When she is confronted with a rebuttal to what she has said she doesn't know how to respond. Like you said she has her talking points all ready but since they aren't her talking points she can't elaborate on what she just said because for her it's just a script. Her life would be so much easier if she just thought for herself.

She put Meghan in her place. She simply told Meghan she didn't say that and explained what she did say. I wish more people would treat Meghan that way. If you don't have the conviction to stand up for your beliefs then you stand for nothing. Meghan is the living embodiment of this. She is worried about blow back from both sides so she just says a whole bunch of nothing. I do wonder what her stance on these things would be if her dad was still alive. This is it exactly. She doesn't want to be a loser. If Trump wins she wants to be able to say I told you so and if Trump loses she wants to be able to say I told you so. She didn't think there would be a blue wave in 2018 and there was and she downplayed it. It will be hard to downplay Trump winning or losing. If Meghan predicts one way or the other she will be stuck with her prediction. She won't be able to spin it.

I didn't misunderstand what you said. Meghan is still getting upset about things. I'm not saying she doesn't have legitimate reasons for being stressed out but a lot of it is self inflicted. Her continuing to be upset about a crib is a case in point. We are all living in the same upended world and we all have to make adjustments. At times like this we need to be thankful for what we have and not bitch about what we don't.

You give her way too much credit. If anyone is making Meghan angry and stressed out it's Meghan. She is not suffering. Yeah it sucks not being able to go and do things that you want to do but even in quarantine her life is a lot cushier than most people's.

Meghan acts like Omar is the face of the Democratic party. She isn't. But Meghan wants everyone to think she is and what she says is how all Democrats feel. That is how Meghan views everything. How will this affect my team? Can we win with this or is this going to cause us to lose? It's all about strategy and spin. She has painted herself into a corner. If she condemns what is going on she will be an outcast in her own party (but honestly her party doesn't like her anyways). If she speaks out against what is happening she gets demolished on Twitter. I think she thought she could coast by in life by simply being a famous daughter. She doesn't have the strength or character to form her own identity and beliefs. Any time she does pick a side and it gets too hot she tries to walk it back. And then she gets heat for that and she waffles again. So now she just says a whole bunch of nothing.

That was always her dream. She wanted to a live a lifestyle her column was never going to be able to provide for her. Even when she sold her book we didn't see her invest in her future. I hope she paid Charlotte back but who knows. She was shocked Aiden wasn't giving her the apartment. Remember Carrie was offended (kinda) when the guy left her money after she spent the night with him. But living with Alek in Paris without any means of support (other than her book royalties) was OK with her. I can only speak for myself but I would need more of an exit strategy than that. If Big hadn't been there Carrie was going to what? Go home to NYC with her tail tucked between her legs telling Miranda she was right? I think it was both. I think Miranda did feel Carrie should have a plan if things didn't work out but yeah she also wanted Carrie to stay because Miranda had just made a big life changing decision (marrying Steve and moving to Brooklynn) and she wasn't entirely comfortable with that yet. And I still think Steve wasn't the right man for her. Yes but she wore glasses so we are supposed to take her more seriously as a writer. Or reader I guess.

When she said that I thought wait a minute didn't the war last into the 70s. It really threw me. While I understand her happiness at people taking this seriously unfortunately it took a man being murdered on video to get people into the streets. No smiles for me about this.

With Meghan on the show there have been so many things they have been unable to talk about or make fun of. She really did suck the enjoyment out of the View.

And I doubt any co hosts will come to her defense or give her any support. They see her for who she is.

She will paint herself as a victim. How she had to escape the city because pregnancy, which she only mentions when she can use it for sympathy. She would say people are responsible for their own actions ignoring that it was her actions that put things in motion. She wouldn't care. Meghan will never come out and fully say something that is racist but she will use dog whistles and say things that most people would think offensive but some people wouldn't think offensive. It's all a game to her. Winners and losers. As long as her team is winning she doesn't care what methods they use. For someone "who has been in politics her whole life" she has absolutely no sense of how to not step in shit. If she can't keep herself out of hot water how the fuck is she supposed to give political advice?

So all this talk about not being able to go outside and take a walk was clearly a lie. I'm sure wherever she is staying at in Virginia has ample space to walk around without encountering anyone coughing or protesting. Meghan can't even quarantine without causing an uproar. She thrives on drama which she herself causes. So now we know she is six months pregnant so she is due in September. And will most likely be back from maternity leave in time for the election. Drats. When she had that melt down and complained she didn't want to talk about kids was she already pregnant?

She is so easy to own. All you have to do is simply speak the truth. Most of what she is says is just blatant lies and so easily refuted. All Seth Meyers had to do is confront her with her own words. If I were Meghan I would just let this one go. The woman works with Samantha Bee. Does Meghan really want to get into a feud with someone who can embarrass her on a daily basis?
