  1. I’ve noticed it for awhile. I know my posture has gotten worse after holding babies and slouching over my cell phone for years, maybe she is the same.
  2. Yep and there was another episode that addressed this episode, where Fred and Dan both thought that Jackie still had an active crush on him.
  3. Completely agree about Becky and Darlene. I love their relationship. I’m also shocked at the turn of events and personalities, but I’m loving it too. Um no, you aren’t the only one with the vibes. What’s worse is I am rewatching Roseanne and now I’m like hyper aware of their (Dan and Jackie’s) interactions and I’m telling my brain to stop it but also I’m like, well maybe?!?!?
  4. Good point- Also your first sentence reminded me of David and Darlene- never thought David would ditch the fam and Darlene would be so sweet and Momish. I think Becky will be a great mom, as long as she can keep her drinking at bay. She is a good person who is stronger than she knows, as Darlene said.
  5. I keep saying this, and I may be 1000% off base (my Conners friend in real life disagrees with me), but I DO think David and Darlene will get back together. I think they are growing and learning apart, and then will come back together. Like I wouldn’t bet money but maybe a candy bar lol.
  6. I’m rewatching Roseanne and last night I saw the episode where DJ didn’t want to kiss Geena. It stood out in my memory but I paid extra attention since we know Geena now. I think obviously the writers went back and watched that episode but there was something DJ said that stood out to me. He was saying she was so different, her hair was different, her lips are different, and she “has sorta an accent”. Her dad at the end also spoke in that tone. So I think that’s why Geena is always speaking that way. Now she doesn’t have to always talk about God, but I think the fact that she doesn’t sound like the rest of the Conners is actually done with good intentions, and not to be like “oh here is our token black character”. And I was totally almost crying during that episode, knowing DJ falls in love with her skin, hair, lips, voice, and most importantly, the amazing woman who is Geena Williams.
  7. I think Michael has been great since he was a 6 year old kid. DJ is so funny!
  8. This is just my theory, and it might be completely wrong- but I feel like basically David and Darlene will learn how to be better partners with their experiences this season and then reunite. I am a huge David/Darlene fan so maybe I am seeing it with a skewed look, but I feel like they still love each other strongly and the season finale might end with them starting anew.
  9. We didn’t see this one (episode 5) we saw episode 7. Having said that, we were told they filmed over 40 minutes worth of footage, so half won’t make it in. For episode 5 I know there was a still of Neil and Darlene on the porch so they probably filmed the scene where she dumps him and then cut it for time. When 7 airs I’ll let everyone know what was cut and what was left in.
  10. Thats exactly what my sister said when we went to the taping for episode 7 lol
  11. I though Jackie was hilarious in this entire episode.
  12. What exactly was the very special message from Mark?
  13. Eh, I don’t think she did anything wrong. She is very introverted. Even if it was a rock concert she might hesitant to dance and sing along.
  14. Also she called him “Baby” or some other term of endearment in church (while telling him “raise the roof” hasn’t been a thing since 2005 lol)- they seem believable to me it’s just we hardly see them at all. At the filming I went to they were recording Holiday Greeting messages for abc or twitter or something and they had a lot of chemistry together and were quite the dashing couple in their dressy wear.
  15. It did, and that little bit about a 10 step simple method that takes 3 hours was hilarious, including Darlene’s self deprecating response. I love this family.
  16. I thought this episode was fantastic. I laughed, I cried, I thought about it all day and I watched again. One little odd thing I noticed (beyond the fact that this ep was clearly supposed to be shown after the premiere) is right when Mark comes in he seems to be looking directly at the camera. Is it just me? I feel like someone should have caught that lol. Anyway like I said, I loved this entire ep. I don’t have any problems with Geena but I agree she is seem one note. We need to see more. I love Darlene but maybe there can be an ep or two that doesn’t focus so much on her, so we can learn more about the other characters. Jackie was amazing in this episode. I loved her from start to finish. She was so classic Jackie. Dan and Becky had me crying throughout. Wow. So much to unload. Also? Sara Gilbert was clearly the “breakout” star in the original, and now she understandably is the focus and center, but Lecy Goranson is absolutely the breakout star this go around. Its so weird, this doesn’t feel like a normal sitcom to me anymore. It’s not. It’s a show about a family that I love and am interested in seeing every week, and I just want to know everything about their lives.
  17. This is what I think too. Also there was a quick mention by Blue in the ep I saw filmed about getting David a therapist. It was just a quick statement and not sure if it will be cut or touched upon again but I was like yes, please, let’s heal these broken characters. I am so looking forward to Becky’s storyline this season. Lecy was always great but she’s been stellar since the reboot.
  18. It just depends on what they want to do storywise- I’m guessing she isn’t going to have a harder time than she has been having, although there will certainly be issues bc this is a tv show based on struggle. But if the character didn’t have a baby, she would still struggle bc again, it’s a tv show about a struggling family. For what it’s worth, she wasn’t showing yet in the episode I saw filmed.
  19. Bastet, why are you convinced this will screw up her life?
  20. Lol ok. We didn’t see this but the warm-up guy clued us in. I guess in a previous episode Becky didn’t know who the father was, and it was between her boss and the busboy, and it turns out the father is the busboy. I’m assuming it’s the one who doesn’t speak English very well played by Rene Rosado. Yay a Latino Conner!
  21. Not to be that person, but I know who the dad is- Again, not sure if it’s more fun to everyone if I spill or to wait and see onscreen.
  22. I don’t think they are punishing her character or anything like that- I think they just thought this was an interesting storyline. She seemed pretty happy in this ep but I’m assuming when she found out it was more of a shock.
  23. So in this ep she already knew she was pregnant and apparently has stopped drinking so possibly the baby gives her motivation to get her life together. Also my guess is it will be a boy as well. Avoids naming the baby Roseanne and there are already 3 grandkids in “girl” clothes, even though Mark is definitely a boy.
  24. It was episode 7, entitled “Pass the Salt” and they were getting ready for Christmas. Not sure when it will air officially but sometime in December.
