  1. S2.E12 "Down to the Flipping Studs" New, 2/27/2025 "Tarek's old business partner and friend returns with an offer Tarek can't refuse; Tarek and Heather join him on a property in Long Beach that needs a total rehaul, but this rickety house could crumble their high hopes for a large profit." Jeff the contractor wants Tarek's help with a horrificly bad flip. A member of the cleaning crew fell through the subfloor and suffered a broken leg, so unsafe to enter. They will partner 50/50 on the flip. House stinks, and is piled full of wet furniture and garbage. The entire ceiling has fallen in from water damage. Back yard is horrible with piled garbage and junk, overgrown. They look through the window, and can see the ceiling fell in, and the roof has horrible holes in it. I think house is a gut job. Bought for $430,000 list. Tarek thinks they can remodel for $200,000. To lose money, Tarek says a $350,000 remodel would ruin any profit. They took 120 cubic yards of trash. How out of the house. House seems much worse than they thought. Jeff thinks reno will be $230,000 maybe more. House was gutted to the studs, no drywall left. All of the floor and ceiling joists have to be replaced. It's currently a 2 bed 2 bath, it needs a third bedroom for best resale, which would cost $35,000 to $40,000 with other work. Now there's a firmer estimate for the third bedroom, and bigger kitchen, so 520 sq ft, so $280,000 for the total rehab now. So, $50,000 to make the bedroom and kitchen bigger, should net $130,000 higher sale price. House is nice. They're still using the frosted glass closet doors. I don't like the black tile in the bathroom. Bought for $430,000 Big clean out costs. Reno $307,000 Break even $811,500. List price $1.1 million. $288,000 potentail profit. Sale price $1.12 million. $350,000 profit to split with Jeff.
  2. 27 February “Fair the Truth Lies” New, Season 11, Episode 97 (Garrett Brunnquell vs. Alexandr Lipencov ) From the show site: When a drone pilot returned from a trip to Peru, he found that he had a new roommate. Each tenant in the three-bedroom house had their own lease, and as the senior tenant, he became responsible for collecting their utilities payments. But this new guy allegedly didn't pay his share. Can the judges help him with this unfair situation? Plaintiff/senior tenant Garrett Brunnquell suing Defendant/new roommate Alexandr Lipencov for not paying him for a share of the utilities. Suing for $4,000. There wasn't a signed contract, but defendant still lived there, and has no intention of paying utilities. Defendant says he shouldn't have to pay utilities when he was working elsewhere. Plaintiff receives $3,241. “Real Housewives of the Trailer Park” Rerun, Season 11, Episode 37 p. 52, 30 October 2024 28 February “The Niece Who Broke the Lease” Rerun, Season 10, Episode 173 p. 50, 12 August 2024 “Not in Kansas Anymore” Rerun, Season 11, Episode 48 p. 53, 15 November 2024
  3. I was shocked Thederick kept losing after having that massive lymphedema removed. I'm really hoping Thederick and Lindsey are both living their best lives, and healthy. I'm guessing that was the series finale after 13 seasons, and it was a fitting way to end it.

  6. Did Thederick ever mention to Dr. Now that he will want skin removal, but no one will be helping him? That's not going to work, he will need a caretaker at first. I'm so proud of Lindsey. One reason the apartments look alike is Hurricane Harvey flooding. Lots of apartments flooded, at least the first floor, so many of them were rehabbed, and look pretty much alike. They often are looking for the cheapest apartments, and they all look pretty much alike.
  7. Yes, they're both such phonies. I hate how she's talking about her trauma, when someone else died. Thederick proved me wrong, I love he lost so much, and is getting surgery.
  8. I think a lot of the poundticipants have been so limited in their life for so long, that all they care about is food. They have no intellectual stimulation or interests outside of being dependent, and getting the next batch of empty calories. Lindsey is better off without Paul. I hate how hurt she was by his cheating, but I never thought he was a stable partner.
  9. I think it's to show it's authentic designer merch, and costs a lot.
  10. After J.T. had his lymphedema removed they showed the physical therapists working with him to learn to walk without the mass. I'm sure Thederick will get the same therapy, whether they show it or not.
  11. Thederick's lymphedema was 66 lbs, but probably 80 or more total with blood and fluid that was lost too.
  12. The convenience stores at the gas station all sell pizza 24/7, it's very popular. I wonder if Thederick really cares about anything but losing enough to get that 80 to 100 lbs of lymphedema taken off. I'm betting if he loses 100 lbs or so, and gets the lymphedema off, he'll be happy.
  13. Yes, maybe with other people, but certainly with his alcohol consumption.
  14. Where I live some gas station convenience stores have attached diners, or short order take out. Still vomit inducing to me.
  15. Thederick from Gretna, FL Original episode Season 9 Episode 2, Jan 2021 Lindsey from Hills IA, Original episode Season 8 Episode 2, Jan 2020. Thederick's WATN part was started a year after his original episode. I'm guessing Lindsey was 2021 filming.
