  1. I too am uninterested in the Harvey romance and the high school girlfriends. As an older adult myself, Chaos Theory, I was annoyed that Sabrina just had to go to the party and am wondering why the aunts didn't throw her a birthday party so they could keep an eye on her so she wouldn't be late to the Dark Baptism.
  2. Witchcraft is a practice, with a skill set. It's not an actual religion. Practitioners of witchcraft are called witches. Males are oftentimes referred to as warlocks, but in some circles the original meaning is kept, and that is the non-gender practitioner of black magic (evil magic). Wicca is a religion that has been around since 1954 and is based on Paganism, with a new age and contemporary feel. Wicca and Paganism are officially recognized by the U.S. military. The pentacle was approved in 2007 as an emblem on military gravestones. There can be witches who are Satanists, or devil worshipers, but not all witches believe in Satan, or are actively anti-Christian. There are independent witches who practice their beliefs alone, some belong to a coven, are from a family of witches, or have to hide it from their families. Hope this helps a little. There is a lot to learn about the different forms of witchcraft! The non-mortal witches in this series are more of the vampire myth variety. IRL witches are basically humans who practice witchcraft.
  3. Hi MissBluxom, nice to meet you as well. I was just making fun of the handcuffs and rope you suggested, in a good way, not making fun of you at all! Thanks for the info! I'll be watching Leah & Mike's show to be sure. I agree that the cabbage head of the CO$ should be tried of some crimes. I can't believe the FBI aren't investigating them, unless they are and will eventually have a case for him/them to be prosecuted. I wonder how the Scamatologists get away with the relentless harassment of Leah, Mike, and their crew and other people. It just goes to show you what evil lurks in the hearts of this crazy cult!
  4. Do you mean the Elfmans should have practiced bondage (BDSM) or are you just using "literally binding them together in marriage"? LOL. Hell of Scamatology! Good one! :D
  5. I was fully expecting Toby to be late for the 4:00 phone call because he would be, for the drama. I was fully expecting Kate to have gotten the results of the IVF attempt over the phone alone, and jumping (not literally) all over Toby for being late, and having her bear the bad news that none of the eggs got fertilized, and as almost everyone likes to point out that Kate is selfish, only about herself. Surprise! I was really happy for Kate and Toby, and liked how Kate didn't care that Toby was late, and then immediately took over caring for him when he started the breakdown.
  6. I am quoting myself so ya'll can read what I wrote again. I did not say Mark Healy is dressed as Lolita. The point the OP YEAH NO made and to which I replied was regarding the sexualizing of children, not their dress, as in girls being tomboys vs. skirt-wearing boys, pink and blue, etc. Also, I'd like to point out that the Conners, mainly Dan, initially questioned Mark's wardrobe choices and Darlene's attitude was let him do what he wants to do, but in one episode of the Roseanne reboot, she wanted him to pack a pair of pants and shirt "just in case." Dan didn't want Mark to decorate the birdhouses the two were making together with glitter. This was the storyline they were going with and it seems to have continued in The Conners. It seems to me that Mark has decided not only he likes "colors that pop" and wearing skirts and knee-high socks (which I originally called stockings; I did not mean pantyhose), but that he is attracted to boys. I believe YEAH NO and I were questioning the promotion of little boys or girls choosing partners who they like in a sexual way.
  7. Mark has been dressing in skirts, stockings and glitter since he's been on the Roseanne reboot. He has not dressed like a little boy.
  8. I don't think you're confused. Let's reverse this. Say Mark was Michelle, Darlene and David's daughter, who is 9-11 (the actor who plays Mark Conner Healy is age 12). She gets dressed up and made up like a Lolita and Dan is helping her decide which boy she should choose as her seatmate on the bus for the school field trip. Would this fly? Probably not. It would be sexualizing a little girl. The reverse is OK because Mark is acknowledging his gayness and "coming out" so it's the PC thing to do. According to some people anyway.
  9. Ice-T Arrested in NYC by Port Authority Police
  10. Declaring you were a homosexual back then would not guarantee you get rejected for the draft. That was a common ruse used by those who didn't want to go to Nam. You would probably get your ass kicked, told you weren't gay, and when to report to boot camp. Acting gay back then was comic relief for M*A*S*H but in real life the "openly gay" members of the military were either ostracized, given mental illness discharge, which would follow you for the rest of your life, or just tolerated if you were very, very lucky. You cannot apply today's laws, standards and sensibilities to what happened in the Vietnam conflict era.
  11. It would be a good idea to actually watch the show before making comments about what happened that you don't know about yet. So, was this REAL or SNARK?
  12. Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. You win the Internet today. Seriously. This is the only TIU episode that left me in tears.
  13. Cold open: What a twist! Instead of Benoah, we got Rollins and baby Jesse! Creepy Dapper Don Doctor shows up with sunflowers a la Vincent Van Gogh, and it's all good from there on. The hooker hound doc really loves kids! Last scene: They used the whole soap box of soap to sell that scene. I could almost see the suds rising from the bottom of my screen. Middle: Good stuff from Fin, as usual. Carisi held his own. Aww, how sweet. Amanda is keeping the baby! Thank God she gave Dr. Creepface notice; hopefully that's the last we'll see of him. He was such a mensch for offering to pay for an abortion though, wasn't he? I liked the Federal Judge, regardless of her smackdown of Benson; that was just hot fudge on the sundae for me. Why they didn't haul Benson out of court in handcuffs or the judge find her in contempt, I don't know. I guess Saint Olivia has friends in high places and can get away with soap opera theatrics whenever she wants, wherever. What happened to what was supposed to be the core story of Uncle Luke and his harem of girls? That's the story that should've been told; instead it was a nothing burger in this shit sandwich.
  14. Please, no abortions or incestuous hookups. This is a sitcom, even if they have A Very Special Episode. Not a fan of miscarriages either, so if and when an unexpected baby comes, I hope it's healthy and happy!
  15. I hadn't thought of this. Blue, who is David's girlfriend who we will soon met in the persona of Juliette Lewis. The actress is 45 now though. Johnny Galecki (David) is 43. Lecy Goranson (Becky) is 44. Since Jackie is out, does that leave Harris? Emma Kenney is 19 playing a 15 year old. Questions, questions...
  16. It will be interesting to see if Roseanne Barr's previous revelation that Roseanne Conner dies from an opioid overdose is true. The Show could have her die on the operating table or from complications from the knee surgery she finally got, leaving open a medical malpractice lawsuit that would IRL go on for years, but in TV Land, would give the Conners a big monetary windfall. I too wonder if the show is going to be all about Darlene with a new love interest, ex-husband, her kids and if Darlene will be living in the house with her recently widowed father, Dan. Unexpected pregnancy: Whoo boy, are we going with this trope here? It could be Darlene (is it new BF or Johnny Galecki's character from a one-night stand for the drama), Becky (from some encounter somewhere which is a surprise because she couldn't do the surrogacy thing), or Harris? I think Jackie is too old, but it could be a late-in-life pregnancy if she hasn't gone through menopause yet. I will tune in to see The New Show Without Roseanne just out of curiosity for beginners.
