I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to Marjan early on. I didn't realize she had an arranged marriage setup that went blooey and didn't know until this episode she felt the need for chaperones for dates. I knew she wore her head covering and felt she couldn't take it off in front of others but her TikTok antics suggested she was not as conservative as the head covering suggested. I did enjoy the scenes of dates and the chaperones though Loved seeing that jerky couple taken down a few pegs

it would actually be like initially naming Disney+ Marvel+. The HBO folks reportedly don’t want HBO in the streamer name and reportedly many users are turned off by the HBO name because let’s face it, HBO is boutique. But HBO itself isn’t going away. It will still be the name of the linear channel and will be a hub on Max. I just think Max is too generic but I guess they didn’t want to name it Warner+ or WarnerMax

Man, I hope Billy Porter and J. Harrison Ghee at least get nominated as director and lead actor respectively for "Robyn's Story"; that was a really compelling episode and the best of the season in spite of some logical flaws on the legal side

I’m sorry to say none of the sketches in the premiere made me laugh

For cooking oil waste I use little bags (I don’t know the material, maybe cardboard) from Amazon that can be closed so it doesn’t leak and then throw the bag away when it’s full. Even with turning the cooking waste into biodegradable, I don’t think I want to throw it in the garbage without putting it in some sort of container first The tong thing seems pointless and maybe a novelty item as there are plenty of cheap tong utensils you can buy

I see Alexis had a flashback this episode that had Gregory telling Alexis he was sick. I don’t recall this scene so it may have been part of a news interruption and I failed to catch up. For those who saw it, did he say what his specific illness was?

This Victor story is giving me flashbacks to Luke and Laura’s Ice Princess caper in the early 80s. Given the Laura flashback on the Haunted Star that we recently had among other things, it seems the show wants us to feel the nostalgia as well

I don’t think Trina took the walkie talkie, it appears she left it on top of a piece of equipment (instead of with the other walkie talkies) and then picked up her own phone

I think Charles had a hip replacement. I wouldn’t be surprised if things like that, plus the pandemic and people getting sick, caused various storylines to be delayed

As I recall he appeared at the beginning (maybe just the first episode or two?) and then we didn’t really see him other than his body wandering around in the background on occasion Wandering around in the background of the mansion I think

This was a really enjoyable episode between Pete’s daughter’s wedding and Isaac and Alberta teaming up. I hope we get more of the latter
