Just learned from Wikipedia that Laura Kirkpatrick's middle name is Sioux and now I love her even more. I also love that when you search "laura antm" in Google images there are at least twice as many photos of her as of the other Laura who actually won her season.

I've watched every episode of this show and I have absolutely no memory of that.

Chris ALMOST went up in my estimation a teeny bit on the ATFR last night when he said (in reference to the upcoming Bachelorette), "Why not do this again?" Also to Andi: "You do know this is going to be on TV, right?." Heh. But only ALMOST. After the 20 billioneth season of this show it will take far more than one or two snarky remarks to make me think of him as an actual non-terrible human being.

I know I'm evil but the fact that this makes both JP and Fleiss look bad makes me so happy! (Article saying JP "duped" producers into thinking he was going to propose on ATFR) Also this , one of many reports extant that ABC and Fleiss couldn't wait to be rid of JP. Can't imagine why. And here, the probable meaning behind JP's reference to a drastic change of plans two weeks ago. (Hint: He got the word he wouldn't be on DWTS.)

Hmmm. Seems weird they deleted that, especially considering how much Fleiss and ABC are enjoying seeing JP squirm. In other news, I'm just now getting to the ATFR and, boy, could Nikki look any less like she wants to be there? Catherine: "Don't slap the hand that fed you" JP: "Huh?" Chris: "Don't slap the hand that fed you. It's a saying." Me: "No , no it's not."

I gotta give props to Mike Fleiss, et. al. I never would have guessed they would sabotage their own bachelor, but they did a spectacular job of it. That was my favorite finale, and possibly favorite episode, ever. Nice to see the man coming off as the douche for once. Interesting that they didn't show the choosing of the ring as they always do. It's like even Neil Lane realized what a tool JP is and didn't want to be associated with him. (I really hope this is true). I have no use for Nikki but I can't deny she looked stunning in the midnight blue gown.

So was S01 E10 (Lifeguard), the episode where Tony Goldwyn (aka Prez Fitz) was getting kickbacks for sentencing kids to a particular juvenile detention center based on this, or is it just a coincidence?