  16. I was horrified by the daycare leg injury being blamed on the sibling. Online dating was the one where she had a house in Cali, she moved to AZ with him, and wanted all of her investment in furniture back Here's my recap: Online Dating Fail- Plaintiff Susan Jervis suing defendant/former boyfriend Joseph Russo (met through a dating website), for return of rent and property, and moving costs. Plaintiff went from California to Arizona, defendant moved to Arizona, and then litigants moved in together a few months later, in plaintiff's rental house. Plaintiff lived part time in her late mother's trust house in California, and in a rental house with defendant in Bullhead City, AZ. Litigants only have a lease signed by them, not the landlord. Plaintiff wants her items she bought for the house back, most of which are gone, so she's not getting money for those. Case dismissed.
  17. 26 February “Lights! Camera! No Action” New, Season 11, Episode 95 (Anthony Mack vs. Francisco Siimplicio) From the show site: A videographer takes the stand to defend his right to his raw footage. To his understanding, he was hired to highlight a store's grand opening with a short social media reel. But then the business owner started demanding all five hours of his footage. Is he obligated to hand it over? Plaintiff/store owner Anthony Mack suing defendant / videographer Francisco Simplicio for all of the raw footage of plaintiff's store's grand opening that defendant filmed. Suing for $2500. Defendant believes that raw footage belongs to him to produce the social media reel, but plaintiff wants all of the film. Defendant is counter suing for $5,000. Plaintiff thought defendant would produce the short video, plus all raw footage for the store opening, for five hours of filming. Defendant was paid $200. Defendant says for $200 he filmed, did the short video, and plaintiff could get someone else to edit and produce other things. Kwench is the water filter business/franchise owned by plaintiff and daughter. Short video is very good. Corriero says videographer holds the copyright to the raw footage, and edited video. There are texts between plaintiff's daughter Crystal, and defendant, about the raw footage. Defendant offered to sell copyright for all of the footage to plaintiff. Sonia, the court officer, has to tell the defendant to stop interrupting the defendant and the judges. Defendant submitted two voicemails from plaintiff. Plaintiff certainly thinks he's getting a lot for $200 payment to defendant. Judge Juarez says oral contract, and no meeting of minds beyond the short video. Counterclaim by defendant dismissed. Plaintiff claim dismissed, and Judge Juarez urges both sides to work this out. “Pit Bullying” Rerun, Season 11, Episode 35 p. 52, 28 October 2024
  18. Not only is next week a rerun, but the following week is also. I guess this episode is the end of it all.
  19. 25 February “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” New, Season 11, Episode 94 (Laniya Bishop vs. Christopher Whiley Byes) From the show site: A woman claims it made sense to put her partner's car in her name, but after she broke up with him, his payments stopped coming. He claims she refuses to let him see their son over this, but he shouldn't owe for a car that she kept. How did this dispute drive such a wedge between these former sixth grade sweethearts? Plaintiff /girlfriend Laniya Bishop suing defendant / ex-boyfriend Christopher Whylie Byes for car payments, unpaid tickets, remaining balance on the car Suing for $5000. Plaintiff had car in her name, .because defendant had no credit or license. They weren't living together, so car had to be in her name. Car was to take their son to school, etc. So, plaintiff was to have loan in her name, but defendant would make payments. She actually got him two cars, and the first year he made the payments. When defendant got a car in his name, he stopped making payments. When defendant stopped paying, plaintiff told him to give the car back. Plaintiff was responsible for the remaining loan amount, plus unpaid tickets defendant racked up. Plaintiff also had to pay the shortfall after car was sold by finance company. I'm sorry, plaintiff came to court with unclean hands, she knew defendant had no license, but was going to drive it anyway. I wouldn't give the plaintiff a penny. Then, plaintiff had defendant arrested for domestic violence, Plaintiff reported car stolen, police found and impounded the car. They couldn't get car out of impound, registration was expired, and defendant didn't have a license. Plaintiff finally had to pay to get car out of impound, it's in her mother's driveway. Car is inoperable, and plaintiff wants to pay the car off and sell the car. Defendant went to jail for the assault, four or five days. he learned nothing. He still maintains he doesn't owe anything for the car after he was arrested, and didn't need the car anymore. Defendant did an interet show with a bunch of money, for stupid reasons. Judges decide to pay $5,000 to plaintiff. “Plea for the Car Key” Rerun, Season 11, Episode 36 p. 52, 29 October 2024

