  1. Lord, where do I even begin with this guy?
  2. Easily the weakest link on the show.
  3. Who doesn't love her, really? I want to do lunch and a mani-pedi with her at least once a week.
  4. Can't lie, he's one of the most fascinating and unique TV characters I've seen in a while. And boy can the guy deliver a Shonda Rhimes rant!
  5. This article contains a quote from Murray's mother indicating that he was contacted by ABC to be on the show, not the other way around. So, yeah, totally not a coincidence. Also, is family normally allowed to "confirm" that someone is on the show? Although I suppose in this case it works in ABC's favor, so I doubt they'll mind.
  6. I have issues. Serious. Issues. But let's start with this one, from a Scandal wiki: "Fitz is a Rhodes Scholar, a PhD, and J.D. He graduated from Yale University suma cum laude before going on to Harvard Law School." I buy Jed Bartlett being a Nobel Prize winner more than I buy this. Just . . . no.
  7. And she can wear the hell out of a cream-colored coat.
  8. Best comic relief on television these days. Hands down.
  9. Co-signed. On basically all of that, Sarah.
  10. A place to discuss particular episodes, arcs and moments from the show's run. Please remember this isn't a complete catch-all topic -- check out the forum for character topics and other places for show-related talk.
  11. From Reality Steve: "Josh Murray: 29, Athens, GA. Graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Business Administration in 2010 after playing minor league baseball for 5 years in the Brewers organization straight out of high school. Currently works as a Financial Services Rep for Capstone Financial. However, his claim to fame is being the older brother of recently graduated UGA quarterback, Aaron Murray. And you’ll never guess who’s one of the biggest UGA fans on the planet? You guessed it…Andi’s dad. . . . So lets see, Josh lives in GA, his brother was basically the best QB in school history, the Dorfman’s are huge UGA fans, and he’s good looking. I would be SHOCKED if Josh doesn’t at least make it to hometowns. And this guy has “next Bachelor” written all over him if he doesn’t win."
  12. Reality Steve posted this about Will today: "Will has been trying to get on this show for years, and for a while now, has been trolling my video chat, and video chats of former contestants under the screen name “UncleSexy.”... He basically was a troll that made lewd, perverted comments to anyone with a vagina. He has since deleted his @UncleSexy twitter handle, probably because it showed numerous conversations in the past of him hitting on former contestants on the show. Just ask around and plenty former contestants will tell you what a pig they think “UncleSexy” is." So, basically, perfect for this show.
  13. According to Reality Steve the show began filming last night (Wednesday) with the limo arrivals and all-night cocktail party. Today was a day off and tomorrow is the first 1-on-1. Saturday is the group date. Sunday is the next 1-on-1 and Monday is night is the second rose ceremony. Here's what he says about the group date: "As for Saturday’s group date, I can tell you now that it’ll be taking place in the Hollywood & Highland area and the “Hollywood Men” (a male exotic dance group) will be part of the date. So my guess is the guys will have to partake in some sort of male dancing show with minimal clothing on." He also has a list of 9 of Andi's guys so far (he claims to have more that he will release soon). You can read the full list and more details here. I'll reproduce the names and hometowns below. Eric Hill: 30, Salt Lake City, Utah Will Barry: 26, Philadelphia, PA. JJ O’Brien: 31, San Francisco, CA Pat Jagodzinski: 28 or 29, from Lebanon, New Jersey, but currently lives in Orange County, CA. Bradley Wisk: 32, Chicago, Ill. Tasos Hernandez: Age 30, Denver, CO Marquel Martin 26, Las Vegas, NV. Dylan Petitt; 26, Boston, MA Josh Murray: 29, Athens, GA There are several interesting things to say about these guys, but I'll reserve them for their individual threads. However, Josh Murray bears a mention. He is, according to Reality Steve, the older brother of recently graduated University of Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray. And, it just so happens that Andi's dad is one of the world's biggest UGA fans. What a coinkidink! Yeah, as Steve says, there's no way he doesn't at least make it to hometown dates, just for dad's sake if nothing else.
  14. Discuss the newest Bachelorette here. I don't particularly care for her, but she's not terribly annoying. Plus I do think her outspokenness might make it slightly more interesting than normal. Cause you know they're going to play up the whole "speaking her mind" thing.
  15. Well I liked Ben's voice, which is the kiss of death on this show, so I'm not terribly surprised. A little more surprised that Majesty ended up in the bottom three, although she totally deserved it. You come at Idina Menzel you better not miss. But still, I figured her fan base, along with every 12 year old girl in the country, would save her.
  16. Sarah--I could be wrong about Malaya, and Lord knows I hope I am, but they let her do a power ballad in the pimp spot last night, which I don't think they would do unless they think she at least has a shot at winning. And I have to say she wasn't totally terrible. I know, because I was hoping she would be and was disappointed. I mean, she's no Jennifer Hudson, but for her age she was decent on such a big song.
  17. Admit it, every family has one. Discuss her awesomeness herein.
  18. I personally think his performance as Watson is what holds this show together and grounds it in reality. Especially in season 3. He's seriously underestimated, standing in Cumberbatch's formidable shadow.
  19. Cumberbitches, start your engines! (Do try to keep the squealing to a minimum if you can).
