She kept talking and talking about her shelter-building skills but she never did anything and he finally said she probably grew up with a maid (based on her intro, she was raised in a wealthy enclave in Connecticut, IIRC) and she went off on him. He called production over and said he didn’t feel safe. But eventually they finished. She came across as very odd. I’m fascinated that she’s “elite” enough for XL and that she’s nearly a ghost.

Hilarious in the preview when they jumped back and forth between showing Jeff wilting and the tree coming down. I hope someone yells TIMBERRRR and he face plants. Twitter isn’t loving Jeff and Laura:

I keep wondering if João told Sandy more than we saw and she felt sorry for him or was worried about his mental state. Reference the scene this season where he’s weirdly weepy on the bridge and she’s encouraging him to feel his feelz or whatever it was. That made me think we’d missed deeper interactions between them, and the tweets seem to confirm that. Her tweets also made me cringe because she can’t spell. 😐

Don’t quote me, but I think they may have done 21 days before the plebes were inserted. Only a loser would think those chances are adequate for SOMEONE DOING A SIXTY-DAY CHALLENGE.

I wish I’d had my house burn down instead of (in a one year period) experiencing the deaths of my son, my mother, both my sisters, my adored aunt and both of my dogs. I’ve been fascinated by LVP’s disappointment in her friends’ reactions to her brother’s death. Our best friends ghosted and told our daughter I was lying when I said we’d heard from them twice (and only via text despite them living next door) in the month after our son died (four days after my younger sister and three weeks before my dog). Others have been incredibly kind and supportive, though. As for avoiding conflict the way the ladies did for a few minutes for Camille, one neighbor has tried to start a war over hubby asking her nicely to stop allowing her large dog to poop every day in front of my door (the dog’s on Ring video). I guess catastrophes are different for different people but honestly my heart broke for Camille that her longtime assistant died. The house burning, that’s just inconvenient.

I think we watched a different show.
