  1. Ha ha. I will substitute that every time I hear them say, "you are my person." You Are my lobster is so much better in my opinion.
  2. Hilarious? No. Making her dead to me (after a full season of her hillbilly hijinx)? Yes. I never want to see that bitch again. I guess you could say I feel as strongly about her as Mu Shu does about Joe. (<3)
  3. I read the tweets too, and Jenna telling her lover that she is better than Jordan, was probably the most cutting of all to him. I think they're comparing apples to oranges, The feud looked fake, in both shows. I like Jordan and find him funny, but definitely not the best actor. All of his feuds and jealousies didn't look realistic to me at all, although I do think that he and Benoit innately, instinctively disliked each other. But I believe his feelings for Jenna were real, or at least he thought they were. Over the top, just like his personality, but not created for the show like his entertainer persona. Agreed, although I did like him on The Bachelorette. He was obviously cast as the villain, but was too funny not to charm me with his model and fashion talk. I think Joe WAS into Kendall, but once he walked away from her and thought about everything that happened, he came to his senses. Too bad he wasted so much time on her. I think Jacqueline would have been a much better match. Oh well, at least I will get to enjoy him on DWTS. I haven't watched it for a few seasons, but I definitely will with his inclusion. I expect Kendall to quietly drift out of the picture after we've seen her in the front row for a couple of shows, then inevitably she will be back on BIP. And with a tarnished reputation, in my opinion.
  4. so the audience could boo him, of course! I found it a bit entertaining. I always found Bachelor Pad to be dirty (kiss all the other bachies and identify them after being blindfolded). It was like a really terrible extended high school party! But fun! I did find that a couple would stick together thru thick and thin - forget about a love connection though - just for the money at the end. I think they switched the show to BIP to get back to their core mission of finding "reality love' for its cast. Yeah, funny concept to me (born again virginity). Does that mean you have to go back to bad techniques? Sean is a bit of a shady character anyway, in my book. I read his ghost written autobiography (found it at a house while cat sitting there for a month). He was the frontline member of a mortgage business that took on subprime clients. Lost family friends quite a bit of $$ that he couldn't replace. Unless all of these Bachelor related businesses are giving him the funds to pay them back. Interesting point, maybe everyone speaks and they heavily edit it for dramatic interest. Usually those kinds of things are live, so I tend to think that they just ignore some of the interesting side characters. As we've seen on BIP, some of the potentially interesting people that had little to none camera time on the primary show, turn out to be kind of nasty but still uninteresting. I would have liked the women to question Venmo John, possibly the most unlikely player BIP has ever had. If he had just stuck to appearing on The Bachelorette, I think it would have done wonders for his dating life. Now most women wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. So so disappointing. My favourite conversation of the season occurred on his date with Jubilee. It was interesting and intelligent. I was so excited, thinking that we finally had a mature relationship to root for, and then before I know it, Jubilee is gone and he is going thru several women. It's unfortunate that I fell asleep thru several moments of this season's shows, because I just couldn't figure out what happened or why. (I blame my job at the time, not the show. Although I wasn't motivated to go back and watch them again). I think I realized that was it for him, he was just going for quantity not quality. If you re-read that tweet, you'll notice that he is saying that he ISN'T a virgin anymore, since he's married and has a child! (The old-fashioned way, I presume).
  5. Whooo, Kurt Vonnegut reference! I've always felt that Jordan had a lot of the entertainer to him, and the producers encouraged him to go ahead without inhibition. I didn't take his negative comments seriously, nor his bouts of anger. But it looked like his feelings for Jenna were genuine. I have no idea why, I found her pretty charmless and unintelligent from the get go, but that's the way love goes sometimes, I guess. Now when I see photos of her, I see she is as fake as her personality. I hope this whole experience rips apart her fake "business" and we never see a redemption arc or "closure" for Jordan. Here we have a real-life case of a broken heart for The Bachelor, unlike totally manufactured Colton. I am hoping he will come back and headline his own Bachelor one day - maybe in a couple of years. I guarantee it would be fun and interesting, unlike January's Must Miss TV (which I am definitely not watching).
  6. That's what I've heard, and the second season is supposed to be really good. Yes, I had to do something. I was locked out of my account and it wouldn't let me get back in. I think it had something to do with originally registering with a yahoo account and recently yahoo was sold to ~ Verizon? AOL? something that they no longer wanted to accept. I tried using the PreBabylonia but it told me it was already taken. Too bad. I can't access my previous messages and it makes me look like a newbie with posting. I should have gone back to my TWoP name - Babylonia. I think this has happened to other people here. Bannon shows up as a guest and I can't like his posts.
  7. Ah not believable at all. Only one reason he left, I think - Annaliese. He was her second husband "target." I think Jordan was first, Kenny second, then Kamil third. Although there may have been some other random guy before Kamil. Hmmmm I don't think being "white" is a racial bloc. Even if it was, most of us white people are open to watching bachelors and bachelorettes of different colours and backgrounds. I was/am rooting for Jason/Grocery Joe/Diggy/Wills for the Bachelor and not necessarily in that order. I'd now add American Jordan*. Any of them would be fine. Coulton is not. I'm skipping his season. I'm so white I glow in the dark! Yep, Coulton is the vanilla version of a blackhole. Sucking in all energy and excitement. I watched both Rachel and Andi. I initially liked both of them, but they irked me more and more as the season went on. Kind of like my feelings for Kendall in BIP. From what I read, Chris (Goose) sent Jordan screenshots from Reality Steve's website. Jordan said he knew that it was Jenna, just from the way it was written. Reality Steve seemed to think he was legit, and he deals with all these famewhores repeatedly, so I tend to trust his judgement over their legitimacy, once he has actually spoken with them anyway. I have never figured out why anyone would think Jenna was particularly good-looking, let alone beautiful. Her hair is a hideous mess 90% of the time, all dried out and stringy looking. She has kind of a weird, over tanned face and bad posture. Also talks in the wispy fake voice that Krystal adopted during her Arie season. I have seen that weird phenomenon before though, when a woman thinks she is hot shit and it magically mists nearby men into believing there is a good reason for her over-confidence. I like him, I found him to be a legitimately hot, mature man. Compared to the immature bunch most of the other men were this season. Does not suckiling his young'uns mean that you used to find him attractive but no longer do? Yeah, agreed over Kendall though, I originally thought she was fake on Arie's season, then I was won over by her seeming intelligence, now I am back to thinking that is her schtick for reality world fame. She can go far far away. Her hair sometime looks badly processed too but nothing as horrible as Jenna's mane. I think the best thing for Jenna is to cut it all off and go into the witness protection plan. GroJoe Bachelor Nation fans will be coming after her with a machete.
