Elizabeth Warren defended her decision quite well on Twitter, the show just didn't cover it very well.

Meghan going toe-to-toe with Sunny is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Also, LOL at Whoopi trying to flirt with Craig Ferguson. I get it.

Whoopi and her mom look EXACTLY the same. That is crazy!

Apparently her sister is extremely private and does not want to be in the public eye at all. This People article gives a bit more information.

Meghan does have an adopted sibling that her mother brought back from a trip to an orphanage in Bangladesh. It's likely that she feels a connection to foster kids because of this.

I'm talking about the activity itself. A sex strike frames sex as something that women do to reward men, not something that they do because it's fun or because they want to. It's a retrogressive way of looking at sex, women's bodies, and women's agency that I see as more or less antithetical to feminism.

While I disagree with Meghan's stance on abortion (and the way she shares it), I totally agree that the proposed sex strike is not feminist.

I would feel embarrassed if my parents supported me at Alex's age, but I guess I'm at least a little impressed that she doesn't bear that guilt.

Everyone seemed extra wacky and giggly today. Whoopi's dancing and singing, the weird questions Abby and Meghan asked Anne Hathaway, Joy calling Shakespeare "cute" ... I wonder what that was all about?

But Sunny regularly says she's pro-life, which wouldn't endear her to most liberal watchers of The View. She also talks about being an extremely jealous partner and doing classic 1950s housewife things like wearing makeup to bed. I think in one episode she expressed discomfort, even anger, at the idea that a high school would make condoms available to students. None of these positions make her look particularly liberal.

I assume the customer base is bag ladies who have won the lottery.

Just once I wish someone would point out to Meghan that being the daughter of a failed presidential candidate doesn't grant her political expertise.

Sunny is an extremely well-educated and well-spoken woman. She displays her intelligence on the show every day. I do think Joy is self-righteous, as are most people with strident political views, but I like her in spite of that.

I like Aarón Sanchez ... the rest is meh.

I'd love to see Roxane Gay guest host, but I think she's too much of a national treasure to be subjected to some of these ladies full time.

I would have listened to Sunny calmly explain the Julian Assange thing for a full 60 minutes today. I wish that were an option.
