I don’t believe Austin is there to help Ava or sleep with her. That leaves revenge and/or financial gain. Another convoluted plot that will end in a wimper. Ava wearing a circa 1978 disco dress to a wedding is… a choice. NC needs a haircut with that tux but Marcus looks FINE. I hope we’ll get to see grandpa and son dressed up on Monday, but probably not with that cliffhanger.

Genie looked so much better with just a bit of colour and a necklace, why they insist on keeping her in dowdy wear is beyond me. Wish she would get a more flattering haircut too, but apparently the legacy look is what she prefers. The top of Joss’ dress looked like she was ready for a burlesque routine - not good. Trina looks like she’s going to the prom. She’s petite, not a teenager show. Teri (Cassandra) looked fabulous though, red is our colour. 😍 What is that wedding dress atrocity! They’re just leaving Nik smelling, in the closet. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. The less I watch Martyr Willow, the better my blood pressure.

I was trying to avoid listening to “the pitch”, but did Jill essentially say Sally’s life was a dumpster fire? Glass houses much, Jill. You know who can easily make you lose your dream Sally? Your belly baby! Aargh!! It is 100% Adam’s and Nick, with all his money and clout, will bow out no matter what he says. And you’ll still be stuck with the grandfather from hell.

I don’t understand why this wasn’t shown though. They had the actor available, it’s not fun to play dead but we would know for sure. Now it’s more like the Peter story where he was diagnosed dead by two medical professionals, put in a fridge and left there for months until “surprise”, he isn’t. Copy and paste. Unless Austin saw Nik wasn’t dead but didn’t tell Ava because he wants to… control her and her money? Everything is so weird, like Ava just going to bed and asking Austin to stay, off camera. It doesn’t seem like her to be overwhelmed by trauma enough to forget Austin was even there and have a lie down before disposing of the body. In other news, that is still one cute baby though and with a lot to say, apparently. 😂

Said that in jest weeks ago and got raked over the coals. 🤣 If he’s dead, I hope for a Victor intervention and this: If not, it’s a really sad end for a legacy character, son of an epic character. Meanwhile we got the Britt glorious death marathon.

No one is mentioning how hot Trina’s grandpa is? 😎 I would trade him for Hat Man in a heartbeat. Portia’s brother isn’t too bad either. I would have them both stay. I’m also hoping that Nik is gone and not dead. Not sure where Austin/Ava will lead. I see good partner in crime chemistry but nothing more.

Which is why it’ll be the last time we see them together, as with Sharon who went back to zero chemistry scene mates in a flash. Very disheartening.

There is no reason why Sally, with all her smarts and experience, would not even envision the abortion option except for sensibilities/cowardice of the writers/producers/whatever so it comes out as a lack of agency. Pretty gross.

I see TSJ likes to ad-lib in his scenes and MG had an honest laugh there. We need more of this because whatever is written on the page is trite, for example: Right on the heels of more damn baby scenes. They even made my Jill sound so ridiculous I had to skip most of her lines.

After today’s ep, are we betting on a prolonged coma? Amnesia? Dead as a doornail? I’m hoping for anything that doesn’t bring my Ava to jail and terrible clothing. The questionable hair is bad enough. So silly though that they did not make Nik see Ava as an ally through all of this. Kudos to Laura for trying to bring some reality to Spencer baby plans, sadly to no avail.

Victoria bringing a bottle of expensive whatever and drinking it with Nate on the couch Adam and Sally had sex numerous times on was SO cringe and pretty predatory. Not one ounce of sexy there. Yuck. I want Elena to kick him to the curb ASAP. I’m seeing her being kidnapped by Stark with everyone else thinking she left. Jack can’t seem to catch a break, but PB still looks great in a tux.

