  1. Didn't the whole family do the trying on cowboy hats last year in Texas on their vacation at Nathan's sister's house? Kaylee does look pretty in that picture in the hat.
  2. Some of this is new and interesting information to me. However, I have heard on multiple occasions that indeed, each of Paul's epistles were letters to individual churches that he had a history with. And each of the letters was talking about specific situations in that specific church. For example the "the women should be silent" part was supposedly addressing an issue in that specific church where several woman were causing some problems. So, as it was explained to me, Paul was only talking about those specific women, not all women. Of course I belong to a denomination that allows women to be pastors, elders, teach in their seminaries and be the moderator for the entire denomination. So Johnny Mac and Jeremy and Jim Bob would all proclaim us as heretics needing to be burned at the stake.
  3. There are several bulbs in the Brown chandelier that appear to be a bit dim.
  4. Also, she just told Meri in Sunday night's episode, " Truth be told, Meri, she was thinking about leaving him before Flagstaff. " So that would be in Las Vegas. And Meri commented something about that Christine had been struggling (maybe not the exact wording) for a long time. I don't know why Christine sits there and let's her talk to her like that ( well I do, it's for the cameras) but I would tell her to get off my porch and off my property. And take Ramen Head with her!
  5. I have an idea for how TLC can keep this show going. Kody can marry Jill Rodrigues as his 4th wife. (For those of you who are not familiar with her, check out the Sweet Fellowship thread in the Counting On forum). I know she would have to divorce the Hunk, but she gets a TV show and a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. She would make a great addition to the family. She and Janelle can sell Plexus together and she can show Janelle all the RV parks she's been thrown out of. She and Meri can go to Disney World and she can decorate the B&B with additional dust catchers. Jill and Robyn can share eyebrow styling tips with each other. And best of all, Robyn can divorce Kody so that he can legally adopt the younger Rodrigues kids. Jill might even find the same artist to do a portrait of Kody with her kids. Kody and Jill can see who can be the most vile narcissist! It would be like one of those disasters you just can't look away from!
  6. For Christine's sake, I hope not! How humiliating! However, if he sat with Robyn, and ruined her evening by growling, " What about that guy? Do you think he's the one she's with? Oh, maybe it's that one. He's the one after MY money. No, I think it's that tall guy, I saw him looking her over. Damn it, Robyn it could be any of these guys. Look at her laughing and smiling at them all." Now that would suit me just fine.
  7. My guess is that she was invited because I just don’t see Logan deliberately snubbing her like that. He appears to be a good guy. I am not sure though why on earth she wouldn't go. Maybe she did and Phoenix was one of the stops on her trip.
  8. Does David have his shoes up on Nurthan's sofa? I can't see well enough to know if it is socks or shoes. However it does possibly seem to be the same shoes he is wearing in the beach pictures. Hopefully it is socks.
  9. OK, some of you made the mistake of saying nice things about a previous outfit so look what she shows up in now....complete with leggings.
  10. Who is Sweetie and did Kody actually say they have "the logic of an idiot?" Why?
  11. They rented a car because theirs has broken struts. If they run into any people who suffered from the hurricane they will try to be a comfort to them or something like that according the video.
  12. Jill has a new post up on Facebook. She and David are home from spending a week in Florida without the children "celebrating us."
  13. Is this from their trip to St. Simon's Island after driving Nurthan back to Florida a few months ago or are they back in Florida again?
  14. As someone who grew up in a Baptist church in a small Southern town, Pastor Jeff would have been fired because of the divorce. Even though it was not his fault. The Baptist church would have never have condoned divorce, especially at that time. I now am Presbyterian so I am not sure how much has changed, but I don't think most Baptist churches would be sympathetic.
  15. Well Hurricane Ian is going to make Carly's complaints moot. The flooding will wash the remaining coffins out to sea and we can end this ridiculous story line. Honestly bad flooding can destroy a cemetery and send the coffins floating. It happened south of me about 25 years ago. It was devastating for the families at the time, but I would love it if it happened to Carly. No disrespect meant to Virginia, just Carly.
  16. It is used here in Georgia, usually as "punkin". I frequently call my grandchildren " punkin-doodle" as a term of affection. It does seem a little odd coming from Leon, though.
  17. As if he is really interested in the kids or in being a good parent to them. And even if he was, Robyn would nip that in the bud. He is just grandstanding.
  18. It looks like she picks a hair off the tater tots. Maybe not, but she pulls something off.
  19. I graduated with a Kenna over 50 years ago, but she is the only one I have ever known . I don't remember ever hearing why her parents named her Kenna.
  20. According to a new Facebook post, Jill says that in addition to singing, the family also passed out Gospel tracts. Thereby adding insult to injury. And then someone had to clean up all those tracts that were left all over the place.
  21. Did Janelle " mother" Robyn's kids? I know Meri liked to play with them some but it didn't seem like a "motherly relationship ". I thought Christine always behaved kindly towards Robyn's kids and I don't think Robyn ever did any more than that for any of the kids that were not her own. Kody probably told Robyn before their marriage that Christine had done all the child care and Robyn assumed Christine was going to take care of her kids full time so she could entertain Kody. When that didn't happen as much or as often as Robyn expected, Kody no doubt got an ear full. And when "Robyn ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."
  22. OK, quoting myself here. I looked it up and that IS the name of a church in Springfield, Ohio.
  23. OK, not to be dumb here, but is the name of the church King James Bible Church or is that just describing the church? I know Jill's grasp of grammar is somewhat tenuous, but the way it is phrased is confusing to me. I have never heard of a church named the King James Bible Church but that certainly doesn't mean it couldn't happen!
