The late Mr. Police stopped a friend of mine cold who was coming after me at a dinner one night. He asked him to stop and when that didn't work he asked him to go outside. I quickly had an apology from my friend. After many years of me being stupid and making excuses for my friend, I finally cut him out of my life. I would expect any loving husband to try and stop an attack on his wife. I think it took some control not to take her arm and lead her to the door since she made no effort to leave.
