  1. I don't know about Washington but in GA if the parents are not separated and the children are living with them unfortunately the grandparents have no rights. I agree that what Zach and Tori have done is blackmail, no farm no grandchildren. They are despicable. Grandparents are very important in the lives of children. It is sad what Tori and Zach have done. But they have shown their true selves.
  2. That baseball cake most likely came from Publix bakery. They have all sorts of cakes to choose from and baseball cakes are common. That baseball cake didn't look special to me.
  3. Watching one's budget does not say to me that they are strapped for cash. Maybe it means that they live within their means. I have no knowledge of their bank balance or their income and expenses to know if they are strapped for cash.
  4. They are strapped for cash? Where did this come from? John is part owner of Webster air conditioning. He probably makes a decent living.
  5. I thought that at least Caryn said they wanted a small wedding. I think they are entitled to be happy. Weren't we treated to en entire season built around Amy's second wedding complete with her bitching and complaining about Matt the entire time? Amy was miserable being married to Matt. Amy is miserable being divorced from Matt. And she will be miserable when Matt and Caryn are married. That's her personality. She sucks the joy out of the room as soon as she enters.
  6. I had the impression that Jackson wasn't interested in playing soccer. Zach will probably force him to play because that was his sport regardless of whether Jackson wants to play or not. Zach riding around on the tractor just pushing dirt around is ridiculous. Is he pretending to be a farmer?
  7. That's correct. New York almost always starts filming for a new season in the fall. The last season filmed in the fall of 2022 and premiered in July of 2023. If filming hasn't started by now I wonder what this bodes for RhoNY. Andy with all of his bragging that the reboot was a smash hit could not convince people to watch.
  8. Yeah Zach keeps saying that Matt screwed over the family. No he did not. The rest of the family wasn't going to get anything out of this deal. Zach was the one who wanted to screw over the family by getting the best part of the farm at a cut rate price. In the normal course of things most children wait for the parents to die before they receive their inheritance. Matt has 4 children not one. The fair thing to do is for the farm to be part of Matt's estate and have everything divided 4 ways when Matt passes. But no Zach wants his share and more now. If I were Matt I wouldn't leave a dime to Zach and his sour puss wife. But I would put their share intrust for Si, Jackson and Lylah,
  9. The police report that in touch weekly is quoting makes no sense at all.
  10. It is hard for me to watch this show and see how the parents let Jackson pound on Lylah. Not once did Zach correct Jackson. Zach would look over at the tiff between the kids and just callout Lylah's name over and over. Never once did he say knock it off to Jackson. Before Tori left for the trip she had to treat us to recitation of how smart Jackson was and how she was going to miss him. I am sure that they love Lylah but this constant heaping of praise on Jackson and either ignoring Lylah or making fun of her is getting old. I am afraid that they are turning Jackson into a mean little kid who thinks he can get away with anything.
  11. There is no pain greater than that of losing a child. My heart is breaking for Janelle, for Gabe and the rest of the family.
  12. What happened in the bedroom when Eileen either fell or broke something and some crew members went rushing in? I missed this part. She is a dangerous drunk.
  13. Over the weekend the entire home shopping forum was.closed. Everything gone.
  14. But the question is why do the husbands want this for their wives? Do they really want their wives and the mother of their children to be worn out tired and depressed in their late 20's and 30's? It is mystery to me why anyone thinks this is a good life.
  15. I wonder if part of Alyssa's problem is that she is turning 30 this year and her 10 wedding anniversary is coming up and she has 5 kids ranging in age from 1 -9 maybe she is just worn out and sees her youth slipping away in her mind anyway and sees no out. It's kind of curious that after this last child John is now working from home. It's been my theory all along that having babies doesn't solve problems like depression it just adds to the problem. I bet that Alyssa has some resentment to being cooped up in the house with 5 kids home schooling some and taking care of a toddler and an infant. She probably feels exhausted and trapped. I know I would. It's so sad that some of the Bates girls see themselves as breeding machines and they don't enjoy the best years of their lives.
  16. What video is this? Is it one the show? I must have missed it.
  17. I thought that he tried working in the office before and he didn't like it and said he was happy to get back out in the field. Kelly and Gil sure did impress upon her children that the husbands need to work from home. So far only Kelton and Bobby seem to be able to hold down a job away from the home. But I don't have any idea what Trace, and the other recently married guy do for a living.
  18. When they were talking about the move Katie was grinning from ear to ear. Travis was more subdued. At one point I thought he was starting to tear up. I think it will be hard on him because he is very close to his brother. I hope for Travis's sake this is a good career move because if it is not he is stuck with the Bates. I can't see Katie wanting to return to New Jersey.
  19. Chris seems to enjoy his time with Matt and the other guys way more than when he is with Amy. With Amy he always looks a little nervous and guarded about what he says probably because he knows at any time she will blow a gasket about some perceived slight.
  20. Well maybe but I give him the benefit of the doubt that he is not moving to Tennessee to work for BSB. He seems very committed to his music career. If he does do something stupid like working for BSB then I'll change my opinion. But until then I would not call him an entitled lazy selfish twat. I've seen no evidence of this.
  21. Showing my age here. I couldn't stop thinking about that nursery rhyme from way back in the day: "There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead and when she was good she was very good and when she was bad she was horrid."
  22. Amy will never ever appreciate anything that Matt does for her. She and Chris had their wedding on the farm and Matt went out of his way to accommodate Amy's wishes and desires for the wedding. Matt could sign over the entire farm to her today and she would explode with anger saying oh you expect me to clean up your mess.
  23. I enjoy seeing Matt and Caryn together. They seem very comfortable with each other. I have never seen Caryn snipe and pick at things the way that Amy did with Matt and to some extent with Chris. With Amy, Matt has to walk on eggshells and Chris has to put up with her or suffer her wrath. The bowling alley scene with Jackson telling everyone what to do and Tori encouraging him was hard to watch. Lilah was dancing around before class and Jackson was giving her instructions on how to twirl. Neither parent said anything encouraging to Lilah they just watched her fall twice. And of course mom of the year Tori had to tell everyone that Lilah peed her pants at dance class.
  24. The girls all got individual parties when they were Rhett's age. So if this one year they do a joint party so what. It seems like they are all picking a theme and having lots of friends. The kids won't mind.
