  1. I think Elizabeth Mitchell would be a good co-star with James Denton. She was one of my favorites on Lost and I enjoyed seeing her in The Christmas Club last year on Hallmark. I tend to enjoy the Hallmark movies with "older" leads more. Is Victor Webster doing anything else for Hallmark besides the mystery series with Danica McKellar? She's not one of my favorites so I haven't been watching those movies, but I usually enjoy the stand alone movies with Victor.
  2. I feel the same. I figured this announcement was coming, but it still made me sad. Kendra has such a sweet nature and unlike many of the Duggars actually seems to have a kind heart. If they were to stop having kids here (or even after 4 or 5), I wouldn't be as concerned about her. But we all know that isn't going to happen. In the episode where the guys put together a "spa day" for the women, Austin mentioned to Joe & Ben (I think they were the other two there) how hard it must be for their wives to take care of kids all day. But none of them ever seem to consider that they don't have to take this route of having enormous broods of kids and having them every other year (or faster). I find their entire existence very sad and frustrating because it doesn't have to be this way.
  3. Is it just me or did that portrait look like Jana instead of Jinger?
  4. If I was forced to spend time with either Dorinda or her daughter, I would always choose Dorinda as nasty as she is. Just from Hannah's brief appearances on the show including the few seconds of that phone call this episode, she is insufferable and the kind of 20-something hipster I can't stand. I hope John is living his best life.
  5. At first glance, I wondered why Luann had a picture of John Stamos (circa late 1980s) on her bookshelf. Then I realized it was Luann.
  6. I would rather watch Lolli and Lauren attempt to wrangle the grandkids. But do I really believe they watched the grandkids all by themselves? Absolutely not.
  7. Just now watched this episode. Ramona is still single because she compares everyone to Mario and no one measures up. I'm 99% sure she would take him back. I'm also 99% sure he will never do that. I'm guessing he's not lacking female attention down in Palm Beach. The party was kind of a let down except for the producers numbering Ramona's friends and the last 2 minutes. I feel sorry for Sonja and have for years. I know she brings on so much of this herself with poor decisions, but I have a soft spot for her.
  8. I have wondered the same thing - why no Christmas mysteries on the Movies & Mysteries channel? That seems like a missed opportunity. Mystery 101 is the only mystery series I watch and I would love to see a Christmas installment.
  9. I have really enjoyed the past 2 recap episodes, but it's also been a painful reminder that this show is far from what it once was. The Bachelor & Bachelorette were always must-watch-live TV for me, but I actually skipped Peter's season altogether. My interest really started to drop during Colton and Hannah's seasons. When the leads and the majority of the contestants started being younger than me and only there for Instagram fame, I started to check out. I'm cautiously optimistic about Clare's season since she's older and they re-casted with more men over 30. The producers ought to be thanking Brad for his decision to not pick anyone. That decision has been fodder for them for years. And I still don't understand why Deanna got all the attention as if she was the only one he didn't pick. He rejected both Jenni and Deanna. Kudos to Jenni & Chantal for staying away from Bachelor Nation. Going back to the recap of Trista's season, I was so glad to see Charlie again. I had such a crush on him & thought Trista should've picked him. I'm never into the guys who sing or write poems for the leads, so Ryan didn't do much for me. But it was quickly apparent that Trista & Ryan were the real deal, and I'm happy they have lasted. She made the right decision for her.
  10. Thank you for pointing out the "Jeer" pronunciation of Jeremiah's nickname. The way the Duggars say it bugs the hell out of me. I'm still laughing today at the twins sharing a bedroom at that house. But it's sad that they don't have any non-fundie buddies to give them absolute hell for that and tell them how ridiculous it is. I also noted the lack of appropriate footwear at the corn maze. My feet would look & feel awful for days if I did something like that. Poor Henry - already wandering off when Jessa & Ben only have 3 kids to look after. He's going to get lost in the shuffle in so many ways as they add more kids.
  11. I'm ready for Josh Holloway to appear in more than 1 scene per episode. It feels like they are wasting him so far. Overall, the season is just plodding along. Also, was the governor really allowed to go up to that camp without her security detail?
  12. I finally finished the series this week. Cheesy doesn't even begin to describe this show, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Whenever I watched Fuller House, it was an escape. It took me back to watching the original show as a child, when life was so much easier and simpler. I wish they would do the occasional movie for Netflix. There's something comforting about knowing what the Tanners & Gibblers are up to. My biggest gripe is that Danny and Vickie didn't end up together. Even as a little kid, I shipped them. I was pulling for DJ & Matt early on in the series, but I knew Steve and DJ were inevitable. And I grew to like DJ & Steve again as the series went on.
  13. I couldn't agree more with this post. I'm no longer looking forward to DWTS coming back, in a year when a lot of us really need things to look forward to. Like you said DWTS is a silly show, but it's TV comfort food and Tom was a huge part of that. I can't wrap my mind around TPTB looking at DWTS and thinking "you know what will make this show better - getting rid of Tom." How does one come to that conclusion? I thought getting rid of Sharna & Artem was ridiculous but this decision is on another level. I saw someone mention Hannah Brown as a possibility for replacing Erin. No, just no.
  14. I prefer Lucas over Nathan in terms of the actors and characters, but Lucas and Elizabeth are just painful to watch this season. I was cringing so hard during some of their scenes last night. Maybe it’s just that Erin Krakow is doing a good job of playing “woman who feels conflicted about dating again.” I don’t know.
  15. Are Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum still together in real life? I remember reading they were (are?) a couple when I first started watching this show.
  16. I couldn't agree more with this sentiment. It was nice to have a distraction last night. I appreciate the Hallmark movies and their predictableness even more these days. I really enjoy the chemistry between Kristopher and Jill. Liked them in Pearl in Paradise too. Hope they will do some other movies together in addition to the Mystery101s.
  17. I agree with this. She will end up with Nathan. They aren't going to have her disappoint Ally too. Speaking of Ally, she was already annoying, but now they have her openly shipping Elizabeth and Nathan which makes her annoyingness skyrocket.
  18. I personally prefer Lucas over Nathan. IMO, Lucas is more attractive and is the more dynamic character. But Nathan seems better matched for Elizabeth. I agree with those who say they are dull together, but they seem well-matched in their dullness. I think Fiona & Lucas could have potential. But I don't know if the show will go there because that could take the focus off Elizabeth and her search for love again. I'm with you @bybrandy - I couldn't care less about Jesse and Clara's wedding. I'm not even 100% sure I have their names right.
  19. I bet those latest pictures weren’t even taken on a Sunday.
  20. I quit watching this show for awhile. When did Pastor Frank leave? Is he gone for good? I liked him. Talking about the characters' clothes and appearances, there is something about Carson that makes him look completely out of place here. He's hot, definitely. But every time he's on screen, I think why is a guy from current day walking around Hope Valley in the early 1900s?
  21. Jeremy did an IG live last night from their house. The large TV mounted on the living room wall stood out. Have we seen that when they film Counting On there?
