Every municipality is unique. Greensboro ordinance specifically says an SFR is "designed for and occupied exclusively by one family" and I can't find any other ordinance permitting unrelated persons to share an SFR. Not sure one way or the other since I just did a quick search but unless there's an ordinance my bet is it's not allowed.

I frequently use property tax records to look up addresses. Some jurisdictions don't allow you to search by name but most, including Greensboro, do. I've even found people whose properties are under other ownership names.

I checked Greensboro's zoning. Her house is in a zone that does not permit her to use her home studio for business purposes. Honestly, I question whether she's legally permitted to have an unrelated tenant live with her or to have TLC filming there. It's just too suspicious that TFM wasn't shown saying he was sad she was leaving.