  8. Ah, you are doing so much for my vocabulary! I had to look up duff. I didn't know it was an acronym for designated ugly fat friend.* I certainly don't find Bibliana fat, she strikes me as naturally curvy. Tia has nice (fake) boobs and a fine body for wearing fashionable clothes, but I find her average looking at best. Until she opens her mouth and drops down to a 2 on a scale of 10. I don't know much about Raven since I missed her season luckily, but she proved to be a Mean Girl during last season's BIP and I would gladly throw her into the same black hole I would toss Tia, so I never have to see or hear from either of them again. Thank you to everyone that corrected my Duff acronym, especially Mu Shu. I usually go to Urban Dictionary, so thought they might have had a different definition, but no, it was my memory. Or eyesight. I agree that Bibiana took that role here, but I'm not sure why, unless some of the men had seen her on the Winter Olympics and figured that she would walk away whatever happened. I do find her very attractive, although she came across as highly unstable while on The Bachelor.
  9. ?? What are toofs and who is Eddie Judge? I still like Joe, I think he came across decently and was a nice calming influence on Kendall. She isn't very good at the fake crying, though. Every time she did one of those, she covered her face and looked to the producers to give her direction, as to when to stop. I am not sure if I think they have a nice romantic relationship that is basically casual or if they were asked/told to create one onscreen. Neither of them behaved embarrassingly though, so I could see them going along, especially if it will lead to further opportunities. Incredible amount of fake crying this season too, by both men and women. Chelsea, Colton, Tia, Kendall, etc. Overall the worst season so far, due to all the meddling.
  10. I think Breaking Bad and Fargo are similar in that the protagonists already had that ruthlessness deep within them, it just took circumstance to trigger it out into the open. But Marty is different - yes, he was already involved in the criminal world but since it was white collar crime, he was insulated from the violent surroundings. He seems to be handling the erupting violence fairly well, other than the insomnia. It seems like his wife's unfaithfulness has hit him harder. Definitely a different type of character. I've just started watching myself, Armchair Critic, so I will probably be seeing you in the later episode threads. I like the show but I'm not binging so it will take me a while to get thru it. Unless it turns into Must-see TV.
  11. I laughed so hard when I saw her. It was the real-life version of the stripper/hooker on South Park! I also liked Castle's relationship with his daughter. I actually think Charlotte isn't that bad. She goes from bratty and rude to someone that cares about her family, the highs and lows match many teenagers, from what I recall. I couldn't stand the children on Ray Donovan, I think Charlotte and Jonah are more three dimensional.
  12. Britney and Rachel long ago laid down the hatchet and are friends or at least acquaintances on a good, solid footing. I was a Britney fan back in the day, I found her amazingly witty. And far less mean and nasty than last season's winner, Jessica. Jessica is somebody I hope to never darken my screen again, on ANY reality show, but since she seems to be terminally unemployed, she will probably return to Big Brother over and over in hosting duties. :( I expect Janelle and Britney to be a fairly solid team, as will Nicole and Victor, due mostly to Victor's superb physical skills. Just as long as they read those clues correctly... Everyone mentions Corrine and Eliza over and over, yet I can't really remember either of them, despite having watched their seasons (I think). I'd like the Border Patrol to leave first, followed by Colin and Christie. And social media maven Tyler. From what I recall, he also had a wide mean streak, hidden under that fake hearty video exterior. Any clue when the show will actually air? I am looking forward to this one. I have no interest in the upcoming Bachelor (Colton, yuck!) so this will be my primary reality show to watch. And Alone, if they add a sixth season.
  13. I skipped the Nick season, skipped Kaitlin, Ben Higgins and most of Sean's season. I will skip Colton's as well. He is just too boring and indecisive. Also seems to have a nasty mean streak in him as well, so that clinches it. (Unnecessary baiting and attacking Jordan). I am hoping I will like the next Bachelorette, possibly from a season that I've actually watched. Guess I will be away from Bachelor Nation for quite some time. I am hoping that those ratings go right down, so Fleiss never ignores our desires again.
  14. I think they suspected they would get some other kind of date out of it - so at least they had a nice dinner. That they probably ate once the cameras went away. Maybe even had a chance to enjoy some nice chilling AC.... I watched a show about grown kids picking their dad's new wife. Very entertaining. They chose a very interesting artsy woman with a dark bob and bangs. Very unconventional, and she had a great relationship with the kids as well as the dad. In the end, the show actually left it up to the dad after he found out the kids choice and he....went for the other finalist. She was like a grownup Barbie, or a 40 something Krystal. You just knew it would never work out ultimately. Great concept for a show though. I find they are spending the most time watching other couples and then commenting on them in the video clips. Even more boring. I miss the ridiculous games of Bachelor Pad.
