  1. I rarely venture outside of my ID bubble, but anybody else watching The Disappearance of Maura Murray on Oxygen? I think it's a total of three episodes. I remembered the story from Disappeared and was curious if there have been any new developments. I didn't remember the thing about the rag in the tailpipe being mentioned on Disappeared. So creepy, and that makes it pretty clear to me some bad guy probably set her up to have car trouble and pounced when the opportunity presented itself.
  2. Rammchick, I was coming here to say the same thing. I think Cheryl is very talented and enjoyed her designs on the holiday show, but she has dialed the snark up a bit too much for my liking this season. I'm enjoying the judges and their comments. I don't really watch a lot of stuff on the Food Network, so I'm not familiar with the judges, but I really like the older, gray-haired gentleman. And I liked Jason on whatever prior baking competition he was on that I saw (they all run together) and am happy to see him here as well.
  3. This episode reminds me of that saying, "If you think everyone else is an asshole, you're probably the asshole." If ALL the nannies suck, something else must be going on. Either Gage and Jeff have totally unrealistic expectations or bad "pickers" or Zoila is stirring shit up or something. Ugh, did not like Jeanne Shaw at all. I would be exhausted after a couple of hours of dealing with her over-the-top personality.
  4. I requested one a few days ago, so hopefully it will get added soon.
  5. I made a new show request for Best Baker in America a couple days ago, so hopefully we'll get one for it.
  6. Last night's Deadline Crime with Tameron Hall with the husband pimping out his pregnant wife, OMG, my mouth was hanging open during most of this episode. I am not buying what that piece of shit's mother was trying to sell. It's really hard for me to imagine the mother of three young children with a baby on the way has enough energy to have sex with her husband much less want to try and spice up their sex life by swinging. I really feel like there must have been some substance abuse going on here, meth, oxy. Mentally healthy people do not jump to prostitution to put food on the table. I mean, maybe try to get a job first??? I know mom said he applied at the gas station and they said he was overqualified. Yeah, I just bet he applied at the gas station, and then thought it would be much easier to pimp his wife out. Gross, gross, gross. I felt like I needed a bath after this episode. ETA: I really wish they would have interviewed friends or family of Jaymie (sp?) I mean, if that pathetic excuse for humanity was my son, I would not want to show my face on national television, so that's really telling that she gave this interview. Plus, they couldn't find anyone to stand up for Jaymie?
  7. Thanks, Llama! I added that to my DVR.
  8. All I could think while watching David and Jackie Siegel is that woman works hard for her paycheck. Shudder.
  9. I just did a forum request. I'm happy to change any of the topic titles if anyone has a better idea.
  10. Someone commented on this in the Holiday Baking Championship thread too. I haven't seen a forum for it. So it was a reward for Jason? I just stumbled on it the other night. Had no idea it was going to be on.
  11. I thought I was the only one watching BBIA. I looked for a forum as well and didn't see one. I just happened to see that the show was scheduled and set the DVR to record it. I would have been bummed if I had missed this. Weird that it didn't get the nonstop promotion the Halloween baking shows do. Actually, it's weird that they're airing them at the same time. It would have been great to have BBIA over the summer.
  12. I thought the same thing too, cherbitrary! I like these kinds of shows. It's light fluff to unwind to after a long day, but one thing the producers don't seem to get is that what I really want to see is impressive baking and decorating. I really, really wish they would give them enough time to do things that make me go "Wow!" Seeing stuff that's just slapped together because of the short amounts of time they have creates a lot of drama but not really great work.
  13. I've been impressed with Shattered as well, walnutqueen. The one last night was particularly well done. With all the true crime I watch, it's hard to be shocked by human behavior, but the father from the show last night was jaw-droppingly cold-hearted.
  14. The Rideout case was very interesting, and I thought it was one of those Datelines that could have been two hours instead of one. Thanks for all the background info and links, Cupcake. One thing I was wondering about was the night Craig's cell phone was stolen, during which someone plucked a hair out of his arm. Was there every any more information on what all that was about?
  15. Random thoughts on the marathon last night: Can someone tell Cambrie how to pronounce "Addidas"? Cambrie does seem really driven though, and I thought her Adeedos pics were cool. She's very fit! Faith is a big nothing burger for me, and quit chewing on your hair, girl. Cairo is a mean drunk, and the modeling agency lady was doing her a favor by being honest with her. Just because you're BEVERLY PEELE'S (Cairo's emphasis, not mine) daughter doesn't mean you got the modeling genes. I did love the smack down Beverly gave Andrea though about her girls not being real models and getting 2K for Instagram pics when she wouldn't get out of bed for at least 50K. Janis, or however you spell it, needs to be in a boy band. He is the only one that seems like he could really do something in the entertainment world.
  16. Right?! I almost made it through all four, but fell asleep midway through the last one. I absolutely love hate-watching this show and am bummed it won't be back.
  17. Y'all are cracking me up with the comments about last night's episode. I could tell the two women apart because the wife had seriously frizzy, dry hair. And don't even get me started on those bangs. Say what you will about the murderer, but he had some loyal friends. I wouldn't let ANYBODY keep a car with a dead body in it in my garage, not even my kid!
  18. Exactly, Emmeline. I used to watch all the Bravo shows, especially housewives, but I just cannot with all the drama, drama, drama.
  19. Oh, God, now I remember why I quit watching this show a few seasons ago. I tuned in again because I was interested in the baby, but it's all so stressful and depressing. Not what I need when I'm trying to unwind and relax.
  20. Loved more of the quints this epi and less of Adam and his depressing depression. The quints are so stinkin' cute now that they're talking. Re using the scissors to cut up the hot dogs, I've seen them used to cut up poultry and started using them myself to cut ribs apart. Super easy.
  21. Amen, Adeejay. And boyfriend Max was really out of line to talk to Andrea the way he did. I was so glad Krista (actually really liked her this epi) stood up for her. No way would I let someone talk that way to my mom when I was that age. That is one messed up family.
  22. Oh, my God, fast-forwarded through so much of this, esp Cairo and her daddy issues. Everybody and their freakin' daddy issues! And quit trying to make Andrea/Attiana-gate happen. How many times did I have to see Shanna tell us not to mess with her babies? Too many! This all feels like trying to make something out of nothing. Surely these people's lives are not this boring.
  23. I know they couldn't show everything in this episode, but I'm curious about if the surrogate breast feeds or pumps, or is it straight to formula? This epi actually brought up a lot of questions for me that I didn't have before. Like maybe it would have been better if Jeff and Gage had had a boy what with their juvenile reactions about female anatomy.
  24. I always think he looks like he's channeling Erin Robertson from last season. I mean, Aaron/Erin, there's a conspiracy theory in there somewhere.
  25. There were quite a few comments on the Scott Peterson show on page 61 starting about halfway down, and then there are some near the top of page 62.
