  1. While his meaty, yummy legs, and the space between them, IS mesmerizing? It's his face that kills me. He's all "Oh yeah, I'm dancin', lookit my mooooves..." I never get sick of it. Expect to see it pop up at odd times. ;)
  2. normasm, if you go to 'my content' and toggle 'only posts' to the left, all of your contributions will come up in chronological order, from most recent. :)
  3. I'm in the minority because I liked the pasta party. Silly or not, that's what families do - if there's a riff they force everyone to get together in one place to either start some healing or hash it out. Doubtless an hour show doesn't have the time to cover every second of the process, but I thought it rang true. Further, Reid showing up late (he's never late) was a good indicator of his reluctance, imo. I'm in agreement with your last statement, zannej.
  4. And I reserve the right to comment on your views, as you always do mine. I'm aware we disagree, it's just that I'm right and you aren't. Ohmygod I'm totally kidding! :P CobaltStargazer, I don't know that JJ was trying to make it about that, just that she was trying to suss out his reasons. Again, I do think in her mind it was her duty, and she was protecting them. She may have even thought they might have thanked her, when going 'by the book'. Not factoring in his sensitivity and his abandonment issues was her error, but I think she needed to hear it from him to realize that.
  5. Yeah, no. That didn't happen at all, normasm. lol
  6. Heh, 'mutant lungs'. There's something about watching Cher act that I love. Couldn't care less about her videos or stage performances... but damn the woman is a really good actor.
  7. Yeah, unless you're Dennis Haysbert with that baritone voice or James Earl Jones who is still making millions from saying three words "This is CNN", there aren't many jobs out there for that kinda thing. And yes normasm, I do agree I don't want to see him shillin'. ;)
  8. I do so love his response "You think this is about my profiling skills? Jennifer listen, the only way you were able my manage my perceptions is because I trusted you..." From that point on is where she starts tearing up. She knows he's right. Still, I know in JJ's heart she felt that at the time she was doing the right thing. Protecting him, protecting them. There's no way she kept it from him out of spite or malice of any sort.
  9. Ooh! Make it JJ! LOL can you see her face when she woke up? xD
  10. As genial as Thomas appears to be in real life, and as much as I liked him as Greg, I still love him best as Hotch. I think it's his best role of his entire career. I just watched Pleasure Is My Business again and it would just be... criminal... if he left to go sell insurance. Also doesn't he have 3 kids? I thought there was a daughter and two sons...
  11. I'm sure since they spent so much fucking money on 200 (seriously can you imagine how expensive that bloated, overblown ep must've cost?), they had to justify it. I couldn't believe all the fans who said they loved it. Ugh. But hey, I liked The Black Queen, except for not really grokking the actual UnSub's motivation.
  12. Righto. "Both my episodes this season had babies... babies and make-out scenes." Then he makes that "That's how I roll" face... heh.
  13. Also here's my current favorite shot of Mr. Expressive:
  14. I'm also reminded of this scene from Season 3 of Buffy. Willow has been caught kissing Xander by Oz, her boyfriend. Willow is consumed by guilt. Oz is hurt and has been avoiding her, but she catches up with him in the school hallway. WILLOW: Oz. Wait. Please? What I did....When I think that I hurt you... OZ: Yeah, you said all this stuff already. WILLOW: Right. But, I want to make it up to you. I mean, if you let me, I want to try. OZ: Just....you can leave me alone. I need to figure things out. WILLOW: But, maybe if we talk about it, we could... OZ: Look, I'm sorry this is hard for you. But I told you what I need. So, I can't help feeling like the reason you want to talk is so you can feel better about yourself. That's not my problem. Italics and bolding are mine, and I think he hit it square. I think that was absolutely JJ's motivation in pestering Reid. But she was also trying to show him she cares about his feelings by trying to get him to discuss it, air it, with her.
  15. I thought the fight was great, though. I loved seeing him needle her, then give her the business when she asked for it. I like how it affected her, too. Matthew has said that he thinks it's funny when Reid gets angry because he expresses it through passive-aggression (which, true, it isn't very professional, but it IS very human). It must be fun to act it anyway, considering Spencer is usually so sensible.
  16. We don't even know how it will play out, though I do wonder if they learned anything from 8.
  17. But his grief was on full display on JJ's couch every single night for a couple of months, not Aaron's. A true friend would've told him. As zannej said, it's hard to believe that the threat of Doyle was so intense that she couldn't whisper in his ear. Reid would keep the secret, and it would have given him respite from his horrible sadness. She should have told him, just him, and I think in retrospect, she would have. Still, right or wrong, that's how JJ operates. She did the same thing in Amplification when she didn't tell Will about the anthrax in the park.
  18. You don't know that it will be stupid, any more than I know it will be cool. If MMC wishes to embody positivity? That's every bit as valid as your trepidation.
  19. Like maybe better casting for the UnSub. I love, LOVE Luke Skywalker, and he is a good actor... but he was a bad Replicator.
  20. What? What's so stupid? It might be cool!
  21. I saw it. The parts that got me were when he was sharing anecdotes, and his eyes were all squinty and he had this amazing beard and you could tell he was loving remembering the moments. I thought Pam Dawber was a little 'off' in some parts, but I chalk that up to bad editing, and I absolutely LOVED how everyone was universal in their praise of his talent, and of his humanity, in equal measure.
  22. Back when I used to watch soaps, Y&R was a never-miss. I loved Shemar as Malcolm but was never 'in lurrve' with him like so many ladies. Jack Abbot was more my style. But this is a really cute clip, and I admit I didn't watch the show cuz Willow and I were at the doc, but I do want to see his appearance, just for olde tymes sake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjFKEDgefAc
  23. Ugh, at the ER with Willow, possible strep. :(