  21. 24 February “Careless Car Care” New, Season 11, Episode 93 (Angie Rodriguez and Raymond Carrillo vs. David Egea) From the show site: A couple claims their mechanic received money from their insurance company, outsourced their car repair to someone else for a lower price, and then pocketed the difference. But the mechanic claims he did everything above board. Is his defense "an affront to the judges' intelligence?" Plaintiffs/car owners Angie Rodriguez and Raymond Carrillo suing defendant/mechanic David Egea for taking money from the insurance company, having the repair work done by a substandard shop that charged less, and stealing the difference. Car is a Kia Seltos. Suing for $5,000. Car was picked up by defendant, work started in January, and not finished until May. Damage was the front end of the car, and most wasn't repaired when the car was returned. Plaintiffs have a list of what worked on the car before defendant started working on it, but the items on the list were broken when car was returned. Defendant says plaintiff Rodriguez wasn't on the registration or insurance. The at fault driver's insurance paid for the repairs, $7600, with a $1,000 deductible. Judges find defendant's defense to be ridiculous, and unbelievable. Defendant keeps claiming that plaintiff Rodriguez wasn't registered, so guessing that means on the registration? She should have been listed on the insurance though. $5,000 for plaintiffs. “Sold Short” Rerun, Season 11, Episode 41 p. 52, 6 November 2024

  24. S10.E02: WATN: "Thederick and Lindsey" New, 2/25/2025 Thederick was the man who had the giant lymphedema on his leg. (Original Episode Season 9 Episode 2, 6 January 2021. He’s from Gretna, Florida) Thederick has lost enough weight to get the giant lymphedema mass removed from his leg, in one of Dr. Now's biggest removals ever. Will he even bother to pursue weight loss surgery after that? Lindsey is famous for “Eat death Lindsey” yelled by her husband when she wanted junk food. (Original Episode Season 8 Episode 2, 8 January 2020. She’s from Hills, Iowa) Lindsey loses more than weight when she loses her husband to another woman. (Next week is a rerun of Holly and Lashanta from a couple of season ago, I'm wondering if Lindsey and Thederick is the last 'new' episode?)
  25. Making the Nest. S09.E08 New 2/23/2024 "A couple are relocating to Laurel for his new position at the hospital. With a young son and a baby on the way, the clock is ticking for Ben and Erin to find them a house and make it a home so they can nest before the baby arrives." Mary Claire and Will Buck, he's the new internist at the hospital. They have one baby, another on the way. Budget is $600,000 all House 1-Roberts House- 4 bed 3 bath 4500 sq ft. $350,000 . Erin wants to paint the dark brown brick exterior, and change the single front door to a double door. $40,000 for the exterior. Living room only has parquet floors on the edges of the room, so fist floor needs new flooring. FIrst floor is $40,000, kitchen is huge but strange. Turn kitchen into one big room with tons of cabinets, and a big island with seating, and a pantry, half bath further from the kitchen. No more wallpaper. Kitchen is $65,000. Den is nice, $10,000 reno. Main suite is now three rooms, and will be changed to a big en suite, and a dressing room closet for Mary Claire. Bedroom suite is $60,000. Total is $600,000 total. House 2-Vance House. 4 bed 4 baths 4600 sq ft. $350,000. Paint the eterior green. Replace the front door. $30,000 for exterior. Not in a neighborhood like the Roberts House. Put LVP throughout. Kitchen is a total gut. Living/dining/mud room, kitchen $70,000 for everything in the living/kitchen area, sunroom. Add a hallway to lead to a home office. En suite is horrible, sunken shower/tub. huge bedroom, with a dressing room and closet. $75,000 for this. $550,000 for everything, all in. They pick the Roberts House in a neighborhood. The kitchen brick is laid loose over sand, and it will cost $3,000 to get rid of the brick, sand, and put in concrete. The front dourble doors mean they have to remove the brick around the single from door. The removed brick will go around the windows that are changing. Erin looked at the boards that filled in the living room floor, and wants to use it for the modern abstract art that Bucks love. New double front door is lovely. They put non opening windows in the kitchen, so they have to get custom windows. Ben is using the parquet flooring from the house for a giant headboard. What a clever idea. They have to run the tiles the other direction, but it looks spectacular. Stubbs, the cabinet guru is doing the entire kitchen and pantry, plus the huge custom closet for Mary Claire. The closet is the biggest they've ever done for a client. As always, Mr. David's tile work is beautiful. Kitchen, island, shower, and both bathroom vanities will need six slabs. Erin mentions honed granite shows fingerprints, so they go for smooth, polished granite. Shower will be slabs, and island is big. Erin changed the particle board with glue on it into a fun portrait for the office. The lady's dress will have a ginko leaf pattern. I love the lighter, but not white kitchen cabinets. House is finished two weeks before Mary Claire's due date. Erin used a lot of the couple's own furniture. I usually don't like painted brick, but the brick looks wonderful, the green trim looks spectacular, and the new doors are such a difference. Living room looks great with Erin's art. Kitchen is so nice, dining room looks so much better than the former room. House was $565,000 all in. Memory Lane: Shug and Spice The Napiers take a moment to revisit how they helped a couple expand the footprint of their home by adding a much needed additional bathroom as well as an outdoor kitchen.
