  1. Bahahahaaa. Here's a fun fact: I am a klutz. I am always sporting bruises --- it comes with the territory of being active. I'm always banging into the pool wall, or a weight rack, or a piece of equipment. Well, today I found a new and creative way to bruise myself. I dropped my water bottle (full) and it landed squarely on that vein that runs alongside my ankle bone. Puffed up and turned purple instantly. Didn't stop me from finishing my workout, but I shall limp around the house tonight lamenting "ow, my laig!" (For those who also watch M600PL.) 😄

  3. I think she and her nitWhits have no clue how few calories this "workout" burns. At her size, probably 70. And you know she probably "rewards" herself with a Starbucks frappe because she "worked out."
  4. OK, an observation in the form of a question: why do so many of these poundtestants have no teeth? They seem to have plenty of money for tattoos, but none for a dentist. And we're talking younger people, not some 90 year old.....

  7. And yet some of the nit-Whits say it's really work.... smh. A number of posters on the IG post are calling her out about her weight, like howscome you're so fat if you exercise so much.
  8. OMG what a joke her "exercise" is. Yep, even if she's just a guest.
  9. Maybe she'll get to be an honor attendant for Tal when/if they get married. Personally I wouldn't have her as an attendant because you KNOW she'd pull some stunt to divert allllll the attention to herself.

  17. I hear you. I stay "sore," especially my traps. My massage therapist commented on that --- "Have you ever counted the number of times you raise your arm over your head?" So I did. 100 strokes per lap x 72 laps= 7200 times or 3600 times per arm. And that's PER SWIM. Add in shoulder presses, lat pulldowns, etc and oy! No wonder my shoulders are kvetching.
  18. One thing to keep in mind, as we age our metabolism slows. I've read that basal metabolic rate declines by 10% for every decade after 30. That means that if your bmr burned 2000 calories a day at age 30, at 40 it would burn only 1800. By the time you're my age, it's pretty much at 1300 calories a day. You can counteract this to a certain extent by resistance training --- muscle burns more calories than fat. And of course cardio, cardio, cardio.....
  19. Agreed. I could do without the obligatory nude shower/bathroom scenes, long car trip, and backstories that are sooooooooooo long it feels as if we're experiencing them real-time.
  20. Wouldn't work. The cold from the ice would cause the "sticks" to go into hiding. 😄
