and Tanner. JPJ's speech to Tayshia was very sweet. But I think he likes her more than she likes him.
  14. This morning, Joe, Eugene and Barnicle are on the NY Times story about Trump's hotel business in Scotland. Barnicle always seems half out of it like he could be talking about the Red Sox or his favorite beer. A WaPo poll shows a 38 percent approval rating for the president. Joe thinks this means trouble. Willie says they hear whispers about Trump in private from politicians that no one will say in public. Mika says Republicans should want to vote for an alternative to Trump.
  15. Absolutely, Kemper. I worked in journalism, including TV, for a few years out of college. The thing is that everyone in the entry level jobs is looking for an "in" to a higher level of pay because the entry level barely pays enough to fund even basic needs in NY or DC. Halperin knew this and preyed on young women's vulnerabilities. There is no redemption for him. Joe and Mika should not help this arrogant predator.
  16. This morning, Joe and Mika are covering how much some Republican states lost in diverted defense spending for border wall. Joe and Mika showed a list of diverted funds by state and they "riffed" on how this will affect each state while Mika smiled and stared at Joe. They seemed quite pleased with themselves. Now, Joe is screaming at NC Sen Thom Tillis about the effects of the diverted funding. Does he think Thom is going to see the rant and try to get the money back?
  17. The road trip with Samantha was okay. Harvey looked sexy, and it was funny watching them fight about dumb stuff like where to eat. The serious conversation about their childhoods was nice. I thought the Louis storyline was idiotic, but the acting was funny. Why would he impersonate Harvey to a client? He was obviously going to run into someone who would rat him out. I really liked the conversation between Harvey and his mother at the end. What is the deal with that ugly painting Donna bought? That thing was hideous.
  18. This morning Mika is giving a dramatic reading from a Washington Post editorial about Mitch McConnell, criticizing the leader regarding gun control. Joe says that Mitch is concerned about doing the work of the KGB and Putin. Joe is just lecturing while everyone sits there. He must have had a ton of coffee today.
  19. Tonight is the first time that I could tolerate Demi. She seems a lot calmer. I don't get the attraction of Tayshia and JPJ. He seems half out of it most of the time. I think Tayshia deserves a more mature guy.
  20. This morning Joe is on a tear about Trump's claims that he is building a wall. They are talking about a WaPo story that Trump promised pardons in exchange for building the wall. But, instead of getting a WaPo reporter to discuss their report, they have an interview with a NY Times reporter. So no one from WaPo wants to discuss the story, or did the producers not care to get them? It's ridiculous.
  21. I thought that it was really sweet when Sara Rafferty teared up while thanking the fans. I hope we will see her on another show soon.
  22. The other day, Mika criticized the president's conduct at the G-7 and compared him unfavorably to her father. She essentially said that her dad was an expert and Trump is not. Why does she continue to hide behind her father as some sort of proxy for her own policy expertise? The lady is 50 and is still relying on daddy for her relevance.
  23. This morning they ran a discussion of the Johnson and Johnson verdict in Oklahoma, but there were no legal experts, just two reporters, Joe, and Mika. At the end of the segment Mika editorialized that, hopefully, this could be a significant change before another drug company wipes out a generation. Thanks for that legal analysis, Meeks. It was a nice try at a non Trump story, but they totally left us hanging on the question of whether the case could be reversed on appeal. They really needed a legal expert to talk about this case, not Mika and Joe and Barnicle.
  24. I previously thought that Caelynn was just a shallow drama queen, but last night I actually understood her frustration. She seems to be there hoping for a committed relationship. Dean basically told her, "Hey, don't expect much from a loser like me." Blake tried to comfort her, and she told him not to touch her. Last week she would have been all over Blake. She appears to be burned out and over it. This is the first step toward leaving "Paradise" and meeting a nice guy, Caelynn!
  25. This cracks my shit up. I am from Houston and have followed Case since his college years. I really want him to do well. HOWEVER....I now live in Washington DC and have been witnessing the Gruden shitshow for years. He never seems to have a clear vision for the team. He is quite passive and blames the players when things go wrong. Sometimes in press conferences it seems like he didn't even watch his own game. I think they keep Gruden around because he can put up with Dan Snyder.