Wish we had a countdown to Nik disappearing. Today I thought he was going to die saving Ava from Baldy, now I’m worried about Ava killing him. Was that Wyndemere? I thought she was still living at Nina’s. The Nik/Laura/Spencer was a bit weird to me with Laura moving from one to the other looking like a know nothing pingpong ball. I did like Spencer using the words from the video though, landing the gut punch yet hiding the truth from Laura.

Oh great, I was super happy with the Adam/Jack relationship yesterday and today, Adam’s “coasting” because he doesn’t like his job and Victor is right? Crap on toast show, giving it and taking if away! Jack was great in telling Kyle he wouldn’t fire Adam for Victor or him though. Writing on the wall: the Jack & Diane relationship will implode shortly. Phyllis being about the long game? No way in heck. In the shallow end, really appreciate the new Nikki styling, she looked great today.

Maybe, but it has lost the specialness now and would seem to me like a pale copy.

I really liked the Britt character and will miss her, but the party and the memorial service were overkill, they should’ve picked one. And I’m irate at them giving her a spot on the wall of honour with Lila, Dr. Hardy, Dr. Alan Quatermaine (which we only have a split second to see), and other beloved longtime actors who have passed, when the actress is thriving and alive. I would’ve understood adding Sonya Eddy, but not Britt. They really are throwing Nik’s character to the wolves, showing him becoming more and more unhinged and abusive, as well as serving him to Ryan and Heather. The actress is really doing a great job of appearing considerate and ruthless. Respect. Spencer spending most of his time in the chapel pondering what to do with the recording is ridiculous. “Would you mind giving us the chapel?” Indeed. How dismissive of Trina. Yuck.

Very happy Adam went to Jack with the Kyle/Victor stuff. Hopefully we’re done with Kyle being Victor’s errand boy. Nick was right that Jack could be a great mentor for him and it’s rare that we see this type of supportive relationship on soaps. I’m also quite over the ridiculousness of the IPO story, I want it to end.

Why was Harmony wearing black? That wasn’t very heavenly. Maybe she was taking Willow down instead of up? Would’ve loved to have seen that. 😂 True, but I hope for better for Trina than being a support for a self-centered immature being. She does enough of that with Joss. That is one adorable baby though.

I think it just means that he’s not a temporary replacement, as MC won’t be back. It doesn’t mean the character won’t be written off shortly. The writing is pretty on the wall about that.

It’s the new look men of a certain age use to avoid showing their looser jawlines. Most look unkept. Having two parents of way adult children (Victor and Phyllis) meddle in their personal lives is so icky. Shutters. I like the Adam option a lot. How come everyone says “Jack & Diane” instead of “Diane & Jack”? Do we all remember the song? 😁

Did I miss the scene where either Niks threatened Liz’ mom to get her onboard to manipulate Esmé? In the last scene I remember she said no and left Wyndemere. When I saw TempNik I laughed out loud remembering how much people here can’t stand him. 😂 Does anyone think Willow will not be brought back to life? Sigh.

Yes, I see a “Willow in a coma” immediate future and them closing ranks against Nina under the guise of “that’s what Willow would’ve wanted”.

I’m worried about Nina going off script and apparently, so is Sonny. 😂 I thought that her convo with Willow was fine, she didn’t tell her she didn’t want to have anything to do with her like she said, just that she didn’t know her well enough to spill her guts to her, which is perfectly fair and a much better reaction than she’s had towards her so far. I never thought I would say this, but I like Sasha now and it was nice to see her have a good convo with Maxie, although the nail props were a bit much. IIRC, you really don’t leave your hands there very long. “I can’t touch you, my nails are wet!” Whatever. Glad that the garage story is out to more people before the Gladys tornado does any damage. I can’t either. It’s so high school and demeaning to the actresses. Good thing Anna and Valentine weren’t caught in flagrante by his daughter. Are more than middle age couple into sex that much? Yes. The only exception is DOOL, as they just had an abortion story. They may have known they were moving to streaming only in the States at the time though, as they film 6 months ahead. Y&R is also very baby crazy.
