I speculated on this in the spoiler/spec thread... agree that I do not see him tossing the car. He is a great foil to Homelander and I like the contrast of his Independent style and absolute competence with the current crew's highly curated presentation and .... highly variable competence ... I love the Deep but... yeesh.

It feels like way too much to tie up satisfactorily. Well we know Homelander will still be around next year as will Vought and the Boys... some things will have to be left hanging for next season.

There's something we are missing... or it could be exactly that .. temp V gets a pass. SB was weakened and he weakened Homelander but did not completely knock him out. What mattered was that Homelander ran and was scared. It will get interesting.

But they really marketed they heck out of them now now... that's the part of the storyline too with the Legend and SB and all the marketing, numbers and branding nonsense. The 7 are manufactured to fit what Vought says. SB was... like the legend he was a legend and that's why they took him out. SB was the real deal. He can actually do things. Yes he is flawed but he can actually do things. My guess is that he could not be controlled. That's what it's looking like to me. It's interesting seeing someone really normal and real besides Starlight who is so self righteous. Of course the others are the heroes. They do look silly in their outfits The acting is superb. It is out of this world this season. I hope his head doesn't pop.

I like him so much better than the others and not just because he's Dean bamf Winchester. It's like when GI Joe shows up and he is so much better than Ken is. He is bigger and more muscular. His joints are more bendy. He is more of a guy. You know it and Barbie knows it. The Ken's know it too and they hate it when GI Joe comes out of the sand box to play. SB is just cooler than current iteration Vought plastic supes with their make-up and silly unitards. If it weren't for the some modern tech he would not need the Boys. Homelander, Deep... the are useless. BN... what has he been up to... he is SB adjacent in his skill set.

The Herogasm was what happened on MM frankly by definition... But yes the fight was collectively fangasm. The Deep managed to save Timothy 2. He will have to kill his wife to keep him off the dinner menu.

Lol. I am soooooo tired. This episode... I watched twice. Only 2 more and not nearly enough meat.

SB was exhausted from his big boom. I think Homelander has bitten off more than he can handle. He will call in Victoria.

They can get it from another source. There was the stuff Stormfront was using... maybe there is some of that somewhere. There is the stuff the Russians were using... that could tie the Boys A-team back to Frenchie and Kimoko through Nina. A mutual hunt for her... Butcher will want to be juiced even if it's permanent. He tasted Homelander's fear. SB may even be the source material for the Russian V. That may be why the Russians kept him locked up with the hamster.

I had some thoughts after Herogasm and after reading after Ahrftee's comment that were note suited to speculation/spoiker. 1. JA has said that he Hope's that he's invited back for season 4.... make of that what you will. 2. According to my husband, in the comics BN goes around doing horrible things pretending to be Homelander. I am going to say that it was BN pretending to be SB that threw the car at the house killing MM' grandfather. Why.... This SB is substantially different than his comic ititeration. Like Starlight he appears to be one of the most human Supes. He has vices however we see regret that he killed in the blasts. It really doesn't like he would just throw a car to kill for no reason at innocent Americans. Just my spec. Those big blasts wear him out. It would be interesting to see him against SB full strength. Butcher will want the full juice now.

Taking reply to speculation thread

SB's talk of wanting children made me think of certain spec that has been discussed. That would be the one thing to bbn put him off the deal.

Yes. Stormfront was Liberty. SB apparently did not know she was a Nazi.

His team were low rent except for Noir and Noir wanted top billing. That could have been enough. He was a dinosaur in terms of the times and Vought wanted shiny and new. I am sure we will learn.

I think kimoko's powers are coming back however she may by be unaware so that suggests it's temporary. She should have died and she should not have been that resilient, badass, etc.in her condition. Also not everyone in the blast radius lost their power. MM story was pretty bad but yes he is blasting because of ptsd torture triggering. He has outdated viewpoints characteristic for a man of his upbringing which is viewed negatively; he's not a stone cold killer per se that we have seen aside from Vengeance Quest 2022.

I will try not to spoil too... Ok. Wondering what is going on with A-train because there was redemption and satisfaction and then finality to his storyline. The Deep misses Timothy. SB has great chemistry with his half of the Boys and very clear and problematic ptsd. If only he can sneak up on Homelander when he's not so exhausted. What is going on with Noir. Is he checking in with Stan, going off the grid... IDK. That was a great scene. I loved how they used Herogasm.

More or less what I think. You spelled it out more.... it could get nasty for the ladies Homelander has it in for and it could be a way for SB to assert himself as opposing him as the "hero" ...

I think Stan has powers... maybe Professor X type stuff.

I think they used him to make supes. I have to rewatch earlier seasons to be sure. The hamster suggests it and I recall the serum being tested by the Russians being red as in made from his blood. I could be wrong.

I totally think that Stan had the plan. He looks like someone in control and he said the daughter would be protected.

He was pretty torn up about the whale.

I think the actor is incredibly strong in this role and agree. He could end up being pivotal if he finds the strength to stand up for himself.

I think he did it because he was not in control of his powers and he needed to get out of there. Also Ryan would be in danger if Homelander connected them. It was calculated.
