  1. Enterprise rents luxury cars. You can get a Porsche, Bentley, Maserati..... of course Dog only knows how much they would charge per day for a Maserati. Way more than I would ever consider paying.
  2. Anybody else on here besides me and @Gramto6 old enough to remember men's cologne "British Sterling?" Talk about hurl-inducing....
  3. I learned a trick in my 20s that helps keep the scent subtle. I spray the cologne into the air about 6 inches above my head and a foot in front of me, then walk through it as it falls. Very little lands on my body. Perfume is actually easier to control: a small dab on each wrist and a small dab in the hollow of your throat is all you need. And speaking of scents --- my favorite is an OLD scent that's been around forever. It's difficult to get now, so I usually keep a couple of bottles, enough to last a year ot two. Most of the time my "scent" is "Eau de Swimming Pool."😉😉😄
  4. Back in the 80s Calvin Klein's "Obsession" was all the rage. It made my asthma flare.
  5. To me, it's more "I just rolled out of bed..."
  6. The one (to me) with the most gorgeous eyes is Derek Carr. I still hate him just because he's on the Raiders but yowzuh.
  7. Harvin sucks. The first game he played with the Steelers, I think his longest punt was something like 35 yards.
  8. Trubisky sucks. That is all.
  9. Damned onion-cutting ninjas are at it again in my living room.
  10. Tom Coliccio is also hawking a line of cookware called MadeIn. He claims it's used in his restaurant. If that's true, it certainly would explain why the food there is so expensive.
  11. I hate this douchey commercial with a white hot passion https://www.ispot.tv/ad/2MZo/gmc-sierra-puppy-t2

It's a Christmas miracle. Letang's stroke was incredibly mild, and caught quickly enough, that he was back on the ice in tonight's game against the Sabres.
  13. Who the h*** is cutting onions in my living room?
  14. I'm not a lawyer (and they won't let me play one on tv) but wouldn't the team doctor, as a medical professional, fall under HIPAA laws?
  15. Saw that one for the first time last night. They really should have used that one around Halloween. It's right up there with the Geico "Attic Tea Party."
  16. I agree. A tribute episode to Babs AS AN END TO THIS CRAP would be nice, but a 2 hour special like I described would not.
  17. Yes please. But no doubt, TLC will probably do a 2 hour special episode about Whitney's reaction, funeral preparations, and funeral.
  18. I spent 30 years in information security, the last 10 of which were as CISO. So yeah, unless he signed something giving the team the right to release his medical information to the public, they definitely violated the law.
  19. Pretty sure the first is a lawsuit waiting to happen over a HIPAA violation.

Nope. Baseball is (I think) the only team sport where there is no salary cap. The "cap" is whatever the owners are willing to spend. Edit to add... there's sort of a ceiling and teams spending above that pay a "luxury tax," but teams like the Dodgers, Mets and Yankees just laugh and pull out their checkbooks.
  21. Assuming that this is true.... is anyone else enjoying this delicious plate of Chase/Glen/babies irony? Yum. 😉😄
  22. I actually wouldn't mind the temperature. To my mind, you can always put on more clothes, but when it's hot (which to me is anything over 72°) you cannot take off enough to get cool. Unfortunately I am married to a desert rat. It took me 8 years to break him of putting on a winter coat when it got down to 55.
  23. Oh my. You live in one of this country's most beautiful places. Color me envious.
